This is where the leader of Iwagakure rests and works. Not much else to say.

A knock was heard at the door. Kokunai's fist had lightly tapped against the door that led to the kages office. It was only natural to go see the kage after becoming a genin and since Kokunai had just been made one he might as well start here. "I wonder if I will get assigned a squad, perhaps training will begin immediately, or maybe even a mission" Kokunai contemplated these ideas while awaiting an answer. "Why must you waste my time by coming here?" Goku bellowed in Kokunai's mind. Goku never was one for patience and despised almost all humans so the thought of being forced to be in the company of others only riled him up. "Calm down Goku, I must show respect. I give you the same respect, the Kage has asked to see me and so see him we shall. If you behave we can go somewhere secluded and relax after these matters are settled" Kokunai thought to Goku allowing a chuckle to escape at the playful comment he had. "Don't patronize me boy, I am stuck in here and you should show me the respect I deserve!" Goku shouted in Kokunais head never being one to enjoy games. "Oh relax I was only kidding. You have been in here for seventeen years, I know you can tell when I am joking." Kokunai pondered to Goku. He awaited an answer from the kage while trying to settle down the demon within himself.
The door opened, seemingly of its own accord. Inside, sat a rather large man. He was not large in an obese sense of the word, being of a very lean and powerful fit, readily apparent even through the concealing fabrics of his loose, billowy robes. Nor was he overly large in the sense of bulkiness, though he was tall and possessed wide, brawny shoulders. This man, sitting studiously at his desk and scribbling notes onto the latest mission report was large, in that his presence was large. This man's very aura, his actions and even his stillness were large. It was very well that this man was large, for this man was the Tsuchikage.
Rising from his chair smoothly, the Tsuchikage stood, looking quite regal. As usual, he wore a comfortable white nagajuban and black yukata layered over each other. Hanging proudly around his waist was a wide obi, with the symbol of his village gracefully rendered. Over this was worn a more formal haori, of a soft beige color, with light brown patterns rising up the bottom. Finally, the Tsuchikage carried a somewhat faded, but still very pink kimono, slung rather haphazardly over his shoulder. The Tsuchikage's hair was very long, stretching down to at least his belt level, worn slung over his right shoulder. In addition, he had deep stubble across his face, creating a rather impressive 5 'o clock shadow across his lean, angular face. The formal hat of office was resting serenely on his head, the symbol of Tsuchi no Kuni boldly drawn.
The man cleared his throat politely, looking towards the newcomer with a kind, somewhat fatherly smile. "I assume you are Kokunai Fuwa, yes? Please sit down, child. Would you care for tea?" He asked, gently pulling a chair over and pouring two small cups with the steaming beverage. Sitting back down, the Tsuchikage took his cub, sipping deeply in spite of the intense heat. Sighing contentedly, the Tsuchikage put his cup back, pursing his lips as he thought. After a moment, the man extended his hand, for a shake. "My name is Mokuba Shakuhachi. I am the current Tsuchikage, the leader of the fair village of Iwagakure. But of course, you know that, Kokunai Fuwa. You are here to become an official member of the Shinobi Corps of Iwagakure, yes?" Mokuba asked, pulling a clean, shining headband from his office and reverently placing it metal plate face-up in front of the boy.

Kokunai Fuwa
"Big Things Have Small Beginnings"
Kokunai nodded as he entered the room, he strode across and took a seat in the chair in front of the Kages desk. Kokunai was tall and lean for his age but definitely fit. Standing six foot three he had a very agile build yet he was surprisingly strong for how wiry he was. "I will pass on tea" Kokunai said politely before fixing his eyes on the kage. "This man looks like an idiot. He might even be worse than you" Goku spoke to Kokunai allowing a detesting laugh to echo through Kokunai's mind. "Be quiet Goku, let the man speak" Kokunai spoke to his demon softly and politely almost the same way one would speak to a child.
"It is a pleasure to finally meet you Shakuhachi-sama, that is precisely why I have come" Kokunai spoke in a calm and polite tone though on the inside his body was roaring with excitement. Kokunai had been waiting for this moment ever since he could remember. The chance to finally begin protecting those around him and to begin his quest to becoming the strongest shinobi he could be. "Big things have small beginnings" Kokunai mused to himself looking at the small headband before him but knowing the magnitude of what that little piece of metal symbolized.

