Takeru Totsuka  "The water is alive. Once you dive in, it will immediately bare its fangs and attack." Murder doesn’t necessarily mean evil, right? FULL NAME: Takeru Totsuka
ALIAS : Throughout Gehenna, Takerua is known to be one of Egyn's most proficient fighters. As such, the Demon King of Water gave him the title Oceanus. Named after the Greek Primordial God and Personification of the Sea itself. The name Oceanus states that despite actually being a demon, Takeru is seen as one of the Gods of the Water, titles given to only the greatest fighters serving under Egyn. Before his twin brother's crippling, they were known as Pisces, or the Twin Fish. Pisces had long been seen as a a major threat to any who faced them in battle due to their ability to read each others movements and anticipate their next actions without the need to vocalize anything. Together, the Twin fish toppeled any foes that presented themselves and in time, became the left and right hands of Egyn. Since his twin's crippling, his name simply became The Right Hand of Egyn as another demon took the left hand position soon after. When one is being truly formal, they tend to call him "Oceanus, the Right Hand of Egyn.". While all of these are titles he gained from combat or other physical activities, what many within the Gehenna know him as, is the Prince of Water.
NICKNAMES: To Takeru, he has no nicknames aside from the titles given to him by those of his Kingdom and his father. If there are nicknames for him, he is unaware of them and is not really paying attention to them either.

HUMAN POSSESSION APPEARANCE: Being a demon who is completely proud of his heritage and all that makes him what he is, Takeru has never even thought of putting on a human facade. Such an act would only serve to disgrace his King, and that is something he simply can not have. Given that he looks so similar to that of a normal human, he simply walks the street as thought it were nothing. If a human were to question him, he would simply lie and state that he is playing a role in an upcoming film before walking off.
PARTIAL DEMON APPEARANCE: Takeru possesses a color scheme similar to the sea itself, and with his dark-skin, toned and muscular body creating a contrast with his extremely spiky light hair, he seems to be a personification of the very sea itself. His hair is decorated with spikes jutting outwards, even on top of his head, and a pair of short strands framing his forehead. Takeru's hair also extends down to the middle of his back. He possesses black eyes each linked to the corresponding side of his face by a linear tattoo which forks in proximity to the eye, and two dark protrusions reminiscent of membranous fins sit at the sides of his head. He also wears a crown which bears a dark gem. He also sports an earring shaped like a shell on each ear, and a light necklace with a similarly shaped (though larger) pendant hanging from it. Takeru wears an indument made of scales, this being a massive belt which extends downwards on his legs' sides to cover the lower part of his somewhat loose pants. A massive, dark ribbon is tied diagonally on the left part of his chest, going above his left shoulder in close proximity to his neck, around his wrists are massive dark bracelets with light edges (the left one of which is paired with some bandages going up the corresponding arm), and yet another bracelet, adorned by a series of dark and light triangles, is found on the hiss left bicep. His tale is similar to that of the scales that extend down his legs. It is wrapped tightly around his waist and covered by a think covering of similar scales that seem to form a thick belt. Takeru also carries a long trident with him. In its posterior part, it has an adorned fish scale in the edge, while an eel-like garnish rolls around the handle. In the anterior part, the trident is featured as a plated Pisces' sign, that's compressed with salient borders and has two dots in its lower parts.
TRUE DEMON APPEARANCE: As opposed to other demons, Takeru does not have a "true demon appearance". His body does not contort nor does he grew any extra limbs. Instead, his true demon appearance is signified only by his hair glowing to the point that it seems to be white in color. Likewise, the tattoo markings that are found near his eyes also begin to glow as well.

BLOOD COLOR: The color of Takeru's blood is that of steelblue, which many believe to simply be a representation of the King he serves. Due to the color of his blood, whenever he is actually wounded to a point that he actually begins to bleed, it looks more like water from the ocean as opposed to actual blood.

HAIR COLOR: Gray
PIERCINGS: Both of Takeru's ears are pierced, and have been pierced for as long as he can remember. The earrings he sports are designed like that of an ordinary shell.
TATTOOS : The corresponding sides of his face each bear a black linear tattoo which forks in proximity to his eyes, and extend to the base of his cheeks.
