After crossing the bridge from Peirs Island to Lovecraft Island, a large rain forest practically bursts into view. With huge trees and thick underbrush, navigating through this forest, even following the path, can be somewhat difficult. Just before the entrance to the forest there is a sign warning trainers that the giant trees block out most of the sunlight, and that they should be careful of wild Pokémon taking advantage of that fact to attack unsuspecting humans.
