The School As daunting as it might sound, the Tales of Academia High School is as large as a college or university campus. The main building is centered at the heart of the campus and is the largest out of them. It has wings named after each of the Tales games and there's construction going on for the new Zestria Wing. Not far from the main building is the Middle School building. While it lacks in size to the High School, it still serves as a great school of learning for those too young to enter high school as of yet. There are also other places besides the main campus. There are four halls that house certain classes and act as residences for the students, teachers and faculty. These halls are Efreet Hall, Gnome Hall, Undine Hall and Sylph Hall. There are also on-campus stores and restaurants, a huge library, cafeteria, gymnasium, garden, swimming pool and areas that act as meeting places for clubs and club activities. For an idea of how the campus looks like, please click the following link Here!

Rules & Guidelines 1. The Guild Rules apply. Of course. Especially Rule #4. Like it says, playing out romance is fine, just keep it to hugging and kissing. Anything beyond that and not only are you gonna be kicked out of the RP, you'll also be kicked outta the guild.
2. This is a given, yet it cannot be stressed enough. No godmodding, it's terribly annoying to deal with. This includes auto-hitting, controlling another player's character without their consent, anything a Munchkin would do.
3. No flaming. This is in direct violation of Rule #1 in the Guild Rules. Please try to resolve your differences as peacefully as possible. If you just can't avoid drama, please take it to PMs.
4. Please be a committed role-player. Especially if you decide to take up a canon character. Don't just join and only post once or a few times and leave for a while, expecting the others to wait for you. I understand people have lives outside of Gaia (I'm pretty busy myself), but most of the role-players here can check in regularly, so it's not fair to them. If you joined thinking you could keep up, but later find that you actually can't, then please find a way to write your character(s) into exiting the plot.
5. Read the previous posts so that you know what's going on and not confuse the other role-players with your new posts. Find something in the others' responses to build your replies on, so that it shows you're paying attention.
6. If there is any confusion to how people are going to go through their posts or have something to share with other people on how their characters are going to post, please put in an OOC: into your post. If this RP gets bigger, I might be able to make an OOC thread for the RP.
7. Please make sure that you're coherent in your posts. If you notice a typo or any other improper grammar, please feel free to fix it. Also, NO TXT TALK.
8. Decorative post formats are not a must. However, I will allow decorative posts for anything to do with the clubs or guilds in the RP such as notices or upcoming events.
9. #8 aside, this is optional but it would be nice if this simple formatting is included in your replies:
Character Name ══════════════════════════ Location: (place character is currently in also which campus they're in) | Company: (other characters being interacted with) Your posts should also include if your character is a student/teacher/faculty and if they're in any of the clubs or guilds.
10. HAVE FUN!

Character Categories
There are five different types of categories in which the characters you are role-playing fall into:
High School Student: Characters who fall into the age range where they can attend high-school. This will be the most populous character group, since students will outnumber the teachers and other faculty. High-school students will be divided by which wing/house they come from, however, all students share classes with students from other houses.
Middle/Primary School Students: Characters who fall into the age range where they attend Primary School or Middle School. Since there aren't that many middle school students to make houses or wings for them, they belong to a collective group. However, they act as mascots or supporters for the high school houses that they aspire to join upon graduating. These students can attend certain classes and clubs in the main building, but are mostly kept to the Middle School grounds.
Teachers: Characters who are too old to be students (lol). They're responsible for teaching classes, grading students, disciplining rowdy students, manage and allow students to make clubs and prepare classes. There are some teachers who are responsible for the houses/wings they represent and also conduct disciplinary actions for the students they look after.
Faculty: Characters who are not teachers, but are part of maintaining the school, nonetheless. These include, but not limited to: school nurse, school gardener, shop and cafe owners, secretaries, school librarian, headmaster, superintendents, school donors, etc.
Cameo Characters: Characters that seem to pop up anywhere within Academia and disappear just as fast. Cameo characters can be anywhere within the range of perceived categories. There is no limit with how many cameo characters you can play, but there's a limit to your main characters.
There are also some sub-categories . . .
Head of the House: This is a teacher or faculty member who is in charge of a certain wing or house within the school. They're responsible for the students and other teachers within their house and manage them accordingly. They often report to the vice-principle or headmaster for monthly inspections.
Club Co-ordinator: A teacher or faculty member who is involved with one of the many clubs. They're responsible for the club's well-being and discipline the club members if things get out of control. They also have the power to allow the creating of clubs and to disband clubs temporarily or permanently.
Club President: A student who is in charge of their representative club or clubs. They report to the club co-ordinator, maintain club members, lead club meetings and gatherings and make important announcements for the club.
Club Vice-President: A student who works with the Club President of their representative club. If the club president is not present during a club gathering, the vice-president automatically takes charge until the club president returns.
Teacher's Assistant: Some students and faculty can act as assistants to the teachers of Academia. They report to their respective teacher and help maintain classes and discipline students.
Guild President: A guild is a club that's not sanctioned by the school's teachers or faculty. A guild president follows the same regiment as a club president and co-ordinator, but are limited in resources. Guilds are often the target of teachers and the disciplinary committee- however, if the guild is benign in their practices, then they're allowed to do as they wish.
Guild Vice-President: They follow the same regiment as a club vice-president, but with limited resources. They're often the target of teachers and the disciplinary committee if they're not benign.

