Gaia hasn't gone/done anything.  That's why it's gone to shits.
Well... Their money sinks are kinda something, but they're without much significance.

Got back only yesterday from a hiatus and checked the MP to see what new items I've missed... Excuse my language, but HERREJÄVLAR them prices! gonk Where the heck did they get those zeros from!!?!
I don't even dare buying anything because I have no fricking clue what's a decent price for a bottle of ink anymore!

And apparently it's because the Gaia creators are really pushing users to buy Gaia Cash so they can make more money irl. And since ppl are buying it, there's way too much gold in the market.

If it was just GC items the situation wouldn't be so bad. It's the ones that award millions - or billions - of gold at a time.
