Fate stumbled around the outside of the city covered in dirt and filth, following a voice with his little ears picking up most every note he sat on a stump and started to think when was the last time he was in a town or.... saw another person he pouted but he thought for a long moment about the few people he did get to know, and like and pouted he looked up and saw the sun blurred through the mist then back thinking he should follow his sent back home, but then again his ears perked again at the song and stood up again, thinking the voice would lead him somewhere that he'd at least get to meet another kind person. his tail swayed through the dirt and his eyes danced across the city looking for where he should start looking before any more monsters chose to chase him down once again.

It was an endless walk, at least that was how it felt for her little sore paws. The small jagged objects on the ground acted like tiny blades every now and then, had it not been for her serenitian healing, she would be in pretty bad shape. Aiko was lost for such a long period of time in the ruins, she had forgotten even when she accidentally stumbled upon it, well, maybe not accidentally, she was a curious little serenitian demon. It was that curiosity that always got her into some form of trouble, and with her mother missing, well, there was really very little rules to follow.
The small pink lioness cub batted at a metal pipe on the ground, which clanked against another object before rolling away, this creating a good deal of sound in the process. "I don't like it here no more...." She said in her mind, pouting softly which came off as a slight whimper. She really wanted to go home, to the forest, to serenity kingdom, ether one! Just not here. It was not only dangerous, but creepy even more. She could swear there were monsters here watching her. Though, suddenly, Aiko's ears perked up atop her head, as she quickly looked into the direction in which she thought she heard a quiet pouting. As she concentrated on it more, she detected a human-like scent, rather then monster or demon. With that, the little cub took off in a bolt, hoping she would find whom ever she had sensed, and even more so that this person would be friendly.

Fate's ears twitched and he looked towards the sound that echoed through the town and slowly started to walk that way. each step seamed like he was fighting his own body to move. he got close to a crushed wall filled with holes to hold himself up for a moment, he walked without looking at his footing and fell onto the ground dropping a little round bell from his pocket bouncing along every little rock. "Uhhh." fate said as he rolled to his side holding his head, his train of though was getting all mixed up, there was the... bell, the odd noise, and that song, he wasn't sure what one to look for. he slowly sat up and looked around, looking for the bell. he stood up moving slowly after it but it seamed to attract a little attention from a big round bird, it let out a crowing sound before it spread it's wing trying to scare the boy away, but that song, was stuck in his head, the words messing with his mind, his claws came out and he ran after it, as it tried to peck fate chose to claw it's face blinding it while it struck, his hand covered with blood, which he had to see before tears filled his eyes, but the bell was now gone from his thoughts.

From the sound of a jingling bell to the not so thrilling sound of an angry bird, Aiko's attention was quickly set on the large bird ahead. It's wing span was enough to give even her a good scare from getting any closer, but she also heard the sound of something else. Perhaps who ever owned the bell was fighting the bird? As she approached closer, she could barely make out the smaller figure, his hand was covered in blood as he apparently tried to defend himself with little luck. That thing looked as though it could take them both in it's beak or talons with little trouble. Aiko may of been young herself, and very unskilled but for her natural skills in each form she took, which was now her own claws and teeth. Without another thought, the small cub ran as fast as she could, leaping from one broken piece of structure to the other, anything she could to get her where she needed to be. Suddenly, she jumped off the last piece, only to land on the bird's back where she tried to dig her claws into it's flesh, and bite down onto it's neck.

Fate watched the bird collapsed under the... cats falling mass, he gathered his thoughts and let his claw out extending them to there length feeling the sting in his hand, wincing in the pain he went up to the bird as it was distracted and grasped the birds neck with both hands squeezing, and letting his claws cut through pieces of it's neck leaving holes in it's neck making it choke on it's own blood. Fate watched as the bird's movements came to an end. Looking to the cat he started to think, but.... the bell... the c-cat... the... the song... the song, the song. he shook his head looking confused at the cat, the smell... was... something he thought he knew but.... what was it really. he dropped down to his knees holding his hand, not even thinking of the blood, but the pain, it let him keep some of his thoughts there, but not all.

Aiko had only done just enough damage that would normally just scare something away with minor wounds, but never to kill. With this creature she wasn't even sure if it was a normal bird, or a monster. Ether way she didn't want to kill it completely, as if she could. It seemed, though, the bird wasn't quite so lucky today as it's life slowly came to it's end by Fate's actions, making the little pink furred lioness cub hop back down and land next to the foxy-eared boy. Naturally, she was more concerned for him.
Suddenly, there came a soft pink and white light that faded just as quickly as it came, only a faint golden shimmer was visible until that too faded. He might feel a warmth from the golden light though, this was a holy energy most serenitians had within them. When he looked at her again, he would see that there was no longer a little cub there, but a young pink haired girl instead. Aiko got down to her knees in front of the boy, gently trying to take hold of his injured hand which, like before he would feel that same gentle warmth flow into his hand and body as a healing wave flowed into him. "...Are you okay? " She asked him, hoping to snap him out of the daze he seemed to be in.

Fate watched the cats leap, and the look, that seamed to be disappointment from her eyes. the light made fate inch back a little it nearly made him blind, but it was a good shocker, letting his claws slide back into his fingers. the warmth... it let him shake a little of the song, but it was still there, "Umm..." his thoughts danced through his head again. his eyes opened just as she reached for his hand and it tensed up at first, but quickly he let it go under her control, but it was very shaky. The warmth started again, but this time it was everywhere, but extended from her hand. "Y... K...kiko?" the boy said trying to place his thoughts again not sure if it was her, or his mind going wild again. he grabbed his head thinking he was going crazy. his tail twisted up around his waist as if it were a belt. He took a deep breath, another, and another looking back at her wondering why his mind was doing this to him.

