Tenrai, if anything is a primary example of never judging a book by its cover. But once you get past those layers, you will find Tenrai is actually a pretty cool and calm guy. Cursed to be tarred by the brush of being a son of a Commoner; Tenrai tried to fit himself within the Commoner Paradigm and unfortunately, failed to do so. His Mother's influence 'marred' him in his Father's opinion. Due to his Mother, Tenrai enjoyed things that celebrated life like dancing and singing, things his Father disapproved of. Thus he has a natural aversion to becoming like his Father and a rivalry that seemed to form for the man.
Alongside this he has incredible control over his emotions, barely even showing surprise when something unexpected happens. He's highly perceptive, observant, analytically, and intelligent, being able to come up with complex strategies to defeat his opponents with ease. Being a graduate from the training camp, he is highly skilled in strategy and tactics, Tenrai has also developed his own skills in deception, to the point where he's able to take on roles outside of his own personality or thoughts, and still come off as natural as ever. Tenrai is also very playful, feeling the need to play with his allies whenever possible, alongside this he's rather flirtatious, and all around suave and dapper. He enjoys teasing others, and being mischievous, his quick-wit is accompanied with a dangerous silver tongue. Tenrai is a master of facades, and can easily acquire a new personality or outward appearance if needed, his skill in deception is just as powerful as his skill in tactics. His image naturally being rather muscular and appealing, he is a very charming and elegant individual, gaining the attention and attraction of those around him with relative ease should he wish to.

*Bio:
Tenrai grew up in a small town within wall alongside his mother and father, and though he was happy as a child, as he grew older he began to dislike his current life. His father was an abusive drunk who found happiness in knowing Tenrai and his mother were afraid of him, and the man would do anything to keep it that way. Tenrai despised his old man, wanting nothing to do with him, though he loved his mother to the point that he talked his dad into leaving her alone, dealing his "punishment" only to Tenrai. Alongside his hatred came a burning determination to get himself and his mother away from his father, and to a better life. With that determination he trained himself into the ground, working his muscles and his mind, bettering himself both physically and mentally. He began training in the way of the sword, and in hand to hand combat. Everyday he was seen training, hoping to one day make something of himself and have a better life with his mother. For years he did this, training and studying. He mastered his sword style within four years, afterwards mastering two hand to hand styles Chinese Kenpo (specializing in Hikaken and Hakkyokuken) with his new found fighting ability he went out, joining the military in hopes of fighting to save the world so he can make it safe for his mother to live in. He knew she was happy to be away from his father, but he himself was lonely. He couldn't settle down with his mother out of fear of bringing bad memories back or bad things to her, so he just traveled as a wandering warrior, willing to fight for anybody if the price was right.
