It happened suddenly, which is to say, without any warning, except for the Olympus meeting a few days prior. Every knight that attended the Olympus meeting had all that time to wonder: what exactly was it that one page could not discover on her own, with the right camping materials? What was it that the Code thought she could not do, that their assembled number could? Time passed, and maybe the memory faded and maybe it didn't, but if they had agreed to lend Mistral Page their arms, the day came and they simply... vanished...One moment, they’d all been doing whatever it is they did on Monday nights around ten in the evening (sleeping? reading? homework?) and the next, they were ever-so-rudely yanked into the ether, into space-- --and then unceremoniously deposited at the base of the stairs in Mistral’s labyrinth. As the assembled knights picked themselves up off the ground, a curiously toneless voice said from nowhere in particular but most specifically, directly over their shoulders: “Level Four: hydroponics.” If they turned to look, there would be nothing there but their fellows, looking just as confused as they were.

Welcome to the labyrinth of Mistral! You’re the first knights to stand in this level of the labyrinth since the Silver Millennium, and while that is certainly an honor, it’s also a danger to you. As the last knight of Mistral closed down her wonder to protect it from ravening hordes of Chaotic soldiers, she laid traps of varying menace. These traps range from simple flash-bangs, to pieces of wall rigged to explode, to solid floors which are not. The further down you go, the more dangerous it becomes. The labyrinth and laboratories are fourteen levels. You are on Level 4: Hydroponics. This level is populated mostly by harmless traps. A map will be provided to your character. To successfully escape the labyrinth and join Mistral on the lobby level, you must navigate through your level and find the piece of the device hidden on your floor. In each room, you will find something--a trap, a treasure, or a device piece--that will be determined by the roll of a d20. Traps are exactly what they say on the tin. They come in three varieties: harmless, harmful, and deadly. Every trap variety will be identified for you. Should a deadly trap be rolled in a party with more than one disposable, the lowest-level disposable will die first. Should there be more than one Page-level disposable in the group, the disposable whose name comes first alphabetically will die first. Only one disposable will die per deadly trap, unless all of them survive to the final trap, at which point they will all die. Your challenge is to describe how your character avoids or survives these--and if you play a disposable, should your party encounter a deadly trap, to write your character’s horrible end. At no point will your character’s situation after the trap be written for you. Treasures are one-use items which can only be used within the labyrinth of Mistral. Each ‘treasure’ encountered counts for each character--so even if your party only encounters one treasure, it can be assumed that your characters all took something from the pile. You decide what the treasures are, as long as you use them before the end of the RP. To use a treasure, post in bold at the top of your post that you are using a treasure and what you are using it for. Please keep track of your treasures. Device pieces send your characters to the final trap, where all still-living disposables must die. After that, your characters will proceed to the final RP, item hand-in. All Mistral exploration RPs count as a battle, but you may only choose one to participate in.

The group she could see on the screen from the knight's quarters wasn't the entirety of those present on Olympus--it appeared to be roughly a third of them, if that. Mistral settled herself on the high chair that she'd seen her mother sitting in, in a vision of long ago, and Mendel flopped down below her feet, tongue lolling out. She had meant to come prepared, with dog food and water for him, but the Code hadn't been any more courteous to her than it had been to her peers, and she was utterly unprepared. And hungry. God, she was starving. That didn't excuse her from fulfilling her duties to her peers, the knights who were being so helpful to her. She cracked her knuckles and held out her hands in expectation of the holographic, haptic keyboard appearing. It faded into view, a bright violet glow that oriented itself to her fingertips in the glove. After a few tries, she hit the proper six keys in order, and said, "I am Anabel, Page of Mistral." And then, that toneless voice: "Hello, Anabel. How may I assist?" "I can see the other knights," she said. "Where are they?" "Hydroponics," said the Code. Which was about as helpful as a hammer to the foot would be. She nodded anyway, and lowered her hands. "Can we give them a map?" It took a bit of fiddling, but eventually, she discovered the proper keys to hit. A map popped up in front of the group in Hydroponics, with a glowing pink dot to show where they were. YOU ARE AT THE STARTING POINT. You have found yourself in a smooth stone hallway. The temperature is temperate, and when you walk you can hear your footsteps echoing. Somewhere far off, water is rushing... There are two right turns ahead. Do you take the first [6] or the second [4]?

Being yanked away from whatever he was doing (in this case, studying for a test), was becoming almost a normal occurrence now. Not that Ys liked finding himself somewhere else, in uniform. The tall man sighed as he lifted a long-fingered hand to rub his scalp between his braids, glancing around to see who all were with him as he climbed to his feet. Had Megiddo gotten dragged along this time? She always seemed to show up to these things...
The voice over his shoulder made him jump with a jangle of silver bells, but the faces around him seemed as confused as he was about it. Hydrophonics? Wasn't that like... plant stuff or something? Hydro was water, at least... but that's as far as his brain wanted to take him. It sounded science-fiction-y.
Well, the path forward offered them two routes and he glanced to his companions, defaulting to a greeting to get things started.
"For those I don't know... Ys, Page of Saturn. Looks like we have ourselves a bit of a hunt on our hands. Opinions on where to go from here?"

