Uzal was in a slight spot of trouble. It had all started out pretty simply. His father mentioned that he'd had some of his golden thread stolen, so Uzal had volunteered to find and retrieve the illegally-acquired item. Everything had gone according to plan; he'd gotten the information he needed, located the thief, and stolen back the precious thread. And then she'd caught his thievery. He was happy that his hat didn't fly off--and the thread stashed underneath it stayed where it was--as he ran. He was very lucky that he hadn't been caught until he was flipping the hat onto his head; if he'd been caught earlier, the she-devil chasing him would've surely had an easier time stealing back the golden thread from him. Up ahead, he saw a black mass--a stallion he'd seen once or twice before on his more southern routes. He quickly changed course so that they would meet up. "My thanks and apologies in advance," he called as he slipped around the black, winged stallion--Ty or something--at full speed. Hopefully the quick maneuver wouldn't be replicated by the angry mare chasing him.

Tynan was standing on the outskirts of his newly claimed territory, wating patiently with his handsome self for something interesting to happen when Uzal flew past with only a few parting words between them. Huh, tres peculiar. He had seen Uzal once or twice, seemed like an alright guy. But what was all the fuss about today? He wondered idly. Was there some problem that Tynan didn't know about?

To say there was a storm coming was an understatement. "When I catch him, I'm going to kill him." Gale raged as she ran full speed among the trees. Stealing the golden threads was the biggest feat she had ever accomplished. It took careful planning and flawless execution and now they were gone, because she was careless. "Nobody steals from me! I stole those threads fair and square!" She had lost sight of the stallion a few trees Back. She was running full speed, when she came to a clearing. There was no sign of the stallion. And then she saw something move in the night. Another stallion, black as night. Not the one she was looking for. But maybe he'd seen the culprit. "Did you see a stallion running by here?" she asked pacing around, looking through the trees for a sign of him not even paying attention to the black stallion.

Now should he tell her or not? That was the question..hmm well Uzal had left him with her...she must be what the apology was for and he couldn't really see why..well besides the blazing temper but on a delicate female that just looked adorable..maybe she had a hidden weapon or talent? Ah crap..now he was curious.
"Masked bandit looking guy? Yes I did, you have some quarrel with him madam?" She didn't look like she was ready to swallow one of his flirts with the first words out of his mouth so he tried to talk..like well not normal for him but normal for others. He couldn't help being who he was, he enjoyed being a prat and the hardest things he had ever done involved restraining his tongue. The thought made him smirk the tiniest bit.

Gale looked around the clearing for any trace of the thief. When the black stallion answered her, she snapped her head back and answered him with a growl "Damn right I've got a quarrel with him.. Now which way did he go?!" She was restless now, her tail swishing back and fourth violently, she trotted toward the stallion. "He stole from me, that dog!"

"Well I hope it wasn't your heart, I could pummel him for you, but it looks as though you want that pleasure for yourself and I'm not one to keep people from their..pleasure."
She was a fighter, he could sense it and that just made him want to drool the slightest, tinyest bit. He had always liked strong females. Avignon was such and so was this intriguing little fireball. She seemed a bit hot to be called a minx with all the fiery ball of death burning for Uzal in her eyes. He didn't like that she was burning for another male. Her wildest fantasy was right her, standing like a dark god. Albeit a slightly jealous dark god. Did gods get jealous?
Anyway, the here and now the here and now was beautiful and he would be amiss not to entice her to stick around somewhat longer. "He went um either this way or that way, leaving quite fast." Of course if this was what had been chasing him, well there were worse ways to go~
Then again Uzal had a thing about females, not a good thing either. And if he were to harm this ahem delicate flower..snort. Well then Tynan would feel like a great beautiful, insanely handsome ball of well...dung.

Gale's mouth made the shape an "O" as one of her eyebrows rose up, speechless and confused.. That was hard to accomplish and the fact that this stallion managed to accomplish it in one sentence was astounding. She was not expecting to be met with such suave coolness while her mind was set on kill and revenge.
After a few seconds, fire flashed back in her eyes before she smiled and made her slow, menacing way toward him. "Listen... whoever you are. I don't have time for your... sweet talk. Either you know where he went or you don't. My bet is you do. So tell me right now or I swear, it will be my 'pleasure' to make you rue the day you decided to keep me from my treasure" she growled as she got right in his face her teeth bared.