DISTINGUISHING FEATURES: Takeru's most distinguishing features would be his hair color, the tattoos near his eyes, and membranous fins sit at the sides of his head.

Spearmanship
Takeru is hailed as one of Gehenna most prominent spear wielders. He fights with a two meter spear, allowing him to only need to attack when an opponent enters his range. Such a distance as three meters between him an the opponent matters little, so while it is easier to thrust at an approaching enemy instead of moving out, he will still quickly close the distance between an opponent instead. The main strength of the weapon is in its swings rather than thrusting as its shape would indicate. Its wide swing utilizes its long range to not allow the enemy to dodge by stepping back. Partial retreat from a strike will not allow for escape, attempting a counterattack would result in receiving a slashed stomach, and simply going forward will result in a smashed rib from the long shaft of the lance. Thrusts are still dangerous, but it is possible to avoid an attack that targets a specific point once it has been seen through to allow for the strike to be redirected to create an opening. Takeru is able to wiled his spear efficiently in both hands and despite not being a style used by any, he is also capable of wielding his spear backwards and switching between a forward and reverse grip.
Reflexes
In order to truly become one of hands of Egyn, one must be able to think on their feet and react accordingly. To have swift reflexes of the highest class and to never squander a second's chance. Takeru possesses an incredible amount of reflexive ability and is known to react almost immediately.
Submerged Combat
As a water demon , fighting beneath the surface of the water is the one thing that most opponents try to avoid when facing Takeru. While under the water, those outside of the Kin of Egyn have little to no shot at besting him. His proficiency in underwater combat is far superior to his combat levels when on dry land.

And that’s what they call the law of Karma, my friends. PERSONALITY:
Takeru is an extremely proud and noble warrior who wishes to serve his King and father Egyn, to the best of his abilities and without fail. Takeru appears somewhat cold, obedient, logical, and standoffish; having shown no real reaction when his twin brother was rendered immobile due to a uprising within the Kingdom of Egyn. He does not seem to be close to anyone outside his little brother, Tsukito and that of his family. When it comes to new people, Takeru tends to be very suspicious of them, often going out of his way just to watch them to find out their motives and whether or not they'll try to betray him at a later date. Though he is absolutely stoic in appearance, Takeru does have a conscience. Most notably, he feels guilty for not being able to save his younger brother from the fate he suffered. He genuinely cares for his family, and the few that he manages to call friend, and has been shown to go to great lengths to save them when they are endangered. LIKES: As a demon of and from the water, Takeru loves being near the ocean itself. The amount of free and unrestricted water always serves to calm him down. Likewise, he also enjoys swimming and various other aquatic activities. Putting aquatics aside, Takeru has a soft spot for canines. He finds them to be very loyal and a creature worth saving no matter what happens. If he were to tell the truth, he would prefer the company of a dog over that of a human any day. Takeru has also taken a liking to the pastries of Assiah, specifically, Strawberry Cake. For him Strawberry Cake is one of the few human dishes worth eating. His love for it extends so far that within Gehenna, he has been getting the cooks with Egyn's Kingdom to begin making it.
DISLIKES: Humans. While this may be a dislike based solely on the actions of the mercenaries that attacked and killed both his mother and twin brother, Takeru can not stand humans or the world they inhabit. Despite having been half-human at one point in his life and having a human mother, he finds humans to be worthless creatures worthy only of death. The only humans to escape such a harsh judgement are typically those within the baking profession. Aside from humans, Takeru does not like Assiah in general. It is only out of respect for his deceased twin that he remains in Assiah, trying to figure out what about it made his twin decide to live there instead of Gehenna.
HOBBIES: Takeru's most notable hobby would be swimming. Whenever the chance presents itself to him, he takes full advantage of it regardless of whether he should or not. Another of his hobbies would be eating Strawberry Cake and watching events unfold quietly.