Megiddo picks door #4! God damn it, thought Megiddo as soon as she heard Ys's bells jingling. There were fourteen levels in this labyrinth, and she just had to land on the one with him in it. Not that she hated the Saturn page - she just... she sighed. He got on her nerves. He called her Meg and that was unforgivable. "Ding dong, we have a map," she said, gesturing with a flourish to the display in front of them. This place was, like, hella sci-fi and not like her wonder at all. She loved it! (She was a little bit jealous.) Megiddo stepped forward to study the map in front of them. "The next stairs are right there," she said, pointing to the alcove just before the first right. "We should go down to the other room and work our way back around. It's not going to be in the first room we get to. That would be too easy." She'd played a lot of RPGs. She knew how this worked. Or, at least, she thought she did.

Buyan wants to go to door #6 Buyan flailed a little as she appeared on Mistral. What the hell!? the former teacher thought to herself, almost muttering it out loud. Though she looked a little embarrassed when she noticed there were others around.
As Buyan listened to the others quietly her hands were playing with the folds of her dress, it seemed there was a map just floating there. . . . the blonde page of Neptune was staring. "What if. . . . we follow the water sounds? When we figure out which way they're coming from?" She suggested - just feeling a little more comfortable knowing there was water somewhere.
Of course one of the others suggested going the second route first, "Uh, wouldn't it be easier to walk in a big circle, if we go to the second one first we'd have to double back at some point, for the rooms we missed. This way it'd be a little less walking, I mean we'd eventually probably still have to double back to get to the stairs. . . but we maximize the search area while minimizing the time it takes us."
She was trying to look at this from an artful perspective. "I mean unless you've a reason to start with the second?"

Ashur votes door #6!
Dominic was busy soldering one minute, the next thing he knew, he was on...Mistral, he had to assume, and in his knightly garb. Ashur glanced around curiously, a hand reaching up to scratch his head and put on a confused sort of expression. "I really hoped there'd be more of a warning before this," he said with a sigh, eyes meeting each of the other knights' around.
Introductions went around and Ashur offered his own in brief before his attention was pulled away to the display that suddenly appeared. He looked at the map, gave it a good look, but wound up shrugging in the end. "I like the idea of less walking," the squire admitted. "We don't exactly know what's around here, so it might be a better idea to save up a bit of energy."
Ash went back to the map again, arms folded across his chest. "I'm good with either choice, to be honest, but that was just my two cents."

The annoyed voice from his left put a wide grin on Ys's face and he turned to throw his arms out wide and sweep the grumpy Saturn squire into a hug.
"Megiddo!" He laughed as he lifted her off her feet in the hug then set her back down, releasing his grip to clap her on the shoulders instead. "I was afraid I would be all alone in this maze, no one I knew to appreciate my charming self!" The lean man grinned as he winked at her, finally dropping his hands as he offered the other two knights a sweeping bow.
"Its a pleasure to meet both of you and a pleasure to explore this place by your sides. Also, I realize we have a map, but that doesn't answer the question about where to go." He shot back at his fellow Saturn knight, waving a hand in a flourish. "It looks like our companions are suggesting room 6, and I am inclined to agree. Short route first, and we then know we have a clear, shorter path back to the stairs once we find whatever it is we're looking for."
Stepping up to the turn in the hall, he grinned at Megiddo and Buyan as he raised his eyebrows, offering them a hand with splayed fingers.
"Ladies first?"

Andronicus is going to 4!
Well that was rude. She was going to insist that everyone stop dragging her a** out into space. She'd only just investigated her wonder and found her ring and settled into a restful sleep pattern again. And then, once again, her a** was out in space. She was vaguely aware of the book falling to floor before her aforementioned rearend landed on the floor.
In Mistral.
On Mercury.
With absolutely no signs of the page anywhere.
"Oh for the love of Sylvannas... " she grumbled, picking herself up off the floor. Andronicus was going to have a long talk with the Code and advise it to alert the knights an hour before hand that the they were going to get ripped from their lives and dropped on a planet. What if someone started a fire because they dropped a match? Or left their child drowning in the tub? Or crashed their car into someone because they were plucked from it? It was insanity and incredibly rude to just yank someone out of existence! She spun the silver ring on her finger and continued grumbling as she looked around. She didn't quite recognize any of them directly except... Ashur maybe? At least the symbols on his gear. The page looked around for her trusty partner in crime.
"Themi should be here somewhere..." The Mars Page was never far. Unless she'd ended up in a different section of the labyrinth. She settled herself in front of the second turn and waited.

