[ Continuation from the 'mermaid fairy tale' Kyan started by the pool with Honey in the main thread. Last post from the thread.

Mori had intended to provide the twins cover when the moved out, but they had moved before he could tell them to wait -- he had sensed his cousin just outside their tent. He didn't hear sounds of ambush however, instead hearing the haphazard swooshing and swishing of Shiny's staff as she surrendered to Hikaru and Kaoru's attack. ... nice, the tall host thought, deciding to bide his time just a little longer.
Knowing Honey was in wait (he would have done the same thing if he were in his shoes), Mori decided he'd take another exit and lifted the back of the tent to slip out. This did seem very much like a free-for-all water fight, but it was still being narrated so it was still a story. It definitely still counted.
He moved from around the tent, bypassing his cousin and taking aim at the third year standing on the lilypad. As stories go, the hero(ine, since his cousin was a magical girl right now) needed his (her) friends because friendship was magic... so, the villain usually aimed for the support...
The mist Kyouya and Shiny had 'conjured' together made it hard for him to take a shot at Kyan immediately, allowing her to advance towards the edge of the pool on the other lilypads instead. "Join me," he said to the other third-year, "And we can rule the sea as..." not father and son "King and queen." Since she was the 'human princess' and he was possessed by a demon lord or something like that.
Seeing that she was advancing towards the twins, Mori fired his watergun at her, unaware of what Kyouya was doing on his phone since he was sitting low in the mists.

"GAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!!!!" Honey shouted a loud war cry as he ran out of the tent with dual wielding pumped water gun shooting in the direction of the twins. Suddenly the pink mermaid princess was now Rambo-ing up the place with watery vengeance. Now it's a mermaid princess fairy tale war shouju story.
"YOU CAN'T HAVE HER!!!!" he yelled as he began to shoot at the twins. Running straight towards them, Honey fended Hikaru and Kaoru away from the priestess far enough for him to slide her a water gun. "Defend the human princess at all costs!! It's war now!!" he cried as he continued to chase them down.
"She'll never join you!!!" the shouta protested as he gently placed the water gun behind his cousin's back. "She has the priestess and I as friends. We've had amazing times together and she'll NEVER trade in her friends to join you!" Honey threw a water gun towards Kyandii. "Take this! It's dangerous to go alone!"
The Hitachiins' pride in their successful capture of Shiny didn't last long. Kyandii started towards them, and they automatically took a few steps back. Her dialogue only made them more wary, as did Kyouya's narration... Purging? Purifying? The only one they might trust to do so in a nice way was magical priestess Shiny, but with Kyan being the one to 'save' them? Nuh-uh. Didn't sound like they would like the purification process.
Mori had now revealed himself, which made them hopeful that maybe his offer would distract Kyan from him, even though both guessed it would be unlikely considering the memories Kyouya had brought up. They were now on the defensive, ready to go run behind Mori - but then Honey came out of the tent, guns blazing (well, sort of the opposite of the fire-y image that brought up). Their mostly unsuccessful attempts to dodge the water spray completely distracted them from their important goal of avoiding Kyan, and they laughed as they got soaked, forgetting the danger they were in.

It was a showdown, each with their own water gun, targets varying, though most of them appeared to be aimed at Mor---the demon lord.
Kyandii had halted at the lily pad closest to the edge of the pool and wiped the water from the shoulder that had been hit by Mori's water gun, flicking it off to the side with a small laugh. Oh right, they were roleplaying, should probably get in character or something. Whatever 'in character' even meant in this messed up(but awesome) story.
Needless to say, Mori's proposition had gotten her attention. "Actually...!" She spoke up with an all-too-innocent smile. "I can work with this. On the condition that Kaoru---" She jabbed a thumb in the twins direction. "Is made my personal servant." Cause why choose between revenge and becoming a queen when you could have both? "Oh. And I get the window side of the bed." Yup. Not naturally diabolical at all. No ulterior motives at all. Nope. Though that last part had been said with the straightest face she could muster up.
Then, just to kick up the soap opera factor, Kyandii feigned a pained expression and she turned her head meekly in Honey's direction, "I'm sorry, my friend... the truth is..." She choked a bit on laughter. "I just don't have what it takes to... transform...to be a good guy. I'm just..." She sighed dramatically. "...too badass."

his lily pad away from the side of the pool. A few taps on his cell phone indicated to the ninjutsu club that he'd be very pleased to be the recipient of a lemonade, delivered with utmost discretion, and requested that a few of them please stand by should further ninjutsu be required.
Meanwhile, he did what water snake sorcerers did best -- relax and enjoy the chaos from a distance that would give him plenty of warning should it start heading his way.
Discreetly, a lemonade floated down onto kyoya's lilypad with a small parachute. Meanwhile, four ninja stayed behind (hidden in the last place you'd expect) awaiting further orders. Razik watched from a distance with a slight twitch in his eye. Since when do they take orders from him?