Aiko tried to smile, in attempt to calm the boys nerves a little. The shakiness in his hand made it that much more apparent that he was more frightened then she thought. "It's okay, I don't think the monster bird will be bothering you anymore. You should start to feel better soon..Is the healing working? " She asked him, glancing at his hand to see if it was healing. Some people were immune to certain types of heals, it was never guaranteed but just about every time it did work. Then came his sudden question.. "Ykiko? I'm Aiko Wolve..." The young girl tried to explain before returning her attention back to him. "I think were both lost in this creepy place, I haven't seen anymore humans or..well, anything but monsters since I've been here..Have you?" She didn't want to say anything about the voice she kept hearing in her head, as to not scare him anymore ththen he already was.

Fate looked at Akio once more. "I... no... n-know." the boy said still a quite shaken. his hand was getting better, since the boy was very susceptible to magic of most every kind. hearing her say her name fates ears twitched again "Kiko" he said again, always having a little trouble pronouncing her name. He looked up again, wondering about the song again, but it just echoed in his mind but it wasn't as loud, now that he had something to focus on. "nun-huh." he responded sniffing the air wanting to be sure she was really what she seemed to be, he could feel her, hear her, and even see her, the smell... well at least it was human... or what he thought it was. "I... wana go home." he mumbled, though the more she spoke to him the clearer his mind was getting.
Fate stood up slowly looking past the buildings where the birds body fell then back to where he thought he came from, but he couldn't find his own sent to get out of this place. slipping his hand into his pocket fate noticed something was missing, His eyes trailed along the ground till he saw something small and shiny, walking slowly he watched the bird closely, "S-stay." he whispered to himself as he squatted down to pick up the shiny little thing and a sigh left his mouth. He found his little bell and hid it back into his pocket. Before he had the chance to stand up a gust of wind blew shaking the birds feathers startling fate again he lashed out with a claw striking the big bird one last time. Breathing heavily he walked back to aiko. "We... go now?" he asked wanting to get away from the bird

Aiko thought for a moment, how would it be the best way to help him say her name? "Hmm..It's like saying I, and then just add Ko to it and it's Aiko." She grinned playfully as to try and keep him a little calmer by the cheerfulness she displayed. It may not be the best time to, but in this case for his sake it was. "Don't worry..! We will find our way out, I'm sure of it. " At this point, she was starting to notice something. Something familiar about this boy, did she meet him before? Kiko, he called her Kiko, and actually meant Aiko, boy, it seemed she was having herself a dull moment in her brain. The more she looked at him, the more it began to rush back to her. It had been a very long time sense she had seen him, so a little loss of memory there wasn't completely unusuall and with everything that has happened since, it was possible. "..Wait....your....Your Fate?! " Back in the past, these two didn't always get along, there was that baby chocobo she remembered now, and the fight between them in which her father broke up. Wow, that was a long time ago.
As all of this processed, she didn't realize he had stepped away to pick up the little bell he had dropped, her mind was so caught up into remembering everything. Only when he slashed at the bird did she snap back to reality. "I think that was just wind moving it's feathers.." She said softly, trying not to giggle as she then suddenly just grabbed him into a big, yet gentle enough hug. "I haven't seen you in sooooooooooooo long!! I'm so happy! I wondered where you've been...and I was starting to think I wouldn't see you ever again! " After a moment, Aiko let him go, but held onto his hand for the moment as she began to walk away from the bird with him. "Okay, let's try to find our way out together! "

Fate looked at her strangely again "I... ko?" the kitsune asked it was strange for him to really think on... most anything, but it was a good thing in this place, it helped block that seductive song that he just didn't seam to be able to resist on his own. It only took hearing his name to get his attention, he looked over his shoulder looking like a little kid begging for sweeties without saying a word. It felt like he was a baby the last time he heard his own name. but she was lost in lala land and he went back to his little thing.
When Aiko mentioned something about the bird fate got a little embarrassed blush, to think he was scared of a dead bird.... and she got to see it and fate didn't try to hide it, but it didn't help much when she hugged him, in fact it made his face a little brighter looking away from Aiko, but he still wrapped one arm around her. to think the last time he remembered seeing her.... wasn't all that.... good for ether of them, but so much had happened to him, he couldn't remember why they were fighting to begin with. "S-sorry kiko." fate said quietly as his thoughts became more coherent, but when she took his hand fates eyes kinda opened up a bit more, but it made him feel like the past was really behind them. "We go..." he started to speak as she started to walk, but for some reason fate was trying to take the lead, the song was still messing with his subconscious "... h-home now." he was trying to place his thoughts, since it felt like a life time since the last time he was there, trying to remember what it was like.

Aiko nodded, relieved he could say her name properly, it might be a little strange hearing him calling her Kiko around others and confusing them too! But then, after they hugged she heard that name pop up again, but she couldn't really say much. Aiko wasn't one to hurt peoples feelings. "Aiko. " She said with a little pat to his head in a playful manor. "I'll give you some time to get it, don't worry. " As they continued on, she noticed he seemed to be the one leading the way, rather then her as she was trying to do, not that she knew where to go anyway! She just kind of hoped. "Do you know where were going, Fate? "
