Blues desperately wanted to go outside, but...he really had no -reason- to go outside today. It wasn't that such a thing had ever stopped him before, but with recent events he tried to keep his wandering confined to the Tower itself for the time being. Eventually he'd go back to wandering around the City, once things fully calmed down. The others still worried about him, after all.

For now though he could get a taste of outside and the freedom it brought by heading up to the Tower roof. It wasn't a place that many bots frequented, or at least he never really ran into anyone up there. Blues figured he'd be left alone for a while, leaving him with time to think and just...relax.

Blues had found a perch on top of a large box structure with a fan in it. He figured it was one of the AC units, or..climate control, whatever. Honestly he had no idea what it was, but it was a nice perch and it offered a mindless hum that drowned out the other noises of the City that managed to make their way up here.

He may have also chosen this perch because it allowed the wind to blow through his scarf, the fabric flapping behind him a bit. It felt nice blowing through his hair as well. He had chosen to come up here in casual clothes, the shield on his back the only part of his 'uniform' he had decided to wear. Really, how much trouble could he get into just sitting on the Tower roof?

Terra had been, well, aimlessly traveling about the Tower. His cat was avoiding him, and he could not find the star.Well, whatever, it gave him the chance to explore the tower in more depth. So forgoing his armor, and settling for the jeans and shirt (and hair tie) that Pluto had kindly bought him, Terra was now studying the tower, looking for potential weak spots. Because seriously, these earthlings couldn't fortify a building against an internal offense to save their lives.

Lucky Terra wasn't planning to save them.

Eventually, after none to gently trying to open the door to Wilys laboratory, Terra came to...the roof? Ah, this actually felt nice, probably because this was one of Terra's many ideal environments. He looked around, noticing it seemed a bit vacant, perhaps he could covertly communicate with Sunstar here? Well, it seemed like a good place, until he saw his 'favorite little speck. "Trash, planning to jump?"

Even the steady hum of the machine couldn't drown out the noise of someone else making their way to the roof. Blues frowned a bit and readied himself for interaction with whoever had decided today, of all days, was a good time to come up here.

Seriously, he just wanted some alone time. As usual...

When he turned his gaze to see just -who- it was...the frown only deepened. Fantastic. He would have rather seen Wily himself than this a*****e.

Blues pinned his ears back and averted his gaze back to the skyline. Maybe if he just -ignored- the green haired idiot he'd go away. Or simply not notice the General up here. That'd be -grand-.

He inched his way along the climate control unit as well, trying to put more distance between himself and Terra.

Sonofa.
Just continue to ignore him Blues. Don't..friggin...respond.

Did the other seriously think that would make Terra leave? Or exercise his knowledge of personal boundaries? Nope. Terra continued to walk over, eventually coming to stand in front of the sitting bot, if only the other weren't on top of a box. Meh, Terra was feeling very generous today, he wouldn't smack the box from under the other, maybe. "Refusing to respond? Did they remove your voice box during the kidnapping, little damsel?" He asked, then continued as if he wasn't really talking to anyone. "No, i'm pretty sure I heard you speak, after such an event, what a shame, I'd have been better off without that voice."

Blues was a calm bot. He usually held his emotions in check fairly well, at least while in front of others. The general tried -extremely hard- to not get upset, or let others see things were bothering him.

But all of his calmness usually went right out the window when Terra was involved.

He let a growl slip before getting himself back in check. Behind his sunglasses his eyes were narrowed, the frown very apparent on his face.

"My name is General Proto. Or Blues. You would do well to remember that Terra..no matter what influence you seem to think you have over your kind when you are here at the Tower you are under my command. In case you fail to understand what that means let me explain it to you. You follow -my- orders. You also follow General Forte's orders. You will also give both of us the respect our ranks deserve. Understand?"

Terra, not generally being one for being told what to do, responded in kind. Giving off the illusion of increased height, by standing a bit straighter. "I will only do so if the other earns my respect, so far, only the finned one is even remotely close, you have proven to be useless, allowing yourself to be captured and injured by lowly mortal beings. And I will do as I please with my own comrades, he is mine after all, and the others too." But not Sunstar he would say, that was more his equal. He thought aout picking the tinier one up, to show a point. "Maybe, if you were to prove yourself, I might respect, might call you 'general' as well,"

He didn't seem at all impressed by Terra and his increased height. Blues was fairly used to others being taller than him, and it didn't seem to bother him too much. He didn't need height to be formidable, and if Terra relied on that to be frightening well....that was Terra's loss.

...It was slightly discomforting however, to have the Stardroid looming right over him. But Blues didn't show any outward signs of distress.

"His name, is Forte. Or Bass. It is not finned one, though apparently your memory banks are too dusty from misuse to remember simple names."

Blues growled a bit as the other called him useless, but his fur really started to bristle at the mention of Terra's comrades.

"I am not useless, and the events leading up to my capture involved running on nearly no energy due to having to cover shifts. Including yours Terra, since you seem so intent on being rather useless when it comes to Tower jobs."

