Time had a way of making someone forget things, or so he was told. It had been quite some time since the event, but the mark on General Buddingtonite's hand was still there, clear as day to anyone who was lucky to see him pull off his glove. Not that its appearance bothered him to much, either in his civilian life or Negaverse duties, as it didn't take much to hide the scar from sight, but what irritated him more was how it would periodically itch. And not just a mild one, but an all out, maddening one! It wasn't even on the surface but beneath the skin, where he couldn't reach, no matter how hard he tried. It was enough to drive him insane!

Maybe that's why he found himself in this abandoned clothing store not too far away from his own business, staring at the full body mirror that was left behind and in surprisingly good condition despite the drab environment around it. It was downright suspicious and if he was the paranoid sort, he'd take the time to grab his boomerang and smash that mirror. The last encounter he had with the Dark Mirror Court didn't end quite as well as he had wanted it to, though in hindsight, he was lucky to come out of the ordeal alive, and only physically scarred instead of demoted. He didn't regret his actions, though, still didn't, even when his hand began to itch. At least, he didn't regret his actions against the Dark Mirror Court- screw them, he thought. He was more disappointed in himself for not being able to talk himself out of the punishment and held more resentment against the General-King for taking the matter so personal, but that was neither here or there.

"What a completely inconspicuously placed mirror!" Buddingtonite said aloud, placing his hands behind his back and peering into the looking glass, seeing only one rather dashing looking Negaverse general looking back at him. That didn't mean someone wasn't there, of course... had anyone walked by and saw him talking to a mirror, they might have assumed him insane, and honestly, they probably weren't all that off. "Why don't you come out where I can see you? I promise, from the bottom of my heart, that I will not hurt you."

Would someone come out of the mirror? Was he making a scene out of nothing? Knowing Buddingtonite, he could have been anything at this point.

Canopus will come in a littl later, if that's alright? Also, not sure if we wanted a Reg or Battle. Let me know and I'll change it.

Machholz just stretched herself out as she slipped through the full length mirror in her bedroom after kissing her girlfriend goodnight. She was off to find more Dark Mirror Senshi like herself, wanting to connect with as many as she could in the smallish faction to make herself feel more at home. After all, the one reason she wasn't upset with becoming one was because she didn't feel like anyone cared about her while she was an Order senshi.

She also thought being a Dark Mirror Senshi meant she didn't have to deal with the Negaverse. Why? Because it made sense in Machholz world, that's why. Grinning to herself as she wandered through Mirror Space, the white haired woman just headed towards one of her favorite spots because it seemed to teem with DMS activity. Her overlay fluttered behind her along with her hair and she honestly felt so much better than she had in months. Recently connecting with her puppy, also known as Damocles had left her with a light heart. She was going to meet his boyfriend at one point and her world would expand even more.

The hopes she had of meeting another senshi tonight were dashed as she heard a very familiar, menacing voice speaking into a mirror. She stayed in mirror space, brows knit and just listened to him and his filthy lies.

Wouldn't hurt her? He'd nearly killed her! Why should she trust him, honestly? But she was more prepared for a battle, more powerful than when she'd fought him. The Super Senshi of Poison decided to step out of the Mirror, the feeling always taking her by surprise and she just glared at Buddingtonite, tense and not happy at all.

"Why should I trust you?" Tense, carefully clipped words with a tone that dripped untrust left her before she could really think about it.

He wouldn't recognize her. She'd changed so much since she was Order, but that feeling of pure hatred raged through her stomach. If worse came to worse she was going to go back through Mirror Space and home. Machholz didn't know if it was fair to hate him this much when he wouldn't know who she was until she introduced herself, but damn it! Now wasn't the time to be fair.

I think a battle would be good if you don't mind? Our Senshi versus Buddingtonite should be pretty interesting!

For all of his talk and friendly banter, he was legitimately surprised to hear a voice carry over from the other end, and not only that, but the voice was oddly familiar. When he first heard the voice, he had to take a step away from the mirror, recoiling from the sudden appearance of the Poison senshi, and despite the way he carried himself, he found himself raising his fists in preparation for the attack. He was expecting it just to be a mirror!