Application Rules & Guidelines 1. Either PM me or leave a profile comment for me if you want to join the role-play. 2. You can only role-play as characters from the Tales Series, but it's not limited to playable characters. You can also role-play as side characters and antagonists! 3. Along with which character or characters you want to role-play, please add if they're either a student/teacher/faculty. If you don't have an idea of which character category they should be put into, please look up the Tales of Academia comics Here! 4. If you feel that you're not getting anywhere with your character in the role-play, please PM me if you want to remove that character from the roster. 5. You cannot play as a character that's taken by another role-player. If the user lets that character go, you are free to play as them, but PM me first. 6. If you are going to make a club or a guild in the RP, you do it in-character. There's no need to PM me (unless you want to). If you want to join one, you'll have to get in contact with the club co-ordinator, club/guild president or club/guild vice-president. If you want to make your own club, you must get permission from a teacher first. If you want to make a guild, you have to get enough people to join your guild, preferably two or more members. 7. For now, you are allowed to manage four characters and an unlimited supply of cameo characters. To role-play as more is prohibited. 8. You must keep in-character for the role-play. No Mary-Sue-ing or Gary-Stu-ing! 9. You must use an icon of your playable character in their school uniform in your posts. However, if the certain character you are playing doesn't have an official school uniform style, you can either make up your own or just use an icon in their default outfit.

Clubs and Club Members & Guilds and Guild Members Attending clubs and guilds are great ways to spend your free time, meet up with friends and discuss similar interests. Characters can be in as many clubs or guilds as they desire, as long as they participate in them. While Clubs are sanctioned by the faculty, Guilds are more underground clubs that aren't sanctioned by the school. Depending on the conduct of clubs and guilds, they can be permanently disbanded by the school if they're caught doing illegal practices, bullying, destroying the school grounds, causing harm to others or anything prohibited by the school. Presidents and vice-presidents of clubs are chosen by either the club co-ordinator or a vote by other members of the club. As for guild leaders, they chosen through a vote by other guild members. If a member of a club or guild finds the leadership of the president or the vice-president to be weak or not in the best interests of the club/guild, they're allowed a fighting match to determine the club/guild president or vice-president. Club co-ordinators are present during these matches and also decide the victor of the match. Even if the challenger defeats the president/vice-president, the co-ordinator has final say on who will take over the job. As for guild president/vice-president matches, since they're void of a co-ordinator, whoever wins the match becomes president/vice-president. There are only two permanent clubs within the school, the Student Council and the Disciplinary Committee.

School Fights
Do students get into fights? Do dogs pee on fire hydrants? And what could be more epic than Tales students fighting all out with their weapons, artes and mystic artes on campus?! With how dangerous the Worlds of Tales can be, students are allowed to bring their weapon of choice to the school. Disagreements between characters usually result in a fight, in which they can go all out on each other. However, there are certain limitations: high school students are prohibited to fight students from the Tales Middle School, kill off any characters, cause any collateral damage to the school grounds or engage in fights with teachers or faculty. However, teachers and faculty can fight against other teachers and faculty. Middle school students can only fight against other middle school students. If things get out of hand, the school has a permanent club called the Disciplinary Committee who act in a similar manner as hall monitors, safety patrol or prefects. They are allowed to break up fights and report troublemakers to the vice-principle or headmaster. Depending on their effectiveness, they can also fight against the instigators if peaceful measures do not suffice. The Disciplinary Committee do not hold authority in giving suspensions to students, but are allowed to discipline or give out detentions when teachers are no longer present. They're responsible for maintaining a safe learning environment for their fellow peers and have a strict no bullying policy.

School Announcements & Bulletin Board With any school, the teachers within the head office make morning announcements. These also include important events, exam dates, dances and promenade, school festivals, club meetings, special dates & times, etc. In front of the school's main office is a large bulletin board where students, teachers and faculty can post club flyers, volunteer work, special events and anything that might pique the interest of students. Characters caught stealing or messing with the bulletin board are sent to detention by the Disciplinary Committee. The school has it's own weekly newspaper run by members of the School Press Club. Weekly newspapers are printed and displayed in small kiosks at the bulletin board.
