FATE/Zero
This anime is in a nut shell amazing and infuriating all in one. At first it seemed to run really slow, but the second season started killing off the contestants fast. People that seemed dead were not. The ending doesn't fulfill anything. It has no point. For an anime that made excellent characters, an epic plot and a wonderful bound of potential for such a terrible and stupid ending I am still so speechless. Not cool.
DX Saber! Saber is my favourite out of all seven. And Rider. He was so awesome.

I like Zero a lot better than Stay Night honestly both for novels and anime.
Characters are more likable and can actually invoke emotion, I actually like Saber more, and hate Gilgamesh more which is always a good thing, I actually had a master I could route for, and I'll be damned if the music wasn't fantastic.
Ending wasn't all that bad for me since I knew it was going to happen, it sort of had to happen..nothing could feel compete or Stay Night would feel a little weird now.
It just happen to wish that the fights were a little better defined like they were in the novels, but eh, you do what you can...they were still great though.

asbloodrunscold I like Zero a lot better than Stay Night honestly both for novels and anime. I hated Archer too. I noticed he didn't use any archery at all. He was just too overpowered in the get-go. I loved Lancer, Rider and Saber. I felt like Berserkers master was screwed from the get-go. He just got the crappy end of the stick. I mean right from the beginning you know he's done for. And he had good motives too.

That fact did confuse me for a moment, and remained so..the explanation we got was "BECAUSE SHUT UP!" from Type Moon. In Fate / Prototype which is what Stay Night would have been if it wasn't standard Japanese practice to add porn [I'm serious] to the VN actually has a Gilgamesh which is accurate...kind of. His weapon is actually more accurate to Gilgamesh from the epic, his armor is more representative of the time, and of course his attitude is more correct as if his power. Actually he is overpowered in Zero and in lore, but he is actually quite possibly one of the weakest servants there is, he only ever wins because of plot induced idiocy and weaknesses. I felt sorry for Kariya, he was a cool guy, a good person and he probably had it worse than almost any of the casts except for the girl he was trying to save, who if you know her actual back story...is depressing on every level which only makes it hurt more to know what he could have saved her from. Oh when you are talking about characters that are dead that were not do you mean Aoi?

I meant like Aoi, The doll wife and her kid, the grail somehow survives Sabers slice, And the priest son is shown as being shot in the back from a magic resistant bullet.
Kariya and the little girl have a terrible story. I mean. They are screwed. The both of them. I'm surprised that Kariya was so badly effected by the worms and she looked like it didn't even bother her.
I will have to watch that version. I will probably like it better than Fate/Zero. Not that I didn't like it, but I was so furious at the ending. OMG. It didn't explain anything.

Yeha the bullet thing is weird, but pretty much no matter how many times they try to destroy the grail it never...seems to stop messing with things really. Its weird. Well she was brainwashed, she didn't really have a choice about it..though from what we know, she would have been devastated. Kariya was weak so it made sense for the worms to basically destroy him, but stilll...damn. Oh Prototype isn't an actual anime unfortunately. There have been teasers and the like, but pretty much all the info on it is out but there is the light novel Fate/Prototype: Fragments of Blue and Silver which is probably the closest we will get unless someone decides to throw a lot of money at them for it, there is also a twelve minute video that goes into detail on what it would have been if they had simply ignored some of our urges.
