Quote: NAME OF CLASS: n/a PROFESSOR NAME ToT'er Name: Break
General Information: Break believes that both agility and endurance is the best asset for a to trick or treater to have, so with the interest of looking for potential among the students he invites you all to try his course.
The Course: Thunder Road A rocky, uneven road built to test the students and see how they handle themselves across rough terrain. Your student must run through the entire course, up hill, and keep running without stopping. If they slow their pace or come to a complete stop, they'll be struck by lightning and it will be the end of the line for them!
Course can be ran solo or in groups.
Win - You've survived five rounds of dice rolls and crossed the finish line! Lose - If your HP has reached zero, there is a narrow path on each side of the course. Hop off onto it and exit the room. If insta-killed, you dissipate and wake-up in Nurse Cricket's Office.
Mechanics: Roll a one 8-sided die to determine the results your student will get and make sure to adjust your HP accordingly Each time you survive a round, repeat the above until you complete the course.
1 Insta-kill! 2 Live 3 - 10 HP 4 - 20 HP 5 Live 6 Live 7 - 20 HP 8 - 10 HP
Bonus Mechanics: If you get a lousy roll, a Y2 or Y3 student may roll a one 6-sided die ( ONE TIME ONLY ) and attempt to evade the hit.
Y2 students must roll a 5 or 6 to evade the lightning. Y3 students must roll an even number to evade the lightning.YOU LOSE/FINISH THIS CLASS WHEN... - You hit 0 HP!That means you have to START OVER to try again! You may do so in the same thread or a new one if you decide to attempt again at a later date.

Attempt 1 - Round 1 - HP: 20/30
Quillan tried to follow the rocky path in front of him with his eyes, but with all the twists and turns and dips, and especially with the thunderclouds covering the sky, he couldn't see very far, let alone see the end. He started at a steady pace and didn't get too far before he felt like he was dragging huge boulders tied to his feet. The ink demon didn't exactly have a whole lot of stamina. A flash of lightning fell from the sky and struck him. He wasn't able to avoid it (nor did he see it, although he was expecting it).

Attempt 1 - Round 2 - HP: 10/30
The lightning strike served to slow him down severely as Quillan limped onward. As it was too dark to see where he was going, he tripped on a crack on the road’s path. Quillan fell and was struck by yet another bolt of lightning. He hadn’t gotten far at all and yet he was practically done for.

Attempt 1 - Round 3 - HP: 0/30 DEAD
The ink demon just laid down because there was no way he could make it. Another bolt struck him and he rolled off to the side onto the path and walked over to the Nurse’s Office before planning to attempt the class again. Maybe he would find the charred shape of his back on the course the next time he tried?

Attempt 2 - Round 1 - HP: 30/30
Quillan was back and ready to try again! This time, he started a bit slower … although he knew the point of the course was to demonstrate endurance as well as agility, both of which he lacked, he could maintain a constant speed throughout and hopefully not get struck for slowing down. However, there was the risk of getting struck for going too slow the entire way.

Attempt 2 - Round 2 - HP: 20/30
As he expected, Quillan a bolt was thrown at him for going too slow. Otherwise, he had been doing great so far! He picked up pace after being hit, although he knew that if he had to run faster, he wouldn’t last the rest of Thunder Road. He was only going to get struck again until he had to give up and restart. OOC I realized after that I rolled the wrong dice but Quillan is insta-killed the next post so I just went with it.

Attempt 2 - Round 3 - HP: INSTA-DEAD
The world around Quillan seemed to have completely lit up and Quillan had to wonder if he’d been sent to the afterlife before he blacked out. When he woke up, he was lying on a bed in the Nurse’s Office. He went to grab a snack and rethink his strategy because so far, he wasn't getting any farther than his first attempt.

Attempt 3 - Round 1 - HP: 30/30
Re-energized and ready with another plan, Quillan found himself once again at the entrance of the room for the Thunder Road class. He took a deep gulp of air (since more oxygen was supposed to help or something) and stretched (yes, this was his plan). He started jogging. He wasn’t sure if he had reached further along the path before the lightning started again, but this time, by some miracle (or as Quillan would tell himself, due to his preparation), he managed to avoid the first bolt.

Attempt 3 - Round 2 - HP: 20/30
It was usually at this point that Quillan began struggling and that was how he was doing now. ”I guess there’s nothing you can really do about the lack of agility and stamina without putting in many hours of effort” he thought while panting from the exercise. Although he’d developed a rhythm to keep him going, every step he took, he could feel his muscles crying.

As much as he pushed himself, Quillan couldn't get any farther than the spot he always failed the class at.

Attempt 4 - Round 1 - HP: 10/30
He could probably only manage another try or two before he was too disheartened to make any more attempts, like he had with another class. At this point, Quillan wouldn’t be surprised if the instructor knew his name by now. This time, he didn’t have any strategies, since all of his previous ones had failed, so he was just going to go at it and hope for the best. Unfortunately, he was struck down soon after starting. Welp, there went another attempt.

Attempt 4 - Round 2 - HP: 10/30
Quillan limped along. Somewhere along his stumbling and swaying, another bolt had been thrown at him but he’d managed to dodge it by sheer luck. Or maybe from being zapped so many times, he’d instinctively avoided it.

Another bolt dodged, Quillan could feel his hope returning to him. His pace quickened. He could do this! Maybe. And then he would never have to get zapped again. Hopefully.

And he managed to evade yet another bolt! Quillan guessed it must be true, that even miracles take a little time. He wouldn’t be able to last another hit, so he had to be very careful. At this point, he’d passed all his other attempts and was now in unknown territory.

Attempt 4 - Round 5 - HP: 10/30 - FINISHED
As the end of the road was coming into sight, another lightning bolt flew at him. He ran even faster, knowing he would be sore for the next few days. As soon as he’d reached the end, he collapsed on the ground.