Her question took him off guard, but so did her appearance. He knew her to of the Dark Mirror Court, but he wasn't expecting her to look familiar, either! The white hair and green in her attire struck a chord of familiarity to him, but it wasn't something he associated with the mirror court. He pushed that thought to the back of his head, focusing on recovering his demeanor before she could see just how flustered he was. "Oh you startled me real good there! To answer your question, because though we're not technically allies, we have no reason to be enemies either?"

Of course, he wasn't sure if she was present during a certain little ambush, or if she would have recognized him given his disguise, but still, a memory stirred in his head, and it got to be rather annoying that she looked familiar and being unable to pinpoint exactly why! The way she held herself, though... she remembered him, and his mind raced with the millions of possibilities that laid in wait there!

"I'm General Buddingtonite. Might I have your name? For the record?"

Despite his participation in the White Phoenix ambush and his loyalty to Wolframite, he had no intentions of attacking... for the moment. As far as he was concerned, they were just making friendly conversation!

Bethany Wyatt hated traversing through this side of town, but there was simply no choice in the matter. When the event was over and everyone dispersed, she offered to stay behind to help clean up, and in doing so, missed the final bus stop for the evening. Now she would have to walk through the business district, the old, abandoned business district, where the homeless often gathered, as well as a place notorious for having Negaverse activity, and that scared her more than anything.

As a Dark Mirror senshi, she knew that, theoretically she had nothing to fear from a Negaverse officer. All she would have to do is power up and that should have been enough to leave her be, and yet, theory was never the same as practice. As wrong as it might have been, she had no love for the Negaverse as a whole. Certain individuals she could trust, perhaps, but there were others that she knew harbored a deep rooted hatred for her kind, and it was that kind of person that she was hoping to avoid this evening.

For her own safety, she had powered up the moment she was alone, and she had every reason to find the nearest mirror and make her way home. Super Sailor Canopus may have been given a new rank, but she was still weary on fighting. However, the idea of running away changed when she felt not only a strong, Negaverse aura, but another, this one belonging to a Dark Mirror Senshi. Was one of her allies being attacked? Were they alright? There was no hesitation in her mind! She had to check on them and make sure... it never hurt to be too cautious, she told herself.

No reason to be enemies? She scoffed at him and steadied herself. His raise fists were enough to put her on edge, borderline wanting to attack him then and there. Machholz watched the man that had nearly killed her, sneering at him. In any other circumstances she would rather talk it out.

A name, how charming. "Machholz." God she wanted to punch his stupid face, wanted to kick him square in the stomach and take a blade to his skin, scar him the way she'd been scared. The white haired Senshi was tense, her own hands fisted tightly, shaking as she tried to control herself from attacking him out right. Oh it was going to happens, she was going to make him pay. She wanted to squash him under her boot.

Would the name register? Vaguely, in the back of her head, she felt another signature, one similar to her own. Shifting a bit, she got into a fighting stance and then rushed him, wanting to take the first hit, wanting to get first blood. She threw a punch at his stomach, knowing better than to aim high right now.

"Machholz...?" Buddingtonite said the name and a memory stirred. A White Moon senshi, with white hair, on a cold night. Something transpired between them. A fight, most likely, as the glare she gave him was anything but friendly, and just like that, the name clicked. Her face came to mind, and had he not been taken back by the sight of the black on her uniform and the different aura she let off, he might have known to defend himself. "Oh, it's you! You changed uniforms- I hardly recognized you! How are you holding up in your new surroundings, my dear?"

No, definitely not the thing one should have said to someone they almost killed a few months ago. He knew nothing of her scars, the physical or the mental ones, nor how his actions may or may not have been a factor to her decision to join the Court. Not that it would have spared her, given his stance on the DMC recently, but there was no time for him to demonstrate this, as she rushed him, distracting him completely from the approaching Chaos aura and forcing himself back in an attempt to avoid that attack "Woah, now, don't act so hasty! We're somewhat allies, remember?"

That didn't spare him from the punch to the gut, nor did it spare him from the strike that came from behind, as he found himself sandwhiched between two Dark Mirror senshi. "Where the hell did YOU come from?!"

