 There was something definitely weighing down on Umeko's mind. During the battle with the kalona formerly known as Zanza there had been something that she had overheard one of the Khalasar members saying that had been waved off at the time. Although now that the battle had concluded and the enemy dispatched Umeko had been dwelling more and more on the words that she had heard Illyria speak as she had confronted Zanza. Umeko had been sheltered by Illyria's wings as she recuperated from her aerial attack but she had still caught the words that had drifted back towards her.
Apparently Illyria still harbored a grudge against Daenerys's brother. While she had heard the story of Viserys's attack on Illyria and had seen the result of said attack surely she should say something about this to Daenerys ... should she not? Would Daenerys even care to hear about a plot being hatched by one of the khalasar?
Umeko had remained silent on the matter because she felt that she owed Illyria at least that.

Umeko had also been thinking back on her part during the Kalona hunt. Although she had only been thinking of protecting her scouting partner she had still entered the battle. Umeko felt a little bit of shame for partaking in the battle when she had only been content to scout for the Khalasar. Her mother had raised her to believe in nonviolence and yet she had had no qualms about her aerial attack. Was it because it was her desire to protect Astucia that caused her to act against what she had been raised to believe in?
Umeko shook her head rapidly. What should she do? She had two issues plaguing her thoughts consistently. Should she tell Daenerys about Illyria? Should she leave the Khalasar and go back home? Why was she feeling so guilty?

There was a time, not so long ago, that Umeko could remember herself as being weighted down with only flighty concerns. Of course growing up in a large herd as she had these concerns usually didn't amount to anything. The ones that did she had talked about with her mother. But now she felt as if the guilt she was carrying was dragging her down. She couldn't risk talking about one secret with her mother as she knew that it definitely would not stay secret for too long.
Umeko cropped grass as she mulled over what she could do about the second problem she was facing mentally. She would need to return to her gentle upbringing. If that meant a change in what she could do for the Khalasar then so be it.

After much thought on the issues that were plaguing her Umeko had decided on a course of action to resolve herself of the guilt over her first problem. She knew that Illyria had found herself a stranger to these lands but it was not right for the other mare to be able to concoct plans of revenge. However Umeko could still not find it in herself to bring awareness to Illyria's unspoken plot. What she could do though would be to approach her when she returned and perhaps speak to her about the rashness of the decision that she was hatching. Perhaps it would be enough to get Illyria to see sense. If it didn't work then she'd have no choice but to inform Daenerys.
Finally, having a working plan to go by Umeko shuffled her wings before sighing in relief. The guilt was still with her but she had figured out what to do about it.
