About Me My name is Strawberry Requiem, or Berry, for short. I'm a twenty-something who's been roleplaying for 10+ years. I currently work the overnight shift at a pet boarding facility, which means that my active hours can be pretty weird at times. What I'm Interested In I really have a taste for something Vampire-themed. I'm looking to do something along the lines of Anne Rice's mythology for Vampires (more 'Interview with a Vampire', less 'Queen of the Damned'). I really like the idea of doing a period piece, most likely in the late 18th century into the 19th century, and dealing with Vampire politics as well as the daily struggles they face in their existence. I have a few small stipulations, however: * If there is to be romance, it must remain as a side/background plot and happens at a believable pace. * No Twilight vampires, please. I don't care if you like Twilight, I just want to go in a different direction. * I play a female vampire. * The roleplay is literate to adv. literate. Anyway, if you're interested, leave a comment or PM if you're interested so we can flesh out the idea a little more. Have writing samples prepared in the event that I ask for one. I'll have one prepared in case you decide to ask for one as well.

Strawberry Requiem Thanks for Stopping in.Hello, my name is Strawberry Requiem, but you can call me Berry. I've been roleplaying for somewhere around 10-11 years, which means I'm an old lady on the internet.
This isn't a dating profile, so I'm just going to get right to it.
I'm looking for a literate to advanced literate roleplayer interested in doing a long-term roleplay. I'm not some grammar/spelling Nazi, so I'm not looking for perfection, just someone who contributes a couple of well-written paragraphs that help move along plot. I'm also not some truant officer and will demand that you're on constantly. A few posts a week will keep me going. Just let me know if you're not going to be around for a few days or more so I don't think you got hit by a bus or something equally as morbid.
Romance is not my main concern when roleplaying, so if you're looking for super cuddly fluffy marshmallow snuggles, I'm not for you. I'm completely comfortable with platonic relationships. That's not to say that I hate romance; I'm a sucker for a good romance every now and then, I just feel like it should take a back seat to the main plot. I don't like to plan for romance because the characters aren't always compatible together. Also, I'm not big into m/m and f/f. I can be persuaded into such things for a plot where it would work, but I don't believe in forcing it.
I do play males sometimes, but I'm not going to play your Prince Charming 'only there to fulfill your fantasy' guy. I'd rather like to find a partner who will play both genders because I do like to play females sometimes and I'm not here to just play the token character with a p***s (this happens a lot and I become sad). We don't have to double up, but it is something that I'd be willing to do so we can meet each other halfway and both get something we want out of the roleplay. That said, we don't need to play characters of different genders, especially if we're doing something without any romance/platonic relationships.
I will not roleplay off-site. Sorry. I will roleplay within this group, in Barton Town, in PMs, or in a private guild that we make for the roleplay. But, not off-site. Also, I'm looking for 1x1's, not groups. Again, sorry.

*Sirens (Look them up, people. They aren't mermaids)

I was thinking of a Succubus x Split Personality as it's still currently in development still as I did it in the past but it was always tweaked. _____ was always a special child as he enjoyed hunting and killing things when he was a small 8 year old. He was in a fight at school one day and he broke the kid's arm. The thrill gave him a rush he never felt before as hurting people, hearing there cries, and there face gave him such a rush. His parents sent him to a place that could help him. he's been in there for 4 years as he has turned to a normal boy suppressing the other half of himself. At the age of 16 he's beginning to slowly succumb to his other half seeing things that aren't there and also a Succubus as he can't tell what's real and what is fake. Will this Succubus pull off his mask and show the world his true face or will he suppress himself once again.

I was hoping for something more closely related to succubus mythology. I'm not sure how familiar you are with succubus mythology, so please don't take offense in me explaining it in-depth if you're already familiar with them: A succubus is a demon, and the female equivalent of the incubus. They were believed to come to men while they were sleeping to seduce them and coerce them into having sex with them. People thought them to be shape-shifters, and would come to them in the form of beautiful women or women that they have lusted for but could not have. They did this, supposedly, to become pregnant with half-demon children that would one serve the Devil. Many women were accused of being succubi during the witch trials of Europe and North America because men were unfaithful to their wives and were caught, so they accused their mistresses of being demons and witches. Going off of your idea, the man is perhaps married/engaged/in a serious relationship with another person when he begins having visions or dreams of the succubus. Since she's a demon, she'd probably try to goad him into doing all sorts of terrible things to appease her master (not necessarily the Devil to avoid religious implications).

That sounds about right i'm sorry for not understanding. We can have the man be in a relationship as to keep things accurate and lets avoid religious implications as I had a big problem about that in a guild and had to leave cause of it.

No worries. I'm a knowledge junkie and did some extensive research into succubus/incubus mythology for something else a couple years ago. I don't like to plan too much, so unless you have something else you'd like to add, I'll probably go set a character skeleton up. But, I haven't been feeling too well today, so I'll probably have it to you sometime tomorrow or the next day.

I managed to finish her up. But, I have a question involving how we're going to go about this roleplay. Do you have any preferences as to where we do this rolaplay? I'm flexible as long as it's on-site. I'm horrible at remembering to log on to IM messengers and other websites that aren't apart of my usual routine.

I only RP on this site as it's difficult to RP on others as I know how that feels. We can RP in private messaging if you like or in forums.