Looking the boy up and down approvingly, Mokuba politely withdrew the tea cup after the genin declined it. Smiling again, Mokuba took a small cherry-flavored sweet from his desk, popping it into his mouth and sucking on it. "I find that most Genin," he began. "are simply bundles of nerves when they arrive for their headbands. Your docility and manners are highly appreciated, Kokunai. Now, for the time being, due to your status," he said. "More specifically, your status as the Jinchuuriki of the proud and noble Son Goku, you will not be placed on a normal genin team. Rather, I and the other Jounin of the village will see to your training personally. I will not sugarcoat things here, my young friend. You are different, vastly different from any other ninja. Not only due to the Bijuu inside of you, but because of the methods through which it was installed. I personally oversaw the sealing, you know. In fact, it was right around when I re-entered the public eye. It was one of my first actions, and I can proudly say that it was not bungled in any way. Your seal repairs itself, Kokunai. It reacts with stimuli, both within and without. Even when tapping into Son Goku's chakra, with his express permission I would add, the seal is designed in such a way that you will experience the minimum of pain. Learn to work with Son. He is not a weapon, as I'm sure you know. He is a powerful entity with his own goals and aspirations, and the most you or he can strive for is a partnership." With those words, the Tsuchikage sighed, remembering days gone by and deeds from the far past. His face grew more serious as he delivered his instructions to Kokunai, all signs of silliness or joviality gone. Then, with nary a sign, he became his smiling, kind self again. "But of course, those are things to consider, not priorities. Go out, celebrate, train, do whatever it is that you see fit to improve our fair village. The Will of Stone lives on in each of you, child. It will make you strong, impenetrable as our walls and as firm as the countless brave souls who have inhabited the village over the years. I know you will do the village proud." With that, Mokuba sat, efficiently going through his reports once more.

He himself was polite and tried to keep his manners as old school as he could, but he was born in a generation that shows respect in a slightly different way than Mokuba's generation. Rin smiled as he knocked on the door, he heard two voices so he figured he wasn't alone, but he was called to the office for a reason. He figured it had something to do with the group, he waited a moment before entering and standing by the door that he had just closed, "Good day, Tsuchikage-sama. How is your day thus far?" He looked towards the boy that was in front of Mokuba, the boy had a headband in front of him so he figured that the boy was indeed Kokunai Fuwa, he heard that the boy was the true Jinchuuriki to Son Goku. He smiled, "Kokunai Fuwa, It is nice to meet you. I am Rin Setsuko, Jounin Commander of Iwagakure." He said this in a calm lax voice he strolled over closer to the two of them, as he did he placed his right hand behind his neck as he moved his head side to side cracking it ever so slightly. ☆═━┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈━═☆

Mokuba smiled broadly, allowing Rin inside. "Ah, Rin, it's wonderful to see you. I have been fine, as usual. Would you care for some tea, child?" He asked, pouring another small cup for the Jounin Commander. "I see you have recognized our guest of honor here," Mokuba said, grinning slightly. The Tsuchikage put one hand behind his back and pushed, exhaling contentedly as a rather audible crack resounded. "Much better," he muttered, mostly to himself. Simply sitting there, Mokuba went back to his paperwork. Whatever Rin had to ask, he could ask at his own pace; Mokuba hated to rush things or force the Jounin Commander to speak before he was ready to speak. It was simply impolite.