Canopus knew going into the fray that she'd be displeasing her Princess, but the moment she arrived on the scene, she held absolutely no regrets. That uniform, that demeanor- she had not run into that officer personally, but she remembered him all too well. He had worn a mask, but he could not disguise his voice nor that dark, venomous aura he carried. He was at the ambush, among those mercilessly attacking her fellow mirror senshi. He was one of the leading generals... and he DARED try to lure one of her comrades out and harm her?!

She knew nothing of their history and at this angle she couldn't see Machholz attacking him, so she rushed in as well. There were few times where Canopus would have wanted to hurt another being, but if it meant to protect her courtmate, she'd resort to such a dastardly tactic as striking him from behind. As Machholz's fist connected with his stomach, her foot connected against the back of his knees, sending him to the ground and allowing Canopus to see Machholz in full. "Are you alright? He didn't hurt you, did he?!"

"Allies? Hardly." She scoffed and turned to look at Canopus. Machholz's face was still hard, twisted into a snarl, practically as she recognized the other as another Dark Mirror senshi. One she didn't recognize. Any time else and Machholz would have been pretty excited about that, but sadly not at this point in time. She swallowed a bit and looked back at Buddingtonite before narrowing her eyes again.

"Right now? I'm fine, but he isn't going to get away unharmed. Not for what he's done to me before." Her eyes floated back to Canopus and gave her a wide grin. "Let's take him down once and for all."

With that, Machholz charged again, leaping into the air and turning in a kick that she hoped would connect with his head. She did not want him coming out alive.

It was easy to see the anger in Machholz's face and not once did Canopus blame her for it. What she assumed was that poor Machholz was one of her fellow Mirror senshi dragged into the ambush and this was one of the officers involved. She knew him to be involved in the set up, and whatever revenge Machholz had against this general was more than justified. She wouldn't deny her that...

But her desire to take him down once and for all... terrified her. She had no love for the Negaverse, nor would she ever again, not so long as there were others that held hatred in their hearts against her kind. But what Machholz implied, outright killing him? That horrified her! But Canopus couldn't blame her. Not in the least. Whatever he had done, her wrath was fully justified, she simply couldn't imagine herself laying such a blow on another being. Fighting in self defense was easy, but wasn't this murder? "I... okay, I'll try and help..."

That's all she could do. Was try. Maybe he'd force her hand and make it easier for both of them, or he would have been smart and tried to teleport away and spare her from having to make such a decision. Personally, that's what she hoped for, even as she charged at him once more.

This wasn't the most pleasant situation he found himself in, that was for sure, but it certainly could have been a whole lot worse, he told himself. He was still recovering from the strike from behind when Machholz aimed a kick at his head, and he tried to twist himself around to avoid it, though there was only so much he could have done. He wasn't quite as swift nor as flexible as he thought himself to be, as the boot slammed against his cheek and forced him back, and he just managed to catch himself before hitting the ground. Whatever he was going to say was kicked right out of his mouth, and realizing that words may not be able to save him from this predicament, he weighed his options mentally.

He could fight back and thus risk invoking Zinkenite's wrath for daring to strike down one of his precious Mirror senshi friends, or he could retreat and spare himself the headache. Had Machholz not kicked him in the face, he might have retreated, but the insult was too much for him to turn the other cheek for. Finally, he managed to speak, spitting at the ground in a very ungentlemanly manner and not bothering to look at it to see if there was blood in it or not, and he summoned his boomerang at his side. "Screw his orders... no one strikes my face and goes without one of their own!"

The other was trying to sneak up behind him but Buddingtonite wasn't going to fall for the same trick twice. He spun around and lashed out at her, the blade of his boomerang ripping into her clothing and digging in deep, hooking onto the fabric and he moved around to throw her at her fellow senshi. Zinkenite would be pissed if he found out... which likely meant he'd have to kill them both and any witnesses, but that was something he was willing to do.

Machholz was under no such orders. As far as she knew. Even so, the Senshi was in a blind rageright now and watching her foot connect to Buddingtonite's face was the highlight of her day. It didn't quench her blood thirst though. She wanted him to suffer. She'd sent him to the floor and those black lips grinned wide before realizing he didn't actually connect with it. Gold eyes narrowed as he spat on the ground.

