A palace built in the center of the Village Hidden in the Mist, the Mizukage Palace is a testament to the grandeur of Kirigakure. The palace floats atop of a lake. A tiny bridge connects the entrance to the main village. Here resides the new office of the Mizukage.
The main door of the palace opens into the general lobby for the palace, where a receptionist/secretary controls the traffic. On the highest floor, up several stairs and through several halls from the lobby, is the Mizukage's office. Beyond these two main rooms, several offices and meeting areas are scattered about. Activity in the palace is coordinated through an intercom system.
Meeting the Mizukage first requires approaching the receptionist, who will then inform the Mizukage of the visitor. Only after the receptionist receives permission to send the guest up, will the visitor be allowed to walk up to the Mizukage's office. The hallways are constantly monitored.
Update:7/11/14 After the attack committed by two Kusagakure ninja, the Mizukage's office is in the same state as the majority of the village, ruined. There are no doors, the windows are shattered, and the majority of the staff are absent.

Sin Uchiha walked into the Mizukage's palace and walked up to the Receptionist. "Please tell Lord Mizukage I am here waiting to see him."
"Yo~ Uchiha~" Katsu greeted in a tone of amusement, hipping and hopping toward Sin. He came hoping to find something entertaining to do in his spare time, not wanting his blade to start getting dull.

Sin turned to see Katsu coming in. "Oh Katsu, whats going on?" He thought about leaving to have a little spar with Katsu and simply leaving a message for the Mizukage.
Hm~ Well, you know, after a hard day of resurrecting an ancient and nearly forgotten way of the sword, I came here to see if I could stretch my wings a bit. And by wings, I mean swords. And by stretch, I mean unsheathe. Care to join me? Katsu answered, using a very roundabout way of asking for a lethally friendly clash. He'd only just become Sannin, and he was just finished his little archeological expedition, so perhaps Sin could relieve him of some stress by way of combat, eh?

The lightning chakra bounced of his fingers in excitement. Sin turned to the receptionist. "Please let Lord Mizukage know i came by, and if he wants he can join me and Katsu at the training grounds for a spar." He turned back to katsu. "Alright lets go have a little fun shall we." He said then proceeding to head to the training grounds.

Kaien arrived at what was formally known as the Mizukage office now Mizukage palace . He wasn't to enthuse about the name change but anything fitting for his master was fine by him . He continued forward through the busy palace near the receptionist desk placing his left forearm on the table to interrupt the lady filing paper work " I request a audience with the Mizukage , is he in right now ? " He would ask looking towards the back of the room to see his door closed " Not at the moment Kaien , What ? do you plan to beg him for high mission already , you just recently became a Chuunin give it some time enjoy every moment of being a child " The lady would say for she knew how eager the snowflake haired boy was and determined to show he was one of the strongest Shinobi in the village , his attics were daily even before becoming a chuunin as he would constantly bug his dear Mizukage for mission opportunities those that were most challenging and dangerous . " I see , Fine I'll just wait here until he gets back " He said in a low tone leaning off the desk to now fold both his arms across his chest .

Sin walked into the office without making a sound, behind Kaien, he placed his hand on the boys shoulder. "Kaien, good to see you. Maybe we can go on a mission together soon and stretch that chuunin rank to make you stronger." He said to him, being optimistic, he saw great things in him. With that he turned his attention to the receptionist. "The mizukage requested all of us to meet him in his office, is he in yet?"
Through sheer energy and restlessness, Armand had made it into the office first before the Mizukage. He didn't want to kick the office door in and get there first, so he'd visit the reception desk first. "Helloooo~" He'd greet the receptionist. He was also used to Armand's antics of...whatever this was. Armand would flop himself down and sprawl the desk, preventing any paperwork for being done. His head wasn't in its usual spot, as it was now butted up against Kaien. "You're in my headrest spot. What brings you here?"
The receptionist simply leaned back in his chair and accepted the reality of what was happening. And to think that Armand was a jounin. ╚═══════XX♦XX═══════╝