Yes...he was definitely getting riled up the more he went on.

"You use the word comrade, and in the same sentence you claim ownership. You do not own them Terra. They are free to make their own choices, and I can only hope Pluto's choices lead to realizing what a terrible leader you are."

But, for now he was done talking. Blues had been shifting around a bit, choosing to stand up on the box he had previously been sitting on. Was it to even out the height difference between the bots?

Nah, it was to get enough room to quickly remove his shield from his back and swing it hard at the other's face.

Forte hm? Terra would remember that. At the mention f Pluto, his own subordinate questioning him, possibly leaving his ranks, Terra snapped, grabbing Blues by the neck. "You will not tell me what to do, little trash man." He tightened his hold and raised his arm up, lifting Blues off his sitting place, he shook the smaller bot. "I will call others the name I want, and I will not listen to broken down garbage parts like you." He growled the last words out, his mood devolving into righteous anger. Who was this earthen made bot to tell him how to do his job? How to take care of his subordinates?

Well s**t.

That hit had done...absolutely nothing at all. Well, minus earning Blues a hand around his throat and a trip into the air. The smaller bot was suddenly quite thankful for his scarf, as it managed to cushion the throat grabbing..at least a bit. Terra's grip tightened around his throat and he could feel it starting to constrict his voicebox. Not good.

Maybe picking a fight with Terra hadn't been the wisest of choices, but Blues was -still- going to remain as calm as he could. You know..while being shaken around like a rag doll.

"I will tell you what to do...here I am your -general-, as I already explained. And no, you will NOT treat the others as you wish. You will respect them while you are under my command. If you don't like it, you can <******** off and leave this place. Pluto can stay where he is appreciated."

He needed down. Now. But without giving Terra the satisfaction of knowing he had the other freaked out.

"Put me down. Now."
Blues voice had slipped further from a natural sounding voice, and more into mechanical sounding. It was a sign that he was in distress (or angry, at least). One he, unfortunately, couldn't control. The General pinned his ears back, a sneer on his face as he stared down the other behind his glasses.

"I don't think I will. And he is valuable to me, and will be a waste here if he continues, I have discussed this with him." Of course, he did still have Pluto's arm as leverage. "And I will respect them, general, if they earn it." He further tightened his grip. It seemed a bit of a lesson was in order. "But listen here," He moved himself and Blues to be standing facing the city, dangling Blues over the towers edge. "I will not have you questioning me, making yourself out to be of higher ranking, to me, " He shook the smaller audio, his grip loosening just a bit. " And I will not have useless broken junk telling me what to do!"

Oh well...this was a fantastic view of the City. Blues tried to talk back to Terra but his first attempt earned only a distressed screech from his voicebox. s**t.

Blues forced a growl from himself as the other shook him, shutting his eyes behind his sunglasses to block out the shaking view. Oh, but then Terra had the nerve to call him junk yet again, and Blues had had quite -enough- of this disrespectful a*****e.

"I. AM NOT. JUNK."
The words were forced, strain on his vocal units quite evident. Still, it was important he set the other straight. Blues snarled, the noise much easier to get out than the words. Thankfully he still had a grip on his shield...and thankfully it was a rocket shield.

The General kept a firm grip on his shield and activated the rocket booster. It was usually used to fly off on...but today it was going to be used to try and drag Terra around. Yes, he was on the edge of the Tower, and yes the other curently had him gripped around the -throat-. But with any luck Terra would panic at the sudden move and let him go.

...Or this could be one -very- interesting ride.

He didn't register they were flying at first, more focused on the glee he felt at ruining Blues voice box, but then the sensation of his feet leaving the ground below hit him. And he was surprised, yes, and let go a little, but his hold was still firm. He was shocked though, the jun--Blues, actually surprised him.

Well, his opinion of the tiny bot did go up a bit, just a bit. That and he was beginning to run out of names without having to consult that damned earth thesaurus and dictionary.

Well well well, it looked like Terra -could- learn something. Or, at least, it was possible for Blues to earn his respect. This is something the General would have been amused to know, had he currently held the ability to be amused.

But, with Terra still latched to his throat and the other's full weight now tugging on it well...this wasn't going quite as planned. Blues stopped trying to speak, not wanting to let Terra hear any more of the distress that was evident.

Instead he masterfully maneuvered his rocket-shield, aiming to slam Terra against the walls of the Tower as hard as he possibly could.

Terra was pleased, a good view and this little bot had finally taken him by surprise! He'd have to call that the highlight of the last few days! Well, until he felt the other shift the shield. What did he have planned now?

What did he have planned? Oh, you will just simply LOVE that Terra. Blues figured the space bot needed to become better acquainted with their Tower. And what better way than being forcibly slammed into the side of it?

And that is precisely what Blues did. He positioned himself so Terra would slam into the wall and not -him, and then he rammed the other straight into the building.

He kept the rocket booster going, hoping to pin Terra there long enough so he could reach up and pry the other one off of his neck.
