It's revolution time. Revolution in a kingdom that has been at peace for the last 500 years. What has happened? The typical story. The people of the kingdom found out that their money they had worked really hard for had been put to really bad use. Now they are angry and trying to dethrone their king. Most of the nobles were involved in this scam, except for one young noble man who has been out of the kingdom for a while now. Emile is a young duke who lost his family years ago due to a fire, so ever since he has lived on his own enjoying the life of a noble, just not in the kingdom to be exact. Why he returned? You might think it's because of the revolution, but oh dear are you wrong! Emile has no clue of the revolution. Oh no! He came back because he was told that now that he has turned into the right age, he had to marry duchess ________. However, as ________ is also caught up in the chaos of the revolution, she has no intention whatsoever of marrying. Even so, she knows she has to meet up with her fiance and escape the kingdom.
_______ arrives to Emile's chateau but she has no clue who the duke is or how old he even is. They have never met before.
Anyways! When Emile got back to his home he came to the "nice" surprise that his servants had fled and had taken lots of valuable objects from the chateau. This was no surprise since now that he was back he had found out about the revolution and the chaos. It was crazy! Either way, Emile decided it was best that he change into old dirty peasant clothes since it would probably be safer to do that given the situation of the kingdom.
Now! When ______ arrives, she finds Emile running out of the chateau in quite a hurry. However, since he is wearing peasant clothes she mistakes him for a peasant! She quickly asks this "peasant boy" for the duke for she is no other than his fiancee. Emile realizes that the duchess really has no clue of who he is or what he looks like and therefore he takes this as an opportunity. An opportunity to escape his fate of having an arranged marriage. So, the man quickly lied about his identity and said he was the duke's personal manservant. He tells her that the duke has escaped to a safer place and that he will meet her there.
So, now _____ and Emile travel together trying to "find" the duke and all while they also try to stabilize the kingdom. Emile really does not care about politics and what happens to the king, but he does care about the kingdom and as so he will try his best to find out the truth and help the people of the kingdom. He'll try to do that all while he tries that ______ never finds out who he truly is.

Where does the story would start? Well, my fellow future role-playing partner, I suggest we start here: When she finds the "servant" running out the chateau.

Hopefully you do not find the story confusing, if you then you can ask me. I don't bite, I promise. In fact, I enjoy being asked questions or what's better, being suggested plots or twists. There's nothing more that I enjoy when role-playing than when my role-playing partner(s) and I start discussing the role-play. It gives the story more life and drama. And it also makes for a better connection between the characters and the people behind them.