The air changed between the three. It was static, tense, and now the smell of blood lingered in her nose, almost like it was trying to coax her. Something in er mind was slowly starting to snap. Into or out of place was up for debate, but it snapped and fed her desire for pain. Swallowing a bit, Machholz glanced to her fellow DMS, making sure the sneaking around was going to work. It seemed like it would until Buddingtonite caught on to the trick. Just as she moved forward to try to stop him from attacking, that's just what he did. He was quick, that bladed weapon dug into her fabric and now the other DMS was being flung at her.

With at startled noise, Machholz caught the other girl. Canopus hit Machholz with a thud, Machholz fell back on her a**, and she cradled the girl against her. "Hey! Are you okay?" Was there blood? Was Canopus okay? She looked up at Buddingtonite, eyes full of hate and spite before slowly standing up, taking the other with her.

Retreating could be a good option. It killed her to even think about, but it could be a very valid option. What did she do now? She glanced back at the mirror before at Canopus and just took a deep breath. "What do I do?" she whispered to herself, swallowing thickly.

Once they had the threat taken care of, Canopus had a feeling she'd have to sit Machholz down and have a good, long talk with her. Like the nosy young lady that she was, she wanted to know what this man had done to her to make her so incredibly violent and bloodthirsty. At least she appeared that way, considering how meek and timid Canopus usually was. Now was neither the time nor place to be nosy, however, and while she lacked the same blind rage that her fellow Mirror senshi had, she was determined to keep her safe regardless. The sight of blood, even from an enemy, bothered her, but she held her ground and attacked, only to be thrown at Machholz. How did he even do that? She had no idea, but the attack left her dazed, and that was certainly not the best position to be in right now...

"I'm okay..." She didn't think she was bleeding and the only thing he managed to do was tear the cloth, thankfully, but she knew that he wouldn't have stopped there if given the chance. She understood that look in his eyes and she didn't like it at all. Had she turned around, she would have seen same expression on Machholz, and she followed after her, taking a protective stance in front of Maccholz and hoping that neither one would have noticed her much she trembled. Maybe Machholz did as she was pulling her along, and she didn't want to tell her fellow senshi that she had never taken a leadership role before... however, that didn't mean she was out of ideas. "Make your way to the mirror... I can slow him down and buy you some time."

Retreat wasn't honorable, but neither one of them were prepared for this kind of fight. Maybe if Chariklo had found her, but... she was not Chariklo. She was only Canopus, and she pointed her palm at the approaching General. "Canopus Stasis!"

There was just something completely satisfying about putting his opponents in their place, though he was hoping to inflict a little more damage. The fact that both young ladies were standing annoyed him, and any attempt to hide his anger and disgust was simply like pissing in the wind at this point, a worthless endeavor. He took the time to pluck the torn fabric from his weapon, not hearing Machholz's whisper or Canopus either as he chuckled bitterly. "You know I was going to apologize for my actions against you, but I think we're beyond such things now, aren't we? I could be a forgiving man, but double teaming me like that? Unforgivable..."

The one with the short hair had shouted something and he looked up, seeing the bright orange ball flying towards him but too distracted to try and dodge. "Can-o-what now?"

The attack hit him square in the chest, but there was no pain, despite his startled shout. He moved to brace himself, but the orange light that engulfed him was heavy, his movements slow... "What the hell is this? Molasses? Are you a senshi of Molasses!?"

Apologize for almost killing her? Because that's just absolutely the thing to do. Oh sorry for trying to murder you, just doing my job. Bullshit. Machholz snorted hard and just glared at him as he basically writhed in anger.

The senshi of Poison would love to keep the battle going, to pummel his face in, but she'd dragged someone completely innocent into the mix and that didn't sit well with her. She still had morals. Retreating wasn't a good thing, but it did mean both girls would live another day and their already small faction wouldn't get any smaller. That's something neither of them wanted, she was sure. Despite Machholz not even meeting Canopus till tonight, she had a feeling it was a common feeling between all Dark Mirror members.

