Every few months...
The Arch Magi of the Light Tribe overhears requests for colonization within their domain. Would be lords and their loyal followers travel the lands lit by the light to seek out one of the two ruling Arch Magus to offer their loyalty and gain the approval of the tribe to settle within their territory. The Arch Magi will weigh the plea against the substance of the proposed colony, the character of their ruler, and the devotion of the loyalists.
The Light tribe is primarily colonized within the Crystal Forests of the land. There is plenty of territory to colonize and some colonies may choose to remain in certain areas of the forest. In fact, this is encouraged. However, the arch Magi and their court are largely enveloped within the center of the tribe. Their capital is settled *** Talk with Kit ***.
The Arch Magi spend only a few months of the year sitting stationary here before setting out once again to follow the storms across this land. This is the only time they can hear requests from would be lords under their authority.

OOC ||
Light tribe B'alams are the dominant race and should be the most commonly seen B'alam within the territory.
Only Light Tribe B'alam who have achieved Magus status may apply to become lords and ladies under the Arch Magi.
While other tribe-born B'alam are welcome within the territories and colonies, they will never hold the rank of lord or lady.
Currently, there is no outlawed tribe. The Light Tribe has made no enemies.
Call for a Hearing ||
To post your request for a hearing (OOC- apply for a colony), you must first meet the following standards:
xx• There must be a magus B'alam in the leadership position. This will prove that you are a frequent roleplayer and IC- the B'alam they lead will have a strong protector.
xx• There must be a minimum of 10 followers under this magus with a minimum of 3 different owners. (In other words, you can't make a colony of just your B'alam, recruit some interest!)
xx• There must be at least 5 completed rp's started and finished within 3 months of application.
xx• You must have a name for your colony, a location picked out, and a write-up of the culture you wish to cultivate.
xx• There must be a majority of Light tribe B'alam. While it's a loose guideline, try to keep the Light-to-other-tribe ratio to about 3/1.
xx• While it is not a requirement, colony mules are encouraged.
xx• You must be willing to obey the Magi of the tribe. OOC- this means that the owners of this tribe are the final word on what goes on within the territory. Colonies can be subject to a hostile takeover if things go sour.
xx• You must keep the tribe alive! The leader or leaders are expected to have at least one complete RP posted every 4 months to maintain activity. If a colony goes without activity for too long, it will be assumed that the leaders vanished and it will be up to the Arch Magi to either appoint a new leader (Ooc- we'll pick out an active member) or disband and disperse the colony altogether.
xx• You must maintain your activity log (Link will go here) and an updated members list of your colony's citizens.
xx• If you wish to run a large plot, PM the tribe mule to run it by us first!
