Patrolling was becoming easier. Just a bit. She was getting used to powering up, her muscles were getting used to the excursion that came with the title of Senshi and she was getting used to the way Destiny City had changed. Eris was on top of one of the Destiny City water towers, looking around for anything out of the ordinary or any one strong pull of Nega energy. The Senshi of Discord squatted down, hair blowing in the summer breeze that stirred stale, humid air around and caused her to lose her breath a little. "Nothing so far tonight," she murmured softly, her brows knitting hard. For so much bad energy it was strange how quiet the city was. Where she was she couldn't even see the stars in the sky, it was so brightly lit. It sure had expanded a great deal while she was away. "...It's all different."

Kallichore's patrol route had careened through the outskirts of the city without finding anything Chaotic in particular. There were sparse Order signatures dotting the landscape, one of which was relatively close to her current position near a small patch of single-family homes. They had expansive yards and, in the years she'd been a senshi, Kallichore noticed youma had a tendency to appear in places packed with human activity. The outskirts of town tended to be a stomping ground for agents trying to avoid the eyes of senshi, trying to lay low while they break into homes and steal souls. Order was having none of that. However, without finding an agent to pursue, Kallichore found herself wandering from point to point and stopped once she found another signature. Just with the intent to check in and make sure the other senshi didn't need assistance, the eternal stopped close by the water tower and made herself known, just in case. "Did you need assistance, Sailor? I was passing by and wanted to find out if you had found anything, or if you needed any help."

Eris hadn't felt anyone near her, so the voice threw her off. Blinking a little, Eris turned and found herself looking at Kallichore and tilted her head to the side. "...I.." Where did she even come from? She squinted at the other woman and put her hands on her hips before shaking her head. "..I haven't found anything yet. ..There's so many energy signatures out and I'm-" Eris cut herself off. Admitting she was overwhelmed wasn't something the senshi wanted to do, but what other word could she use? Clicking her tongue at herself, her dark eyes looked back up and shrugged. "Confused. I haven't been here in some time." Eris pushed dark hair off her shoulder and just toyed with her skirt after a moment before clearing her throat. "Eris. Senshi of Discord." The name wouldn't ring a bell unless Kallichore was here about four years ago or more.

Taking the introduction as a cue that approach wasn't forbidden, the eternal hopped closer to Eris, but not so close that the Super could be touched. Kallichore gave her a short and concise bow. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Eris. I'm Kallichore, Senshi of Madness." The name Eris didn't ring a bell but the Goddess herself was familiar - a leftover from a Greek mythology unit during an English class some years ago. Eris had something to do with an apple, didn't she? A quick shake of the head. Anyway. "...do you mean you were outside of Destiny City, or that you had not powered up in some time? Either way, it's a pleasure to have you back in the fray, for what it's worth. I certainly hope it's willingly that you join us? Not some sense of guilt?" Perhaps that was prying but the eternal wanted to make sure Eris powered up because she wanted to, not because her star or comet or whatever had called her back into action while she was enjoying a perfectly safe and mundane life. "I didn't find anything unusual on my patrol, so if you'd like, I can join you? Perhaps get you up to speed, so to speak. How long has it that you've been gone, Eris?"

Madness and Discord meeting. It was rather poetic, really. Dark eyes watched the Eternal as she came near, not tensing up at all and just accepted her introduction and words. "...It's both. I was pulled out of Destiny City for educational reasons and hadn't had time to preform my duties. I'm ...more than willing to join you. Not out of guilt, but because, last I knew, the Queen wasn't on the throne. It's my number one mission to see her back." Eris was very straight forward about her speech, seeing no need in lying or beating around the bush. "You'll find no guilt with me. Though I do feel disappointed.." Catch her up to speed? That would be the best thing for her. She felt relief was hover her before nodding and motioning the other closer. "...I would love that..." Her voice was soft, no longer had that hard edge to it. "...Two years? Maybe three? Has much changed besides a stronger pull of Negaverse energy?"

"Disappointed that we haven't made any progress? You'll get no argument from me. But there is no Queen to place on a throne; she's long since dead." Has much changed besides a stronger pull of Negaverse energy? That was one thing Kallichore had - a basic idea of what had happened in the past up to the present, barring a few things here and there. From her research into updates for the Primer, she'd managed to stitch a narrative together that came close to making sense of the insanity that was the war. No pun intended. "The reason why I know this is because I saw it with my own eyes. Order was having a large-scale meeting. Princesses were in tow - Iris, Polaris and Chronos. There were far too many people in one place and too few cats, and the Negaverse showed up to ambush us. It was a slaughter, for we were wholly unprepared." Kallichore lowered her head in silent respect for those that had fallen and for those unlucky enough to be whisked away into the darkness, never to be seen in the same form again. "Ares, Zinkenite and Howlite led the charge. We were losing, terribly, until a grand light came to save us. We woke up on the Moon itself. There is a ruin there, an ancient city. Within it was the ghost of Queen Serenity. She gave us passage there, telling us we could visit the Moon itself during every full moon. I fully intend to explore its secrets as soon as possible." From that bit of information, six individuals of royal power that may or may not have been known to Eris were named. "Ares has corrupted and created a faction of Chaos senshi not like those the Negaverse takes. They are called Dark Mirrors. I saw their birth firsthand. Don't listen to anything they say, Eris. Leto used to be Europa's cousin but was baptized by Ares in a mirror and was no longer the same. It was like someone else inhabited the body..." The eternal turned away for a moment, wondering what she could provide that would make Eris think all was not lost. "It seems to me that when Chaos rises, so too does Order rise to meet it. The Moon, the Queen had said, will never allow Chaos to enter. We would be safe there to hold large meetings and to gather in peace. Cats can give you the pearl needed to gain passage to the Moon. We're also setting up a Blackwatch, something to assist not only newbie senshi, but Destiny City as a whole. All is not lost."

Dead. The queen was dead? Her eyes hardened and she fought back tears at that, having to look away. Well s**t. That was her whole life's mission. Eris swallowed thickly, her throat tight and painful as she did. Black gloved fists clenched tightly as Eris struggled with herself. She felt as if her world had shattered. Was she that far out of reach when the Queen passed that she hadn't felt it? Turning watery, red eyes back to the other and she listened and struggled with herself hard. Even in death Queen Serenity was doing what she could to protect her people. Her chest ached hard and she was just getting irrationally with herself. Then Ares was said to be corrupted and that was... "I've.." She cleared her throat, her voice sticky sounding with emotions "...I've.. met a couple of them. I think." She took a deeper breath and just tried to calm herself down. It wasn't her fault she wasn't here when the uprising happened, when Chaos overthrew them and sent them backwards. Eris wanted to run and hide, wanted to go mourn and scream and blame her parents for everything that happened within her powered life that she missed. All wasn't lost. "...I'll end them, I swear to God. I'll see to it that they pay." She was so pissed. Beyond pissed. "...This Black Watch.. I've... heard whispers, but I've not heard much of it. I'm interested."