 That’s why good or bad, the ones who are left standing are the ones with the strongest wills to survive. DEMONOLOGY: Kin of Egyn [ Former Half-Demon ]
DEMON CLASS: B+
ORGANIZATION: Royal Guard of Egyn
ORGANIZATION CLASS: Right Hand of Egyn
AFFILIATION: While he is serving as his father's right hand, it is odd for one to state what Takeru has truly affiliated himself with. If one were to ask him, he would respond by stating that he is affiliated to his father and to that of himself. The reason being, there are times in which he disagrees with his father or simply wishes to go off on his own without questioning.
BASE OF OPERATIONS: Due to a conflict of interests with his father, Takeru does not have one, but two bases of operation. His first and foremost base of operations would be the Palace of Egyn, located within Egyn's kingdom. His second base of operations would be the human world. His desire to understand what made Assiash so appealing to his twin brother has made it so he spends a majority of his time in Assiah.
MY HISTORY:
On March 20th, a horrible storm raged through Japan threatening to flood certain areas with the amount of rain that fell from the sky. It was at this time, that a mother went into labor. Kiyoko Totsuka, to be exact. She had relations with a demon against the will of her family and while her family would not attack one of their own, and especially not when she was pregnant, they would however kill the half-demon children that could possibly grow up to destroy the world if given the chance. So, when Kyoko went into labor her family contacted the exorcists of True Cross, who remained stationed throughout the temple itself. Upon her delivery, two young boys, twins, came out and when they did, the heavy rain that had been falling through the city, seemed to stop falling atop the temple itself. Amazed yet terrified for the power the newborn twins may have possessed, the exorcists immediately sprung into action, and when they did, a flash of light occurred throughout the temple. When the light had faded, four water demons had arrived and had the children in their hands. While attempting to escape, the exorcists prepared to annihilate them all only to have Kyoko, in her weakened state, stand and defend them. With her interference, the demons managed to take the twins back to Gehenna in order to stay with their father.
Upon their arrival in Gehenna, their father Egyn was simply ecstatic. His sons had finally returned to their rightful home away from the filthy mortals that populated Assiah. Unlike the other Demon Kings, Egyn became a father that would always be looking out for his sons, not only because they were his children, but because he had promised their mother. Once they became seven years of age, their demonic training began. Countless battles ensued, and with each one, the twins grew stronger and stronger. So much so, that they were nicknamed Pisces, the Twin Fish. Training soon moved into real combat situations, and instead of fighting members of their father's army, they were sent to quell rebellions and onto the front lines when minor battles were to begin. These battles continued until one uprising within the Kingdom of Egyn. The twins were deployed to the front line in order to fight back against the uprising, but in their positioning, a mistimed block led to permanent injuries on his legs. Despite this, the uprising was soon quelled.
After the events of his twin's crippling, Takeru was at a loss for what to do. While he still performed his duties for his father Egyn, Tsukito remained bed-ridden unable to perform his actions as the Left Hand of Egyn. It was bad enough that as half-demons the members of the Kingdom of Egyn looked upon them both with disdain, but now that one of them could not perform their duties properly, the hatred only continued to grow. Whenever Egyn was not keeping an eye out for his sons, and when Takeru was off quelling minor fights within the Kingdom, a small group of aristocratic demons would often visit Tsukito's room within the Palace before criticizing and ridiculing him. Having walked in on them yelling at his twin one day, he immediately slayed each of them before embracing his twin brother. In the dead of night Takeru carried his twin to one of the secret passages beneath the Palace of Egyn that led straight through Gehenna Gate and into Assiah. Just before passing over into Assiah, he sat his twin on the ground before questioning whether or not the male still wished to go through with their plan. When they had agreed, Takeru took hold of his twin's hands before both males closed their eyes. Their bodies glowed with power and in a flash of bright lights, the demonic power that had been inside of Tsukito's body had permanently transferred into Takeru's body, thus making the male a full demon, and his twin, a regular human.