Kokunai Fuwa
"Big Things Have Small Beginnings"
Kokunai nodded once more taking the headband and fashioning it around his waste. After the kage finished Kokunai paused for a second to collect his thoughts so he could form a cohesive response. "That is fine, I understand your point" Kokunai spoke softly with a hint of disappointment in his voice. Kokunai had always received this sort of treatment and while he was expecting it he had hoped to be placed in a squad. "Quit whining, you should be grateful that I am inside of you. That old man even said it himself that the seal will give you maximum benefits when I decide to grace you with my chakra" Goku spoke inside Kokunai being able to constantly feel his emotion whilst being trapped inside him. "Key word is when, you never lend me your strength Goku. I am simply berated by you day and night and I must endure this when all I show you is Respect" Kokunai mused emphasizing the word respect as he thought. Kokunai could feel the silence within him at that remark and a relaxed sigh slowly left his body, knowing Goku had at least for a moment felt remorse for his behavior.
"Very will Shakuhachi-sama, is there anything you would ask of me before I go?" Kokunai asked wondering if his kage had any tasks for him to do before he went out on his own. Kokunai's ears perked up at the sound of another entering, he rose and turned to the guest to see a man who was taller and far larger than himself. The man introduced himself as Rin Setsuko, "It nice to meet you as well Setsuko-sama" Kokunai spoke in a calm and polite tone realizing he was in the presence of two very high ranking shinobi. "Perhaps this is one of the shinobi who will be over seeing my training; he looks quite strong, perhaps he enjoys taijutsu. Judging by the crossed sword he must enjoy some level of sword play" Kokunai mused thinking of his own two tanto that laid on his back as well. Besides the muscular difference the two seemed to have a pretty similar build, tall and rather lean with an athletic form.
"Calm down child, you just met his name it isn't as if he has been assigned to you" Goku said with an amused chuckle. Kokunai was not a particularly social person, and part of this was due to Goku's desire to mock or discourage Kokunai from pursuing any sort of contact with them. Goku despised most humans and as such disliked being in the presence of them. The longer Kokunai was around someone the more disgruntled Goku would become until he would threaten to try to take over.
Kokunai stepped aside from the two awaiting a response from the kage about any possible jobs he might have for the newly appointed genin. Kokunai slipped his hands into his pockets which was his habitual move when awaiting a response or when in the company of other people. Kokunai was calm and relaxed on his exterior, carrying himself in front of those two with an abnormal level of confidence. It was not arrogance, Kokunai knew full well the two men in front of him could easily beat him even with Goku but he had been looked down upon from so many people for so long that Kokunai had learned not to mind and so when being in the presence of two who didn't look down on him gave him a level of confidence he rarely got to experience.

Turning to the child, he detected a faint hint of disappointment. Better to address it here in as mature a manner as possible before Kokunai misinterpreted. "Genin-san," Mokuba said, addressing the boy by his new title, a sign of respect. "I would like you, and more importantly I would like Son, to hear me out on this. You will not be coddled. You will not be elevated beyond other genin. This is not supplementary training, my child. This is extra. You have great potential, as do we all, but yours lies in more obscure places, due to Son Goku. I expect you to perform all your normal duties as a Genin with a Jounin sensei. Any training I do with you, or Setsuko-san, provided that he's willing, will be beyond what is required. If at any time you don't wish to undergo this training, you have but to decline it. I will say this once more for clarity, though I do not doubt that you are a very attentive boy. This will not replace your genin training." Finished with his explanation, Mokuba sipped again at his tea, by this time much cooler than it was at the beginning of the conversation. After a few moments of very awkward silence, Mokuba spoke up again. "As for Son," he said, seemingly speaking directly to the proud Tailed Beast. "I hold no rank over you. In fact, you are innumerable tiers above me in age, strength, and wisdom. However, as the leader of this village and the caretaker of every life within it, I must find the courage to ask you, however rude it may seem, to act in accordance with what is best for Kokunai. Nobody, myself foremost, wishes ill to befall you. It would do well, though I hope you excuse my impudence, for you to remember that, Son Goku." Once again, Mokuba turned to Kokunai. "I advise you to train, Kokunai-san. Train long, and hard, and expand your mind, as you strengthen your body. Without one, the other is useless. After this conversation, I shall do a fair bit of training myself, so if you require help I shall provide it." With that sage advice, Mokuba turned once again to Rin and his paperwork.

Kokunai Fuwa
"Big Things Have Small Beginnings"
Kokunai stared a Mokuba motionless as he spoke. It had been the first time he felt like a child in well forever. A small slip in Kokunai's phlegmatic disposition and Mokuba was instantly able to detect and uproot it. After a few moments of speechlessness Kokunai managed to snap out of it. "I.. I thank you." Kokunai said his words getting caught in his mouth something that never happened to him. "I appreciate your words, and I will never turn down training. So whenever you or Setsuko-sama wishes to train me I will always be available" Kokunai spoke softly and composed having recollect himself. Kokunai's favorite thing was to push himself and become stronger so training was one of his favorite things. Gaining the ability to train with such esteemed teachers excited Kokunai beyond belief. "We will speak about this man later Kokunai" Son spoke in a tone Kokunai had never heard before. It was a serious tone as if something extremely concerning had been raised to Sons attention.
"I will go do both, I'm sure neither of you will have trouble finding me and you are welcome to come" Kokunai pronounced before tilting his head down slightly in respect to the two before taking his leave.

His conversation with the Genin and his Bijuu finished, Mokuba went back to his work, leafing through reports. Companies he had invested in with the village's money had been doing very well, yielding rather generous profits for Iwa as a whole. This in turn yielded a much larger budget for the village itself, most of which went into Research and Development, who were working on fuinjutsu seals that would allow for almost instant irrigation, which in turn would end Iwagakure's dependence on other Lands for more tropical fruit and vegetable goods. As usual, Mokuba waited for the Jounin to start things, never rushing the boy.