Themiscyra votes for door #4
Themi should be here somewhere...
"Oh for ******** sake, Andro, if you summoned me here I'm gonna be pissed." Which was at extreme odds with the amount of laughter that came out as she was trying to say that.
Unfortunately for the blue Page, those were the first words that the Martian in question heard when she appeared there in the... uh. Her eyes traveled warily around, willing to quickly admit Andronicus wasn't the reason for her sudden arrival. At least she was only nuking an instant meal for a fail dinner when she was zipped away. Maybe she could re-nuke it once she got back? It was going to get cold in the microwave at some point, depending on how long this took. Which, if this had anything to do with what that other Page had said on Olympus, it'd be a while. Well. She did sign up for this. Couldn't be upset that someone cashed the token. Her hands came to rest on her hips, peering down the hall curiously before finally venturing to see who else was summoned to that level. "Could be worse at least. Could be in a blizzard or something." Knights from Mercury always seemed to look like they were trying to ward off such weather, anyways.
Coming over to rest an elbow on Andronicus' shoulder, she gave a cheeky grin to Squire Ashur. "I'm still not used to seeing you like that. But I'm forever glad the cosmic tailor kept the Jedi theme." Looking to the others gathered, she recognized no other faces, but held up her other hand in a simple greeting. "Themiscyra of Mars." Eyeing the map for a moment and noting where her female companion seemed aimed towards, she gave a quick shrug to the rest of those gathered. "If it's still up for debate, I vote a long trek around. I'd like to see as much as this place as possible, and make sure nothing's gonna be trying to sneak up behind us." She'd seen too many horror movies, sure, but she also didn't have many chances to visit other wonders. Why waste the chance? "Unless everyone's decided. In which case, ignore me." She wasn't entirely sure how much she'd missed, but hey. When did that stop her from opening her big mouth?

PROCEEDING TO ROOM 4 The party walks down the long, featureless hallway to room 4. Upon entry, there is a loud goosh! sound. Above them, the ceiling swings open and dumps a whole ******** of industrial-smelling slime right on top of their heads. It's super gross, like, gray-brown and smelling like old oil (although it's not hot, if anything it's very cold) with large, gooey chunks in it. It is disgusting. And now it is in your hair. You may proceed to room 7, room 3, room 1, or the secret passageway to room 5. New players may continue to enter this thread!

The blizzard comment got a snort out of the Squire, then a brow quirked in its usual manner at the Jedi hit before he started off in the direction that was voted by the majority of the group. "I won't say I'd prefer a blizzard over a maze, but in cases involving that uniform I wouldn't mind a blizzard so much," he laughed, making sure to stand far enough away to avoid taking any serious hits from the Martian Page. "This cosmic tailor's gonna get his a** handed to him if he keeps this up, though, just sayin'." Ashur gave a small wave over at Andronicus, acknowledging his fellow Uranian knight, before he took to walking ahead of the rest of the group, poking and prodding at the walls curiously.
It wasn't as long a walk as he thought it would be based on the length of the corridor on the map they were provided. It was also very...plain. Within minutes Ashur began to resign himself to the fact that this would probably be a very boring mission, granted at least he was in good company. When he took his first steps into the chamber, he was basically sure that nothing of interest would be happening on this trip to Mercury. Bit of a shame, considering it was his first time being there.
Oh well.
The Squire took a quick look around, a lopsided frown soon forming as he turned to the others. "Big, boring room. Nex--"
The goosh and falling slime cut him off, and the next sound to come out of his mouth was a slew of curses and groans as he made a face at the smell of the stuff that was now.. all over him. "Well <******** me," he muttered, swinging his arms and working to get as much of the slime off of him as possible. It was everywhere, and he was not happy. Not. Happy.
So much for uneventful. One would think he'd be happier about the fact that something actually happened, but...well. He had slime all over him, so it made sense that he was already less enthusiastic about the rest of his time in that maze.
"I vote us guys pick the next door, what say you, ladies? I see three of 'em."

Megiddo votes room 3Megiddo shrieked as the liquid rained down on them, but, all things considered, she'd expected something a whole lot worse than room-temperature goop. Whatever the point of this trap, she thought, it had expired long ago. Once she realized that no, they were not all being presently boiled to death, she headed a great groan of "Blegh!" and wiped gross nastiness away from her eyes. "You're welcome to do that if you want," she called to Ashur, shaking her hands in an attempt to clear them of goop (with limited success). "I vote we stick with the plan and head to three." But, like, her plan was the one that had gotten them all dumped on, so they were free to ignore her. "Everyone okay?" Megiddo called, glancing around. No one appeared to be, like, dissolving, so she had to assume they were doing well.

Buyan votes room 3 Buyan squirmed at the liquid, it was horrible and it stank kind of she didn't want to think about it. "We should probably get out of here."
It was something she wasn't use too but surely the rest couldn't be this bad right? "Lets go with three I suppose, just hope there's clean water somewhere."
