A large all-you-can-eat buffet restaurant within the heart of the village. The restaurant serves barbeque pork, steaks, various other meats and fish as well as ramen and other sweets.

Kokunai Fuwa
"Big Things Have Small Beginnings"
The haunting aroma of the boulder buffet danced around Kokunai alluring him into a trance that seemed to pull him into the restaurant. When Kokunai entered he saw an extraordinary amount of food all appearing to be freshly made as if they knew Kokunai was coming himself. He eagerly ran forward and grabbed 5 plates and a bowl. Each plate was devoted to its own food. Sesame chicken with fried rice, steak hibachi, pork dumplings smothered in sauce, general tsao's chicken, and a massive bowl of ramen to boot. One whole plate was devoted to extra sauce for each of the dish, Kokunai did not want to interrupt his feast.
He juggled his plates to a corner of the restaurant and slid them off his arms before sitting down intently. He snatched up a pair of chop sticks tore them asunder and began to dig in. A woman walked by and put down a large glass of chocolate milk. Kokunai's ritualistic post training drink. "I wish you could eat some of this Son Goku, it's the best food I have ever eaten" Kokunai though while swallowing the tantalizing dumplings whole. Kokunai had never been so hungry and food had never tasted so good. Son Goku grunted a typical response of his when he had nothing witty to comment on.
Kokunai continued to shovel food down only taking a break to gulp down some chocolate milk before resuming the massacre of food in front of him.

Kokunai let out a painful sigh having gorged himself on almost all the food he could possibly eat. He exhaled slowly attempting to motivate him to move from his current vegetative state. "Ahhh, can't think of a better day" Kokunai said exhaling once more slowly rising from his slumped position preparing himself to get up and move.
He lethargically rose to his feet slumping his dual tanto over his back and waving to the cook before making his exit. Kokunai knew he had to do something to remove some of the pounds he had just put on and figured there would be no better way than to go request a mission or something from the kage. Breathing slowly Kokunai strode off in search of the kage hoping his food baby would subside before the two met.

Kokunai sighed striding back into the restaurant. It had been three years since the exams and this place brought back memories to how young and anxious Kokunai had been that day before the exams. "Just a bowl of ramen with a glass of apple juice" Kokunai said sitting at a table and smiling to the cook in thanks when his order arrived. Kokunai's thoughts still drifted to Yumei wishing he could see her having been apart from her for three years only having letters to lessen that immeasurable distance now between them. "You need to eat more. Training at this rate without restoring lost calories will only hurt you." Goku said in protest to Kokunai's order. Goku had become much more respectful of Kokunai. Not to the point of the two being friends but certainly a vast improvement from three years ago when Kokunai was just a genin. "I know Son goku. We are in no hurry so we can take our time." Kokunai whispered now referring to we almost all the time now insisting that the two were to be recognized and not just the host. This level of respect and dedication to improvement was the main cause for Goku's new regard for Kokunai. It had been admirable in Goku's opinion to see someone defeated and to take that defeat and use it as motivation instead of sorrow. Goku had never seen such determination and it was beginning to chip away at Son Goku's hatred toward humans, or at least this one.

╰★ Kou floated into the restaurant on his cloud. He looked about, taking is seat in a corner. He looked out of place in a buffet, being so small and skinny. He glanced around at other people in the place. Most were with someone else; a date, their family, even just a casual meet up with a friend. Kou, being a foreigner, didn't fit quite in just right. He may have grew up in the village, but he wasn't a native, and that only showed in how awkward he acted in public. The insomniac rubbed his eyes before heading up to the buffet, laying down on his cloud as he got his small bits of food. It looked like a plate one would give to a toddler. The boy made his way back to his table, but as he ate, he stared at one particular person in the restaurant.

Kokunai looked up at the boy staring at him seeing his eyes. Before Kokunai had become a chuunin he would have despised people staring at him but this boy was little and unorthodox as well so Kokunai didn't mind his eyes. Kokunai lifted his left hand and motioned the boy to come join him at his table. The offer was optional and the boy was welcome to decline but Kokunai had hoped he would say yes. After all it isn't every day that you see a boy who has his own personal cloud with him.

╰★ Kou blinked as the other boy invited him over. We're all Iwa natives so friendly? Kou, at first, ignored the invitation, but soon the Genin gave into curiosity. He laid supine on his cloud and floated over to the other boy's table. Kou simply stared at the other boy, not saying a word as his bag ridden eyes studied the Chunin before him. Kou waved in greeting, rolling over on his stomach as he floated on the dark, almost shadowy cloud.

