starting today july 8th through july 31st
over the nintendo network (using mystery gift)
a special patterned vivillon has been released
just wanted to let my fellow pokemon fans know
who had no idea this was going on
and to all who know about this event hopefully we
will get more special release event like this soon

Thats kinda cool. Although hold hands has no battle use unless in a double battle, i think it would boost the other pokemons friendliness towards the trainer, and the description makes me think that both pokemon would take damage from an attack that nprmally only targtted one lol. Facepalm

hopefully the next event that they do is able to be put to good use
like finally releasing diancie in the US

I "Like" Serebii & Smogon on Facebook, so I always get these updates when they come out. I'd suggest anyone who goes on Facebook everyday like me to do the same. It really helps to stay on top of Pokemon News. : P
Anyyywayyy, yeah, I'll download this some time. Doesn't seem too special to me though, but a Downloadable Event is always worth the download. I wonder how much Happiness it adds, if it does at all. We might have a nice new, faster way to raise Happiness to evolve Pokemon like Togepi, etc. Unfortunately, I doubt this method will really be all that fast. But someone will test it out, and I will be sure to leech off their data. ninja
