Description: A giant panther has been seen in the training ground, no one knows where it came from or who released it their but its been attacking people. Thankfully no one has been hurt by this creature yet but to many ninja are busy with important things that the Kage has ranked this a three man genin squad. The animal is to not be killed but only captured.

The panther sat in a tree as it watched the path closely and watched the area smiling.
(I am going to bed, this mission will be continued tomorrow, feel free to do a post )
➟Yori walked through the entire training field in search for the panther he was suppose to capture along with his temporary teammate. Walking along you could hear a sulking noise as he reluctantly searched for the thing. Tch! Some mission this is! Honestly I was expecting a higher ranking mission but no, here I am searching for some stupid and overgrown cat! This totally sucks... Yori kicked a nearby pebble in frustration, unfortunately for him he kicked the pebble so hard that once the motivation kicked in, his leg was so high in the air that his back caved in and he fell backwards. Great...perfect...just wonderful. The genin just lied there a few moments looking up at the sky before he got back up and dusted himself off, clearly annoyed by what just happened. "Hey where did Takshi go? Aw who cares, I can just take credit for the whole mission myself once I take down this panther on my own. It's not like he was going to be of much help to me anyways, this reward is all mine!" With Yori all fired up for the mission he searched for the panther with determination once more. The young genin already knew that the panther wasn't out in the open, he would have seen the thing by now had it been. He knew a few details here and there about various animals so it was safe for him to make assumptions, most likely being of high accuracy. The blue haired shinobi began searching the trees for the panther with the highest hopes that it be resting high atop one of the branches. "Here little fella! Are you in there or do I have to cut the tree down and watch you topple? Before I capture you and turn you in I would really like to know how in god's name did you manage to show up here of all places. Did you escape from the zoo or something?" At this point Yori was speaking to himself not aware of the panther's true location.

Takashi had split up from Yori in intrest of covering more ground in their search for the panther. He searched the entire training grounds but found no signs of the large black cat. As he was finishing looking through the training grounds he saw Yori running through the trees in search of the panther. Takashi decided that it was about time for him to check in and so he ran to catch up with Yori. He joined Yori in the trees, catching up with him quickly. "Any luck?" He asked, keeping pace with Yori. Yori seemed to have become quite frustrated and Takashi hoped that he could keep a clear head.

The panther licked its paw and looked down to see two genin, making what ever the hell noise a panther makes their was the noise of trees been landed on approaching their direction of Takashi and Yori.

Takashi suddenly heard a deep growl and turned his head to come eye to eye with the black beast who seemed to have just dropped from a tree. He got Yori's attention and pointed to the large cat, stopping on a tree limb and spinning quickly around to face the cat. Takashi assumed that it would be a good idea to stay as quite as possible in fear of startling the panther. He began to think of what ways they may capture the beast. He had one ninjutsu perfect for capturing it if they could get it to stay still and a genjutsu that might work to distract it but had no idea what sort of jutsu Yori knew.
➟ Thought you could sneak up on me didn't you? Not today! Caught off guard by Takashi's sudden appearance he grabbed the hilt of his blade, ready to behead the panther he thought tried to sneak up on him. Once he saw that it was only his teammate he loosened up and let both arms dangle to the side. "Oh. It was only you Takeshi. For a second I thought the panther was trying to get the old jump on me, not that it would succeed. You see I have something that no other wildlife animal will achieve, true instincts! Mine go far beyond some dumb tiger painted black, I'm a true shinobi pal!" Yori was of course arrogant and loud, he let his guard down and held no indication that he was prepared to take on the panther at the time. "So anyways...you don't have to tag along. I've got this mission taken care of, I'll let you take some of the credit since your here but most of the reward is mine. All you need to do is stand back and witness a legend in the making." As helpful as Takashi tried to be, Yori was foolish and hadn't a clue what he was motioning at. "What are you pointing at? You know standing there like that makes you look pretty lame." Is everyone in this village mentally challenged? And talk about creepy too, wish he'd stop acting like that though, it's freaking me out. Moments pass and Yori still doesn't get it. He just stares blankly at Takashi while he points to the panther. Finally Yori was beginning to catch on once he realized that Takashi was most likely pointing to something of interest. Once Yori turned around to see the panther he couldn't stop laughing at himself. "That's what you were pointing at! Aww this is just too good! Haha! Wow sometimes I'm the moron and I don't realize it, talk about total embarrassment!" The genin was laughing so loud he broke out into tears, lucky for him the panther didn't pounce on him yet. Gathering himself he wiped a few tears away from his eyes with his right index finger. "Hehe! That was too good, okay let's take care of business now. I'll use my ninjutsu to wear him out, once I do that you can help me carry him back." Taking a few steps back, Yori faced the panther fearlessly. "You won't be the one winning today."

The panther growled as their was two rustles in the trees aound the panther. The panter slowly began approaching the two genin as it pounced at Yori who seemed to be the most confident of the two.