Swallowing a bit as she watched Canopus work her magic, Machholz took her advice. Mentally, she was amazed at Canopus's magic, and what it did. It was quite the useful skill! Slowed them down. She would have to team up with her for a full fledged attack some time. ...One they knew they could win. However, instead of going alone, she grabbed hold of the other girls' hand and dragged her along. "Both or neither," she called back. After this Canopus could ask all the questions she wanted, but Machholz was out of here. They both were. With a ripple, the girls were engulfed in the mirror, back into mirror space, the safety that was Machholz's home, pretty much.

It wasn't as though Canopus had any plans of lingering behind and fighting the good fight against this opponent. Though she was stronger and she had grown since that fateful night in the warehouse, she wasn't going to delude herself into thinking she could ever face off against this beast. She had every intention of fleeing, but it seemed that her ally wasn't willing to take the chance. She felt herself being pulled along and once she calmed herself, she ran with Machholz, right into the mirror, without a word to the Negaverse general. Would things ever get better between the Negaverse and the Dark Mirror Court?

So long as officers like this still existed? The answer might always be 'no'...

It was like he was wading through a river of super thick molasses, and while the mental image would have normally made the confectioner grin and think of the many ways to capitalize on this, the sight of the two Mirror senshi fleeing only invoked anger and fear within him. He tried to teleport his way towards the mirror they fled into, but even that was hampered He just couldn't move with this orange armor of light on him! "Sonofabitch... you two better run, because if I ever get my hands on you, EITHER of you, I'll pluck your starseeds and juggle them before I crush them underfoot!"

Not that his threats meant anything now. They were gone and unless they heard him through mirror space or whatever world they entered when they traversed through the mirror, his words were destined to fall on deaf ears. As were most of his threats, it seemed. His anger was short lived, or at least short lived when compared to the magic he was under, and he let out an annoyed sigh. "Great... why do I have a feeling that this will come back to haunt me some day?"

Because it will. Be ready for another mark.

He quivered, and finally the spell seemed to wear off, freeing Buddingtonite though it was far too late to give chase. Not that he was willing to. He was done for the night... whatever repercussions that'd come from this, he'd deal with after a few drinks. This throbbing in his head needed to stop... and alcohol was the greatest of suppressants.

Machholz took a deep breath once they were inside the mirror and just groaned mentally. This wasn't good at all, was it? She turned to the other girl, brows knit and put her hands on Canopus's shoulders. "I'm so sorry you got wrapped up in that. Are you OK? I... His ..I know how sharp his weapon is.." So she went to see that tattered fuku and was glad to see there wasn't any blood. She knew Buddingtonite was her enemy but now she'd made Canopus an enemy by accident, and one that was out for revenge. Running a hand through her own hair the white haired senshi just fanned herself and sighed.

"I.. suppose you'll want an exp-" And then Buddingtonite's words echoed through and her brows knit hard. Crap. Oh he was mad.

Even though they were safe in Mirrorspace, Machholz just took a few steps deeper. "...I owe you an explanation and possibly a drink. ...Do you want to do this now or should we wait until we're both... uhm.. not worked up?" Machholz herself was still really tense and shaking slightly because she was mad, mainly at herself at this point.

Mirrorspace... it was a safe haven here for the both of them, and though she could still hearing the general shouting at them, she made a point to put some distance between herself and the mirror that they had fled into. He couldn't follow them here, she told herself. They were safe.

She looked to the senshi that she had fled through the mirror with, and though she was apologizing, she could only smile to see that her fellow court mate was well enough to be apologizing! "I'm alright... I think I am. I don't don't he actually cut me..."

Canopus twisted around to check, then pat herself on the small of her back where her bow was, but there was no sign of blood. Only torn fabric that would be repaired the moment she powered up again. A worthy sacrifice compared to what Machholz had probably endured at this b*****d's hands, she told herself, but thankfully, neither one looked like they were in need of a visit to the hospital. Her offer sounded tempting, but Canopus was too jittery to really indulge in either.

"Let's get out of here and someplace safe, some place away from him. Come on, you can come with me to my dorm... we'll be alone there." She motioned for Machholz to follow her, knowing that the sisters might not have approved of company though certain that'd only be a problem if they got caught. "Come on..."
