Xo waited for a reply and, when one came, she gave a little grin. Good! It wasn't a large one from the sounds of it, but that was fine. She didn't expect it to be too big. Where there was a small forest there was usually a larger not too far away, so if she lucked out in that area she could always try to press on and find another.
"Great, thanks," she said, moving forward towards the other female. She had strange markings on her back like wings and she gave a little 'ooh' as she admired them. Her siblings had wing-ish markings, but they were less obvious and more tribal in appearance. "I like your wings," she commented, grinning a bit wider. "Do they help you fly? You're pretty fast!" The lioness didn't even seem that tired even though, the whole time Xo had seen her, she'd been running.
"I always wanted to fly," she added, glancing up at the sky. "Birds look so free and light! Ah, it bet it's a strange but fun sensation."