"!!!"
The tall 'demon lord' blinked once in his shock and touched the back of his head with his hand, then looked at his damp fingertips as if he was checking for blood. "..." He turned to look at Honey, at first thinking it was him, but the angle that he had been hit didn't suggest it was the little magical... mer-fighter.
His gaze went past Honey and he saw the priestess Shiny near by, her water gun pointed at him. "Ah," he murmured, shrugging very slightly. "Only a flesh wound," he said calmly... before letting his own water gun slip from his hand, followed by a dramatic drop to his knees and finally onto his side.
The lolita laughed menaicly as he continued to shoot the twins. Both the twin's laughter caused a chain effect where Honey forgot he was supposed to be magical pink warrior and lost himself in the fun along with them. Ha ha ha!!!
Wait.....she want to be evil? "Heeeey! Don't be evil Kyan! We have all the cookies!" he randomly brought up as he puffed his cheeks in frustration. Then again, being that it was Kyandii, its not that all surprising. Mischievous was her middle name after all. Listening more to her explanation, he pouted. "...but badass can be pink and magical girly too..."
Seeing Shiny take initiative to dispel the demons made Honey smile since it showed she was enjoying herself as well. He busted into giggles when his cousin made yet another reference. After he dramatically fell to the ground like the wonderful actor Mori, Honey leaned over the befallen demon lord to lightly poke his nose softly.
"...boop! Demons gone" Honey giggled snorted from the silliness of a simple boop on the nose getting rid of the demons.

The twins crossed their arms at Kyan's request, and Hikaru moved slightly in front of his brother in defense. But of course demon lord Mori wouldn't agree, right...? Oh wait, he was possessed by a demon - they remembered just as Mori agreed, and pouted before holding back laughter as Mori got 'shot' by Shiny.
They watched Honey and Shiny with him for a moment before wondering aloud, "So... we're not magically controlled by the demon lord anymore?" Because, if they weren't... they looked at each other, each raising a single eyebrow. Then they were free agents, and could choose either side as they wished. But, if they were... they might just have to play along and let Kaoru go serve Kyan (though, maybe that could still be avoided with some dramatic brotherly love scene - didn't love conquer all or something in magical girl mermaid stories???). The former was vastly preferred.

She had been thinking about going into dramatics over the loss of her King of two whole seconds, because this whole acting thing was kinda fun(even if she couldn't keep a straight face to save her life). Shiny's sudden fear of actually injuring her friend had ultimately sided that--- and she wasn't about to get involved with the awkward, even if she found great amusement in Mori's face being boob-hugged(she wondered if he was suffocating...).
But wait. With her King "dead", where did that leave her? A poor widow Queen of two whole seconds. "Oh! My King has fallen! Whatever shall I do?" Well, she could still have fun with this. "Oh right. I get all his stuff, yes?" Yay, marriage!
Kyandii turned that face of mourning slowly into her normal sadistic grin as her eyes landed on a certain pair of twins. Even she didn't know if they were still under control or not--- probably not, but regardless. "That means you're both mine now, ne?" The third year dropped the water gun to the lily pad she stood on and hopped to the pool side to make a quick dash for them.
By gods, Kaoru Hitachiin was going in the pool--- whether she had to throw both of them in or not just to make sure.
"Actually, that depends on the execution of his will," came a dry voice from the center of the pool. "Most demon lords are fairly reliable about planning for their succession, as the otherwise-ensuing chaos generally means that they leave no legacy at all." Kyouya took a long sip of his lemonade. Apparently that glittering-glasses trick worked on swim goggles as well.
"Granted, I don't expect that's going to stop you; demon-brides are just as well known for their tenacity. But should you actually wish the assets to not be contested in court at a later date," he shot the twins an amused look, as he was quite well-aware that there was probably no end to this little rivalry at this point, "consider contacting me as an executor. My rates are reasonable, and I'm quite familiar with the intricacies of demonic law." Another long sip of his lemonade was accompanied by that cheerful I-mean-profit smile.
Surely, surely, Kyouya was simply just playing along ... he had no reason to be actually familiar with demonic law. But his expression was admirably straight ....

The boop he had been expected from Honey, but the shriek from Shiny startled him and he was about to move to sit up -- but he'd been stopped by the 'priestess' gathering his fallen form in his arms and clutching him dramatically... to her chest.
"..." He was quiet, because that's how he usually was and also if he said anything it'd be, well, muffled right now. When Shiny came to realize that she had not actually killed Mori, the tall host slowly rose a hand to place it on her arm so he could carefully pry himself from his grasp. His expression was pointedly blank, but there was a slight flush to his cheeks from the interesting hug he'd just been pulled into by the blonde.
"I'm not dead," he said flatly as he sat up on his knees now. "But thanks." For... being concerned.
So, it seemed that he'd be freed of the evil demon's hold on him from a combination of being shot with water and also getting magically booped on the nose. Mori looked to Kyan, who was taking to being an 'evil (widowed) queen' quite swimmingly, and then looked to Kyouya, who (for some reason) knew about demon law. Didn't surprise him at all.