As the two passed through the gate, the boundaries splitting the world had an adverse affect on Tsukito. So much so, that when they emerged in Assiah, Tsukito was no longer cripple. Watching as his brother took his first steps yet again, the two were overjoyed, but there was no undoing the demonic power loss. After making it to their mother's home in Assiah, the twins hugged and said their goodbyes before splitting ways. From there, it was not long before his father had sent a few demons after him in order to bring him back. Upon his return, his father was more than displeased that his two sons had escaped to Assiah without telling him, and that Takeru had taken his brother's powers. But, after explaining the reasoning for why they did what they did, Egyn simply waved it off in order to allow Takeru to return his duties. Despite this, whenever he caught a break or saw any opportunity too, he returned to Assiah in order to watch his twin's growth as a human. This watch involved pulverizing any school bullies, and threats of murder to those who he even remotely thought would cause some sort of problem for Tsukito. Needles to say, happy times for his twin would not last long.
Both his human mother and now human little brother had moved into a town near the shore, and in their quaint house they lived free from the troubles that many faced. They were the envy of all who passed by. One night, while they were home sitting at their table, a group of mercenaries invaded the town and killed anything and anyone that was in their way. When it came to his family, a rumor had been started that they associated with demons, and so, they became the first target. His mother was raped and then killed before his twin's eyes before Tsukito was taken captive. A message came through Gehenaa with a picture of his little brother, and almost immediately, Egyn was prepared to go to war and destroy everything to get his youngest son back. But, that was not his job. It was the job of his Right Hand to destroy anything that would threaten or stand in the King's way. Unfortunately, when he had arrived on the beach near his family's home, his little brother lay on the ground with a stab wound. Once he had taken hold of his brother's body, the mercenaries sprung their trap, and soon had Takeru restrained. Even so, their restraints were not enough to keep him down, for as he stood, the water from the ocean itself had begun to stir. In his rage, the water shaped itself as a solid blast before freezing and piercing each of the mercenaries through their heart. That would not be enough to quell his rage, and in that moment, Takeru lost control. The sea itself lifted higher than it ever had before rushing forwards at the small town, destroying it. Even as the town was up and carried away by the waves, Takeru would not stop his rampage. The bodies of the mercenaries were sliced to pieces by razor sharp water blades and Tsukito's was locked with an air tight water bubble. It took the combined might of four of Egyn's top warriors to restrain Takeru in order to bring he and Tsukito back into Gehenna. Emergency healing was administered to Tsukito, but know amount of healing could save him. After an hour of constant healing, Tsukito slipped out of Takeru's grasp and died. From then on, Takeu continued serving as his father's right hand while occasionally returning to the Human World in order to figure out what Tsukito liked about a world that ultimately ended his life.
RELATIVES:
King Egyn (Father): King Egyn has been looking out for Takeru since the day of his birth three hundred and seventy-five years ago. As the eldest of the twin brothers his father favored Tsukito a little more than he did Takeru, but it was hardly noticeable. Despite his actions and constant decisions to go against the true wishes of his father, Egyn never seems to get truly made with Takeru. Due to this, their relationship has never once been met with arguments or fights. He trusts his father more than anyone in the world and as of late, only speaks to him and no one else.
Kiyoko Totsuka (Deceased Mother): Takeru honestly has no memory of his mother, and the only time he saw her was moments after she had been killed.
Tsukito Totsuka (Deceased Twin Brother): His younger twin brother was one of the few joys of Takeru's existence. Takeru's care for his little brother was unending, and even after his crippling it never changed. When the aristocratic of the Kingdom of Egyn came and began to berate Tsukito, it was Takeru who saved his little brother from their insults and constant berating by slaying them. When he could no longer take it, Takeru agreed to take him over to Assiah through one of the secret passage ways, and even agreed to take his demonic powers so that he could live his life as a normal human. When he found his brother in the hands of the mercenaries his unending care for his brother caused Takeru to momentarily lose control of his powers so that in his rage he flooded a town. Even on his death bed, Takeru remained by his siblings side and continued to laugh and make jokes so that the male would be as comfortable as possible.
MY GOALS: Takeru's number one reason for living is his younger twin brother. Despite his brother's passing, he is living on because he knew of how much his brother treasured life. Aside from his little brother, his father, King Egyn, is the second reason for his life. Takeru knows of everything that his father has done to ensure that he remained alive from the time of his birth even to the present date. His goal is to serve his father to the best of his ability, and without fail.The world being what it is, a lot of people out there deserve to die, don’t they?