"This curse is more like a gift,
☆═━┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈━═☆ Rin listened to the two of them as he began drinking the tea that was offered to him, he was rather happy that everything was going well, the Genin seemed rather disapointed at the mention of special training but when reassured he would be part of a team as well he became excited once again. He could tell the Genin was genuine when saying it was nice to meet, he figured after his help was offered he couldn't resist, "I would gladly help train Fuwa-chan. With him being the true Jinchuuriki to Goku-sama and me being the mock Jinchuuriki I think the more time we spend training the better our chances in keeping it a secret among our village." His voice was lax as always he always seemed as if he was in a constant emotionless state, however it was rather the opposite it was just his past guiding his words as he spoke. He noticed the way the Genin looked at him, with a slight smile he took another drink, he was observing Rin it made him happy to know the boy was at least a little interested in him. He also noticed they had a similar appearance, this would further confuse others about the true Jinchuuriki. Before he could speak out again, Mokuba began speaking. He seemed as intelligent as ever, speaking directly to Son Goku, he was sure to get a rise out of the beast. He was rather excited to train a Genin, to be honest it would be his first Genin that would follow in his footsteps no matter how minor those footsteps were. He figured the boy was interested in learning a similar style to himself, with the Tanto crossed on his back and the athletic build as well as a beast that increased his physical attributes, they had more than enough in common for Rin to teach him and guide him in the right direction as a Shinobi. He watched as the boy left, "Is there anything that needs my immediate attention. If not I am sure I can find something to occupy myself, Training sounds like a good option." He said as he finished his tea and set the cup down, he awaited an answer from Mokuba and sat down to relax a bit before having to go out and train or complete a task if asked to do so. ☆═━┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈━═☆

"Ahh, so that's what you were here for. Well, Setsuko-san, you may train, if you so wish. In addition, when you have the free time, not necessarily right now, I would appreciate if you could relay this package to the Walls." Withdrawing a parcel wrapped in brown paper and festooned with rubber bands, Mokuba gave it to the Jounin. "It's paperwork authorizing additions to the inner walls. We're going to bring in the workers in about a week, this is so that the materials arrive by then."

"This curse is more like a gift,
☆═━┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈━═☆ Rin nodded when given the task by Mokuba, "I would be glad to complete this task for you, Tsuchikage-sama." He said with a slight bow before grabbing hold of the package, placing it in a bag that was secured to the back side of his belt. Hearing what the package was for he smiled, "It is about time our walls be re-enforced, I can't remember the last time this villages defenses had an upgrade. However we are one of the safest villages due to our location, we hold the best natural stronghold out of the villages. That is not to say increasing our actual defenses is not needed, we would profit from the extra fortitude of our walls." He smiled as he turned to walk out of the office, he would complete the mission first, although Mokuba was not as strict as the previous Kage's, Rin would treat him the same as the others he would carry out this mission before anything else. If need be Rin would drop everything to comply with the Tsuchikage, it was just in the nature of the Iwa Shinobi even if the Kage changes the shinobi would still follow him till their dying breath, and would die early if commanded to do so. He stopped for a moment, "Is there anything else you need before I leave, Tsuchikage-sama." He asked one last time as he opened the door and readied himself to leave. ☆═━┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈━═☆
I will protect everyone and everything I care about to my dying breath."
Mokuba gently shook his head, smiling at Rin. Such a nice kid he was, even from a young age. It was dutiful shinobi like Setsuko-san that made Iwa great. "Not at all, Setsuko-san. You have the rest of the day to do with what you wish, child." He said, his tanned and wrinkled face beaming, not appearing like the almost 50-year old that he was. Quietly refilling his cup, the Tsuchikage sipped at his tea, allowing the aromatic qualities of the drink take him back to another, happier time. This was his wife's favorite brew of tea, and Mokuba almost exclusively drank it alone. He remembered when he was newly-wed, and she had tried to make some for him. He had nearly spit it out, pretending to like it. Over time, he truly did begin to like the brew, and it was no longer an act. Sadly, gone were such times, gone like almost everyone he knew. Mokuba idly wiped a stray tear from his dark cheek. Taking a few calming breaths, the crack in his armor was gently mended, and the Tsuchikage was implacable yet again. "I hope you have a wonderful day, lad." He said, leafing through a photo album of his old team.
