ɢᴇɴᴇʀᴀʟ ғᴇᴀᴛᴜʀᴇs ﹕﹕ Odelia has always been a fairly tiny girl for her age. Born prematurely, Odelia weighed a little over a quarter of a stone which worried the doctors, and while now she is healthy and thriving Odelia is virtually always seen as the pipsqueak in her group of friends, regardless of who she is with. Her physique will seldom change as she grows and develops - naturally thin and small-boned, Odelia has an almost fragile look to her that will transcend into adulthood, but as with most cases looks can be deceiving.
Perhaps the most striking feature on Odelia would arguably be her full lips and her flawless sun kissed skin, which sets her apart from most other girls of her age group and make it easy to pick her out from crowds. Her eyes, though naturally green, tend to have a sort of hazel tinge to it depending on the lighting. As far as her hair goes, Odelia will keep it long and keep it down in most cases. Where her style is concerned, Odelia is trying to develop her own sense of fashion and in her earlier years she will end up choosing the more casual and comfortable attire, but as she matures and understands her body and her curves a little more she will begin to explore different facets of fashion. At the end of the day, however, Odelia will always choose muggle fashion.
ᴘᴇʀsᴏɴᴀʟɪᴛʏ ﹕﹕ Raised on the ideal that money is power and power is everything, it would come to surprise most for those who actually do manage to meet the heiress to the Darlington fortune. At first glance, Odelia may seem spoiled rotten, the bratty type that everyone loves to hate, the egotistical girl who surrounds herself with superficial friends. While this may not necessarily be untrue, those that are most perceptive would come to see that Odelia is far from happy. That being said, being bold and ruthless with a viper's tongue does little to help in that department.
Perhaps the one most important thing Odelia has taken from her upbringing is that they live in a cut throat world. She grew up on the principle of being ambitious, and fighting to stay on top, whether it be highest grades or best something. Not above looking down on others who are less successful, this can be attributed to the fact that Odelia was taught the only thing holding her back from success is herself - this particular teaching has fostered a strong, almost impenetrable will in the girl. At times Odelia may not be aware that she hurting the feelings of others, and at other times she just plain doesn't care, beckoning to her slightly egotistical self-serving side.
With her strong will comes a sense of hardheadedness: it takes a boundless amount of energy and effort to sway her opinions or tell her not to do something when she already has her mind set. Paired with her intense passion and ambitious nature, this makes it almost dangerous to be associated with Odelia at all, given that she is often more than willing to put it all on the line to prove her point if she really had to.

- xxxOdelia was born into the illustrious and aristocratic Darlington family as the sole daughter of Elijah and Venera Darlington. She is of mixed ancestry with a lineage that can be traced throughout most, if not all of Europe on both of her parents' sides, but Odelia was raised in the United Kingdom on the family estate. Born prematurely, Odelia weighed only a little over 3bs, but with the help of modern medicine she to grew into a healthy little girl. Though smaller than most of the children in her age group, that never stopped Odelia from enjoying life, which was all her parents ever had wanted for her.
xxxShe was deeply loved by her family. Loved to the point of being spoiled constantly, in fact. Whatever she wanted, her parents would get for her with no questions asked, but on one condition: she was to be a good little girl and always listen to her parents. It was a life that any child would have wanted, really, but an unfulfilling one. To her it felt empty, artificial, and while she couldn’t quite understand it as a kid, Odelia never really felt home. Her parents, though they were trying as best they could, were terrible at parenting, and while she grew up to become a fairly normal child Odelia had managed to pick up a lot of their bad habits and traits.
xxxFollowing the arrival of Odelia’s invitation to attend Hogwarts, it was quite a shock for the entire family who had barely known of the existence of wizards and witches beyond pop-culture and stereotypes, yet they were prepared to send Odelia away if it was necessary due to the fact that Odelia, from a very young age, was sent around the continent to attended prestigious boarding schools. Despite this, Odelia is still fairly nervous and somewhat excited to be in a newer setting, but is afraid of what is to come of this ‘new lifestyle’ that she has to live.