Kokunai returned the wave studying the boy floating on the cloud. "That's quite an interesting technique." Kokunai said eying the cloud as he spoke. "I'm Kokunai, a chuunin." Kokunai said introducing himself to the boy interested to know more about this one. Kokunai noted his bagged eyes and hoped the boy was getting enough sleep, sleep deprivation was a terrible thing and not something Kokunai would wish on anyone. "What a weak little thing." Son goku said to Kokunai the demon grumbling at the meager form before him. "Be polite Son Goku. We cannot all be in as immaculate shape as you." Kokunai thought defending the boy although the two had just met.

╰★ Kou stared intnetly at Kokunai has he introduced himself. Hmmmm Iwa natives were nice, in his opinion. Kou giggled lightly, flapping around one of his long sleeves as the other one pointed at the chair next to Kokunai. A second Kokunai manifested next to the original, looking over and sticking its tongue out before disappearing. Kou sat up on his cloud. "I'm Kou~" he said, leaning back slightly as the cloud formed a resting area for his back. "Kou is a Genin...because he forgot to show up to the exams.." he said, scratching his head lightly. It was obvious that Kou enjoyed speaking in first person. He looked back at Kounai, sighing. "You're looking at Kou's eyes.." he said, chuckling.

"Well that is a very interesting ability you have Kou." Kokunai said looking at the copy of himself before it disappeared. It was obvious Kou had some sort of kekkei genkai that allowed him to perform such feats but it was not one Kokunai was familiar with and as such interested him greatly. "I would offer you a chair but you seem quite comfortable. It's not a big deal that you forgot about the exams I'm sure they will come around again soon." Kokunai said with a light tone hoping to reassure the boy. "I was looking at your eyes, you see quite tired." Kokunai said hinting at the apparent bags under Kou's eyes.

╰★ "Thanks, Kokunai." Kou said, smiling slightly. His Kekkai Genkai wasn't something most people could comprehend when they first saw it. The boy laughed lightly. "Nahh. Kou's not worried about it." He groaned, flipping over his pair of chop sticks on the table. He looked up at the Chuunin and smirked. "Now that I think about it, Kou has only slept for an hour in the last three days. I guess he is sorta tired." Kou tapped on his cheek. He wanted to see Kokounai's reaction. Most people were appalled by the fact that someone could still function after not sleeping for so long. He'd explain to him later. But he was more interested about Kokunai's abilities. He had to be strong, being a Chuunin.

"An hour?" Kokunai said allowed in an obviously mystified tone. It was incredible to boy was able to do something like that. Kokunai would have most likely died by this point or entered a coma and passed out. Either way this boy was definitely different and the more he spoke the more interested Kokunai became this boys abilities were quite incredible really. "Would you be willing to tell me about your kekkei genkai?" Kokunai asked allowed hoping the boy would share his abilities with Kokunai. Kokunai was quite the curious boy and once something peeked his interests it seemed to almost be an insatiable curiosity and Kokunai would have to learn more.

╰★ The genin smirked. He'd hooked him. Kou surely knew how to lead someone on, and he enjoyed doing it too. Kou's eyes looked around before landing back on Kokunai. "My Kekkai Genkai allows me to bring hallucinations to reality..in order to do so, I mustn't sleep much. The mind can only hallucinate after it's deprived of sleep after all." he said chuckling. "So at most, I sleep for two hours a day, if I want to." he said, putting his face down on the table. "What about you? You've got to have something special, Mr. Chuunin."

"Interesting, are these hallucinations reality? So could you create a hallucination of myself that could produce physical damage or is it all merely an illusion?" Kokunai asked not really caring how much he prodded the boy with questions. Kokunai was curious of this power and wanted to know more. "I have no born talent such as yourself, just a gift given to me by someone very special." Kokunai said a slight smile crossing his face. "Don't think flattery will work with me." Son Goku said with a chuckle attempting to ignore the boys praise. "Don't act like you don't love it. You would be smitten if I bragged about you to everyone." Kokunai said playfully. Kokunai's relationship with his demon had really grown over the three years. His demon rarely insulted him now and often gave good council as if watching Kokunai's hardships over the years was finally beginning to win Goku over. "With that much sleep deprivation I would have to guess there are some serious side effects." Kokunai said aloud pondering the idea himself. This boy must be weak almost constantly due to his ability. Though possibly it was worth it.

╰★ Kou was almost shocked that this boy even cared, let alone seemed interested in his Kekkai Genkai. Most people just passed him as a chronic insomniac. It made him happy in a way to know that people wanted to hear him out. "Oh~ Kou's hallucinations are no illusion. However. I'm not at the point to where I can have hallucinations of people be able to preform jutsu yet...Simple kicks and punches are a go, though." he said chuckling slightly at his rhyme. He looked at Kokunai as he spoke. "No born talent huh?" he thought to himself, trying to come to a conclusion about him. Kou soon released the thought from his mind. "Side effects? Yeah...those are there. No Taijutsu for Kou-kun. That's a no-no. Plus, there's the fact that I could potentially destroy my own mind if I hallucinate too much..But Kou gets headaches when he's near his limit."