Takashi kept a close eye on the panther as he listened to Yori talk. He had honestly begun to admire Yori a bit. To Takashi he seemed sure of himself and had begun to convince Takashi that it may not just all be big talk. Suddenly the panther began to slowly approach the two of them and Takashi's focus returned to the cat beast. Suddenly the pitch black beast pounced at Yori. Takashi snapped into action and quickly tackled Yori out of the way, making use of his speed and reflexes. "Remember, we have to catch that thing alive." He said to Yori as he moved them both towards the safety of a nearby tree branch, keeping an eye on the panther.
➟"I've got you right wh--" His sentence was cut short as Takashi tackled him to the ground. Once again the jittery feelings of a random stranger touching him began to make Yori feel uneasy and therefore, aggressive. "What the hell is wrong with you!? I had a plan and here you go messing it up! I knew you'd only get in my way, some teammate you sure turned out to be! And why are you still on me, get off!" The aggravated Yori pushed Takashi away from him and began thinking of the next course of action he would take. This thing is pretty quick on it's feet, I don't think I could outrun this thing if I held onto my sword. My hand seal speed should be just enough to allow my ninjutsu to push the panther back and exhaust his energy until he gives in. The question is...which one do I use? Wait! I know what I'll use now...I'll use one of my new techniques! Yori walked towards the panther slowly, making sure not to make any sudden movements. Because Yori wasn't acting as rash and dimwitted as he was a moment ago, it meant he acknowledged the panther as a threat. "Don't get in my way again, just stay back until it's time to bring the panther back." The young genin began forming hand seals at a breakneck pace, his speed and accuracy were slightly above average for a shinobi his age, of course he seriously lacked skill in many other places. Confident in his skill the genin grinned as he shouted the name of the ninjutsu he'd perform, along with the final hand seal. "Water Style: Bubble Beam!" His cheeks expanded greatly as they were filled with bubbles made from the boy's own chakra. Yori began blowing the bubbles, which traveled at fairly quick speeds, towards the black panther in hopes that the bubbles would cause the animal to flinch. It wasn't just a simple one bubble, or two bubbles, a stream of bubbles would be thrown at the panther with the highest hopes from Yori. If it did the trick, Yori would begin a follow up, unless of course Takashi wanted to tag in and try something. Despite Yori's harsh words he would most likely need assistance.
The user will start with a few handseals before being able to release a stream of bubbles from his mouth. These bubbles will shoot at good speed towards the target, and will explode upon contact causing them to flinch. A skilled Suiton user can make the bursting of those bubbles rather painful.

The panther hissed as it was hit by the puppets, chuckling could be heard in the trees as the panther just slowly backed up as it hit him as he continued to back up and hiss. THe laughing in the trees getting louder.

Takashi watched as Yori pushed him away, confronting the beast head on. He was impressed when Yori began casting a ninjutsu, amazed by his hand seal speed. It was impressive but sadly seemed to have little affect on the panther. Takashi began to formulate a plan, finally coming up with something. "Hey Yori, if you can try to get that panther on the ground." Takashi said before jumping to the ground and silently beginning to form hand seals. Suddenly, he heard laughing from the trees, the volume growing to quite a loud pitch. It stopped Takashi in his tracks for a moment before he returned to his senses, continuing his hand seals and focusing on the panther.
➟"Now that's more like it!" Yori was so invested non the fight that he didn't even notice the shady laughter in the tree's until it got louder. "You hear something?" He scratched his head with his right while the left was placed on his left hip. Maybe it's just my imagination but I could've sworn someone was laughing in that direction. What kind of b*****d thinks he could get away with laughing at someone like me? Whoever he or she, whatever the hell it is, it isn't going to get away with it! "Oi! Takeshi, I need you to take care of the panther for me while I find out where that laughing is coming from. The guy's going to pay big time for messing with our mission!" And with that Yori concentrated on his feet. What he was really doing was using his chakra control to his advantage, focusing the chakra to his feet he successful began running up a nearby tree in search of the source of laughter. "Why don't you make this easy and show yourself!" Jumping from tree to tree he searched non stop, of course he had to hurry, Takashi was alone with a panther.

Tree Climbing Practice is a training method used to gain more skills with chakra control. This training involves focusing a fixed amount of chakra to the bottom of one's feet, and using that to climb a tree without using one's hands. If the stream of chakra is too weak, the user will lose their footing on the tree and fall off. If it is too strong, the user will be pushed away from the tree, causing the tree to break around the point of contact and the user will fall.

The panther suddenly ran at takashi and leaped into the air fairly high and went down towards him claws showing. In the trees the laughter grew louder as it came from two directions, one in the tree by the panther the other one all around Yori. Suddenly a foot rushed towards Yori's face as the laughter grew.

Takashi watches Yori run off in search of the laughing and lost his focus on the panther for a moment. It was only for a fraction of a second but it was enough for the cat. The cat charged and leaped him. He stopped forming hand seals and leaped to the side. However, he wasn't quite fast enough and the cat managed to scratch his leg. Takashi began to quickly jump from tree to tree, using the full extent of his speed so that he was hardly a blur. He began to make hand seals, preparing to cast his genjutsu. As he formed his last hand seal we whispered softly to himself "Mist servant technique." Black ninjas began to appear one by one from random trees, rocks, and bushes.
Kasumi Jūsha no Jutsu [Mist Servant Technique] This genjutsu creates eerie black ninja illusions, which appear one by one from trees and rocks, and corner the enemy. Their movements are slow, but when attacked they multiply, and in this way they appear like ghosts inhabiting the mist. Kunai are added to this technique, by throwing them to match illusions movement, making them seem real. As the clones continue to multiply, the victim will eventually be worn down.
