Welcome! This is the contest of the ever lovely breeding No Beauty. Up for grabs is the darling Buck Two- the only son of the litter! Surrounded by such gorgeous girls, he's in a rather unique situation.

So tell us about him!


No Other is the father. He likes pretty things and is a romantic.


Boundless in Beauty is the mother. If there's a kin in the swamp bitchier than her, it's a terrifying prospect. She has no regard for ugly things and thinks they need to be destroyed- the more like her something is, the most beautiful. She loves her babies in her own... special way, switching between pushing them to be the best and coddling them beyond reason. They are *her* babies, after all.

His sisters names are Waltz of the Damned, Sugar Rush, Sweet Memories, and Oath to Order. There is a naming theme here- bonus points if you can figure it out!

Name: Daydream Believer

Personality Blurb: Surprisingly, he doesn't mind if his sisters push him around a bit. He won't let it go too far, though. He is protective of his sisters and feels that they are the prettiest does in the swamp. Woe be to the buck that breaks their hearts. He is slightly vain as well, being raised to believe he is just as pretty and, thus, has high standards in does.

Something Beautiful: I picked this because it is pretty bioluminescent water. I hope to go here one day to swim in it at night.

Name: A Million Ways
Personality Blurb: Million has a very high opinion of himself and a charming personality, playing up his beauty very well. Much like his parents, he has a love of beauty, but he will only associate with beautiful things and toy with or outright ignore what he considers ugly. He has a cruel streak and will often toy with bucks or does, bringing them with sweet words and his charm only to take them down with backhanded statements. He quite likes his siblings and family, as they are beautiful, and will probably be a little protective over his sisters. Only the best will do for them, after all they are absolutely gorgeous.

Name: Dive into the Heart
Personality Blurb: He is, in all honesty, a nutcase. An adorable nutcase with a manic passion for beauty. Like his mother and father, he has an obsession for the sublime. But, unlike his mother, he has a much gentler approach to anything deemed "ugly." Rather than instantly throwing it away, he'll instead mollycoddle his new found project until it reaches perfection.
Something Beautiful: [x] - there's just something so entrancing about the mountains.

Name: Want to be Close
Personality Blurb: Emotionally, he's a bit conflicted; judgmental to a near fault, but highly interested in so many things nonetheless, he has a difficult time finding a balance between the nature of his family (and thus, in part, himself) and the simple fact that the world is full of fascinating characters who don't quite meet the expected 'standards.' He's unsure just yet what his own true definition of beauty is, instead relying heavily on the opinions and reactions of his family. Still, it's safe to say that he's unafraid to speak his mind, for better or worse, and will usually side with a family member before a total stranger. It's this, among other things, that often finds him in the company of less intelligent animals before other kin. Despite a subconscious urge to experience connections beyond the skin deep, he's forced to make less disconcerting decisions that way, and can still seek the external beauty he cannot resist.
Something Beautiful: Birds - Chosen because watching birds (along with butterflies and fish) is a favored pastime for Close. Besides that, birds in flight have a natural and elegant beauty all their own, and when you mix that with the eye-catching feathers that some of them possess, you get a great combination.

Name: Spun In Clouds
Personality Blurb: He is a family guy. He loves his family above all else. After all, they are the most beautiful kin to be found. He has great pride in them and should he ever get into a fight with his siblings or even his mother, he tends to feel really guilty and horrible about it. Anything ugly, he will try to avoid. In some ways, he can be rude to those he doesn't know especially if he doesn't think they measure up to his standards of beauty. This is probably because he is actually a little anti-social. He's only really comfortable around his relatives. It would definitely take a special kin to really connect with him and get him out of his clouds.
Something Beautiful: This because it's just so gorgeous. Look at the color of that water! And the sheer cliffs covered in all that green life! It's like paradise.

Name: Ever Dashing
Personality Blurb: He is a air-headed sweetie. Dash is devoted to his sisters and very protective of them but since he's not the sharpest knife in the drawer, it's more likely that they probably look out for him. He's gullible and kind, but often times clueless that his honesty may come off as hurtful to those who don't know him. Dash is eager to make friends and hopefully those who get to know him will realize he is harmless.
Something Beautiful: Something Lovely about the rain. This family would be lovely romping through glistening grass during a rainshower. (Also this movie is amazingly animated and gorgeous)

Name: A Very Small Wish
Personality Blurb: Wish is a buck who sees beauty in everyone but himself. Surrounded by the harsh judgement of his family, Wish has come to believe that any complement is a polite lie. He is proper and elegant in all that he does, showering you in compliments while gently declining any offered to him. He envies his family's confidence, their vanity and self-worth. But he is not like them, no, not at all. They are stars that shine more vibrant than any other, while he is nothing more than a pearl in comparison; just a dark impurity, coated agian and agian in false compliments and high expectations, left to gleam dully in the light of everyone else's beauty.
Something Beautiful: This seems like the perfect place for him to run and hide from the lies and false smiles of everyone around him.

Name: Those Who Are Shining
Personality Blurb: He's calm, loyal, and devoted. Shine dotes on his sisters and mother, freely showering them all in compliments. It takes a lot of get a rise out of him, when tempers rise and harsh words are said he's the one trying to diffuse the situation. Even when he does get upset, the result is usually just a frustrated snort and a long walk by himself to cool off. Much like his parents, he also has a love of beautiful things. He just happens to find beauty in practically everything. And while he holds great respect for his family's opinions on what they define as beautiful, Shine doesn't let that stop him from finding beauty in the things that might fall outside of their spectrum.
Something Beautiful: A bog garden full of beautiful plants for Shine to admire. Also pitcher plants have the cutest flowers sob

Name: Wild Light
Personality Blurb: A beautiful boy with a lust for all things bright and shining -- with some dark tendencies. He can be a bit dramatic, but he simply doesn't see himself fitting in as well with his family as he'd like to. He hungers to feel about himself the way his family does, but he just doesn't see what they see in him. He feels the urge, more than anything, to go out into the world and find a type of beauty that he can't see in himself, so that he can come back to his family and show it to them himself. He'll put off everything else in this pursuit, letting love and making his own family fall by the wayside, and run himself ragged -- before he finally discovers the importance of inner beauty over the external, something that all the mud in the swamp can sully.
Something Beautiful: Although many people would consider a magpie to be a common bird, loud and crass, when they spread their wings and take to the sky the hidden flash of beautiful gold and green and blue in their feathers is absolutely glorious!

Personality Blurb: Can You Recite The Dream is a hopeless romantic and dreamer, he spends most of his days either looking at his pretty collection of things that are beautiful or dreaming of stories of roman between him and a beautiful other. He greatly appreciates the beauty of each of his sisters, but dealing with them is another story that he would particularly rather avoid. Can You Recite The Dream prefers only to be surrounded by things of beauty much like his mother however he would also rather avoid ugly situations, if he finds someone unpleasant and or having to look at something unpleasant he would much rather leave and find something better. There is no reason to deal with ugly things.
Something Beautiful: Fragonard The Swing The Rococo Age of art is really beautiful and full of elegance and exquisite in taste which reminds me of this family and The Swing is the most well-known painting<3