Gods she was gorgeous, bared teeth and all. Feisty too. Oh he was in big doo doo now. "South."
He could feel the fire coming off her. But it had stopped for a moment. That was a good sign, it showed there was a brain behind the burning eyes. What was he to do now, besides thank Uzal for his gift. "I might know the trail. He is crafty, like a deer, so it would make sense he would wiggle through the deer trails, can you track someone you don't know?"
"You have to think like him."

She smiled at him, half a smile and half a sneer. Feeling triumphant, she said "Of course I can track. But since you know where he might have gone through, why don't you lead the way... please" Being that close to the stallion made her see how handsome he really was. Not that she would say anything to him.

Tynan blinked. "Of course," he nodded his head. He kind of wanted to add, 'My Goddess,' but thought in her current riled state he might reverse the effect of that please she had given him. More worth then the reddest ruby. Usually when a mare found him it was "hit the road jack..or phil or whatever your name is. Perhaps it was his charm, perhaps they couldn't handle the pressure, perhaps they had a mate, or perhaps they hadn't really looked at his face hard enough, carved by masters as it was.
He pranced up ahead showing off his body to the most beautiful thing on four legs. Snarling, snapping, whirling delight! What lay beneath those eyes that coat? Was her heart the gem he hoped it would be? Or was it cracked, tarnished...would those imperfections, such as they were make her a better mare over all? He wasn't perfect...but nearly so...he thought. He could be lying to himself but being insecure did not help with the ladies.
He bent his nose to the ground and caught Uzal's scent..did he owe anything to this stallion, besides the mare? Was he fickle enough to lead her right up to his doorstep with himself there to protect her?
Yes he was.

Gale rolled her eyes at the obvious show of masculinity. She decided not to comment on it however, not wanting to feed more fuel to the fire. They tracked the other stallion what seemed like forever, with barely a word in between them. The silence gave her an opportunity to go from hot fury to a cold and calculated anger. Which probably wasn't better mood to be.
Finally, after a few more minutes, Gale could not contain herself any longer. "Are you sure you know where you are going? It has been a a while already." After a while she added "I am Gale by the way."

"My name is Tynan, and the stallion you are after, Uzal, is fast and he moves like a ghost through some of this stuff. I am tracking him, but short of flying and leaving you here to stew we cannot follow him any faster."
It seemed that some of his sultry spice had worn off with all the exersize. He spotted another track and paused to get a good wiff. Uh oh, that wasn't Uzal. He wandered around looking for Uzal's trail and not whatever mare that was.. "He seems to have mixed his trail with others, clever brat that he is. Ahh here." He ducked into a nearly completely overgrown deer trail, narrower then the last one. "I think we are catching up."

"You know him?" she asked him warily as they tracked along "How?" She was not sure she could trust this stallion. But then, again what choice did she have? Tynan, knew him and he also knew how sneaky he was. She would just have to go along with it for now. If things turned precarious, she would just sneak away.
"Catching up is good" She replied. Gale could not wait to trample this Uzal to death.

"Thank you, Uzal."Uzal nodded to the smiling, pink Azrein in front of him, glancing over his shoulder. "Don't mention it. Just be more careful next time. A merchant who can't keep a hoof on his wares won't make a profit." As Naveen smiled sheepishly at him, a second voice made the masked stallion turn. "Don't taunt your brother too much, Uzal. His opponent was an expert, after all." Grimm Fate glided over and stood by Naveen, smiling that cryptic smile of his. Uzal smirked behind his mask. "You're lucky that she didn't still you and make you spin gold 'til you dropped." Grimm chuckled. "I believe a stallion is a little harder to steal than a spool of golden thread. Regardless, good work on retrieving it." Uzal nodded and looked over his shoulder again. "... You two should get going. I'm sure that my distraction won't hold the lady thief for long."

"I have seen him around and heard many stories highlighting his prowess as an undercover operator, slippery like an eel and sly as a weasel, but not without his vices."
Tynan kept his nose pointed in the direction of where he though Uzal had gone and soon enough they were on the edge of the deer trail looking out on a group of other azrein. "Told you I would find it."
Tynan heard the words and smirked. He was also sure that holding back was not on the sparky little mares agenda, she would rain her spite down on them in a glorious storm of fire and lightning. He watched her face.
