Haumea smiled gently as he lowered an energy drained body to the ground carefully. The teenaged boy was still alive, but when he woke up, it would be with one hell of an aching head. At least the presence of that youma had shielded his own somewhat.

For a moment, the corrupt senshi wondered why he couldn't hear the youma's growling any longer. Then, as that thought wisped through his mind, his back stiffened. He couldn't hear anything. No screaming, no youma. Had he been that involved in his own energy gatherings? Apparently so.

Giving the unconscious youth a final pat on the head, Haumea stood and felt a strong Order aura nearby. Sighing, he pulled his hair back out of his face and waited. Hopefully whomever-it-was wasn't out to attack. And surely the fact that he'd left his victim alive wouldn't hurt. After all, Haumea didn't want to kill anyone. He just wanted to be left alone to do his job in peace.

Eyeing the senshi who'd appeared, Haumea stifled a sigh. Judging by the look that had flickered across her face, she was likely to be troublesome. Tilting his head quizzically, he seemed to be thinking hard about her words.

"Jeez lady," he finally replied with a slight huff. "Stop acting like I just killed a kitten. Kid's still breathing. I just took some energy. No big."

Clearly discomforted by her glare, the corrupt senshi began to play with the fringe of his fuku all the while smiling in what he hoped was a friendly enough manner.

"I'm Haumea and yes? I mean, I'm not one of those weird mirror guys or white moon," he sneered a bit as if even mentioning the white moon was leaving a terrible taste in his mouth. "So I guess that indeed makes me Negaverse. If you're gonna go around demanding my info, you could at least be polite and volunteer some of your own."

Haumea flinched a little at her scorn. Jeez, what was with these white moon types? Just because he was a senshi working with the Negaverse didn't mean he was a terrible person! He was trying to help stop the war that they'd started all those ages ago.

For a moment he considered breaking and running when the girl introduced herself and then skittered over to look over the kid he'd drained herself.

"Hey, feel free. I tolja he's still breathing. I'm not going to go around killing innocent people if I can help it."

Thrilled to see the glaring accusation wind down a little, Haumea allowed himself to relax ever so slightly. At the question, he found himself smiling a little. Questions were good! Meant that he might not end up having to fight anyone.

"They call us corrupted senshi. The Negaverse rescued me and gave me a purpose," he stated with a tiny hint of pride. He was being given a chance to redeem himself in the Negaverse. And that meant more to him than he could properly express. "They saved me."

Relaxing slightly, now that the girl wasn't showing any signs of wanting to attack him, Haumea leaned back against a tree and fiddled with the fringe of his fuku as he pondered her question. There was no doubt that she was being sincere rather than sarcastic and in light of that, he wanted to give the best answer he could.

"Nah, you're not rude, miss. Rude would be asking after you'd knocked me down and stepped on my face, yeah?"

He couldn't help but offer up a tiny smile at that, hoping he'd see the logic as well as the humor. After another moment, he allowed himself to sink to the ground.

"Think I may need to sit down for this. Never had anyone ask me about it before," he offered as explanation. Then, slowly, as if making sure every word was the one he wanted, he continued speaking.

"They saved me from the lies of the Moon Kingdom and gave me a chance to redeem myself in their service. They very easily could have chosen otherwise and just had me killed, but they didn't. They saved me," he repeated with quiet intensity.

Allowing his lips to quirk into a tiny smile, Haumea felt himself relaxing a bit. Whatever else this girl was, she wasn't trying to immediately tell him he was wrong. It was refreshing.

"Don't know how much detail I can give for something that's over a thousand years old, but hey. Willing to try," he answered with a shrug before settling into more thinking. Really, it all seemed to boil down to the Moon's Princess turning her eyes in a direction that they'd never had a right to.

"The White Moon prolongs this war. It could all stop and there'd be peace again if they'd all just... go back to their own places and mind their own business. But they play the victim card, you see? Senshi don't belong on Earth. Not really. None of this mess would ever have happened if the Moon Kingdom hadn't tried to conquer Earth and lied about it being a case of twoo wuv uniting the two kingdoms."

It wasn't the best explanation, but it was clear that Haumea believed 110% in what he was saying.

Shaking his head (and trying to avoid getting angled in his own hair), Haumea made a negating gesture.

"No. Love is fine, but not when it interferes with duty. And not when it causes a galaxy-wide war. Love destroyed more worlds than it brought together in this case."

He was very certain about that. No, this entire war was the fault of the senshi and those who had followed the Moon Kingdom. He listened with interest as the girl spoke about the idea of going back to her own planet and nodded encouragingly.

And then tried not to jump too obviously when she touched his hand. Smiling a little, he considered her question.

"I still have a planet. I don't think I could henshin up otherwise. It's still out there somewhere. But I can't get to it. The connection is... warped, I guess is the best word. I envy you guys that can get out there. Must be amazing."

Okay, so he was a lot envious. Space seemed so interesting!

"I hear you," he said agreeably. "I'd rather not be involved either, but I am so I just want to atone for my past actions. And yeah. I was White Moon once. I have fuzzy memories. I wasn't really active for very long before I was corrupted."

He shrugged at her diffidence. It was just a word. And frankly, words meant nothing if you didn't let them.

Smiling widely at her laugh, he listened with sympathy as she described her home world. Somehow, when he'd thought of space int he past, he'd never once considered that it might be lonely.

"Can't you take someone with you? Like your family or anything? Then you wouldn't be so lonely."