The palace was simply extraordinary. The fragrance of exotic flowers filled the room. The walls filled pictures of generations of Mizukage and the artwork of famous painters. Sanjay walked in behind Armand taking in the scenery with awe. "Its really something." he thought out loud. He continued into the office and leaned against the wall. He simply minded his own business and waited for the Kage to arrive.
Turpis literally wandered into the reception area with a flower in hand. The baby blue petals resembled the misty landscape when viewed from afar, and held an oceanic scent. His carefree demeanor combined with the slight hum that rumbled from his throat implied that he had indeed forgotten his planned meeting with the ninja. Of course he was not aware that he had forgotten until his eyes rose from the flower to the contents of the room.
Immediately, he remembered the motivation for such a meeting. This realization was followed by the arrival of yet another new face for the day. This one was a chuunin, last he checked. The boy was also had some otherworld eyes, what with the expanding lines around the iris. Turpis made a mental note to look into that. He had heard of several dojutsu in his studies, but did not recall hearing of one that made the eyes to appear like so. It was fascinating.
"Kaien...I see you are back for yet another mission. " He gave his chin a light tap in thought. "You come too." He abruptly spun upon his heels and made his way past the reception desk. Through the corridor and up the spiral staircase he made his way. From the staircase he approached a set of deep brown double doors. Each door held the symbol for Kirigakure. He pushed the doors open and made his way behind the large desk in the center. He sat down and awaited his guests.

Beneath the fabrics that shrouded his visage, Turpis smiled. Of course for those that he was smiling before, it was merely a rising of the cheeks and a brightening within his eldritch eyes.
"Those blades are legendary, but as our comrade so intelligently stated their wielders were oft to defect from the village." He raised a hand, bringing attention to the bandages that covered the entirety of his flesh, and began to stroke at his chin in thought. "On the other hand, finding all seven of the swords would bring our village much attention. The other villages would be intimidated if we reinstated the Mist 7." His mind immediately turned to the blades, remembering stories in his history books of past usage the blades experienced.
"I will think on that matter. For now though, let us keep our eyes on the present. " His eyes shifted as he looked upon the genin in the background, giving silent praise to the children for training. "We have matters that require our immediate attention. Meet me in the Mizukage's office when you finish here. We will discuss those matters then."
With a tip of his hat Turpis departed from the training grounds. [exit]

Sin fell in behind Turpis and followed him to his office. Sin was highly respected amongst the shinobi of the village, he was kown for his no nonsense attitude, and always following the orders to the T. He loved the village and respected the Mizukage above all others. Even the sanin above him showed him respect as if he wasn't a jounin but one of them. He stopped inside the room and took the middle position directly in front of the desk and the Mizukage. He patiently waited for the others so that they could get down to business. He wondered what this was about, the Mizukage even asked Kaien to come in, though he puzzled, he knew answers would come shortly.

Kaien kept his same posture arms folded while remaining calm during the waiting period . Before he could speak once more with receptionist about any word on anything that happened during his absence he would feel a hand on the verge of his shoulder following up with a formal tone to the snowflake haired boy . Kaien knew this voice very well so much in so that he didn't move at all and let him continue to grip him , looking over his shoulder to see one of the mist great ninja's Sin Uchiha also known as ' The Mist's Sage of Lightning ' " Ah Sensei , Why have you gathered the rest of the Mist shinobi .. did i miss something ? " He would mutter staring at everyone that arrived ignoring his comment about missioning together for he was now more concerned about the gathering . He looked back to his Sensei waiting for a answer which was soon interrupted by Armand who had noted to the young hatake that he was in his spot " My apologies " He said moving out the way of the boy to now be at the side of Sin " And I've recently just finished a mission , so I came to make my report " He said with no intentions to offend another one of the shinobi's in high rankings bowing to him for forgiveness ,then feeling the presence of his Lord Mizukage in the air " Turpis . " He mumbled to his self preparing for his usual questions for he would try a different approach to get higher missions . Before he could even speak he would notice the Mizukage take notice of him immediately with even inviting him to the higher shinobi's meeting which caught him off guard for he was actually very fond of sneaking in the office and spying . " Really ?! I can come this time ? " He would say now following behind Turpis as he was filled with excitement and the privilege to finally be allowed on confidential detail .

"Sorry I'm a bit late, had to... relieve some stress," Katsu said, arriving and taking a place near the front, breaking through the crowd who got here earlier. On his way to the office, Katsu was so extremely stressed about those taunts and that eyepatch punk, he wanted to cut something, anything. Then came along a good number of children, all moody and annoyingly loud. He just wanted to shut them up, then without thinking... he went on and did all their chores, cutting the lawn, fixing the fence, cutting the fence, fixing the fence again with swords, making it much cooler. He got so sidetracked, he forgot about the Mizukage and came running, and here he was.
