So someone (I'm sorry for forgetting who it was, and I can't seem to find the thread where the post was. If you know who you are, please speak up so I can properly credit you for the idea!) when introducing themselves had suggested the ability to make it so that people can equip the components (Rosewater, Celestial Glow, etc.). I think that should be something to go with, but why not take it a step further by having it be that you need to use formulas and craft them? I'm making this thread so people can give their suggestions and we can perhaps come up with formula ideas that could be presented. Might help with the inflation problem by providing more incentive to get gold out of the system.
Basic Guidelines for Giving ideas: (note that these come in the order I think them up in)
1. Let's try to keep the components for this as just items that either are in caches or are crafted from formulas that can be simplified to just caches and needed formulas (so an item like Celestial Glow is alright, but the Wings from the Wing Quests are a no go)
2. You can use more than just the component in question for a formula for that component as equip-able (meaning that for a formula for Rosewater for example, you can use more than just Rosewater) but try to avoid using items from higher level formulas. 2.a. For example, if you're giving a formula for Ambrosia as equip-able, don't have something Spice as an ingredient (Unless you adjust the level of the formula accordingly. See Guideline 3) 2.b. For an item like Rosewater, I don't know what I'm thinking for this, but for now, base the limit of what you could use on the level you plan to have the recipe at (see Guideline 3).
3. When deciding what level to go with for the formula, at the very least, base it on the highest level crafted component you plan to use. If none of the ingredients have to be crafted, then you have more leeway. This is to prevent the phenomenon of requiring something of one level of Alchemy to complete a formula of a lower level.
4. When deciding how much it will cost, my recommendation is keep it cheaper for lower levels, more expensive for higher levels, but try to keep it reasonable.
5. For chance of success, it's all your decision. You can make multiple suggestions for formulas.
Keep in mind that these are just Guidelines. You don't have to follow them since they aren't absolute rules. I just wanted to give those who might have trouble knowing where to start some idea as to what they can keep to.

Suggestions for formulas will go here:
Template: This template is how the formulas will be shown in this post. You can choose how you want to present your ideas
(alignment will likely be alignment left in the actual list though) : . () Level: Cost: Ingredients: (1, 2, etc.). x Pose notes: Misc. notes:
(one space of line between each different formula idea. Therefore next formula starts here)
Enchanted Water:
1. (Work in Progress) mist777 (0) Level: 5 Cost: 20,000 Ingredients: 1. Enchanted Water x25 2. Imported Lake Water x10 3. Wizard Leaf x2 4. Screaming Mushroom x2 5. Sea Water x20 6. Rainbow Strain x2 7. Mineral Water x20 8. Rosewater x2 Pose notes: Along with the typical poses for holding the item, perhaps there could be a pose for having the bottle attached to the waist. This one I'm willing to ask others for advice on what sorts of poses there could be. Misc. notes: Chose to go with level 5 despite Enchanted Water being a level 4 formula because I realized that with the number of Enchanted Waters I set for this formula, any level 4 crafting them all would level up to level 5 by that point. I also took the ingredients in the original formula and multiplied them by two for the ingredient list and added the Enchanted Waters to it. I wanted to make the Enchanted Water the focal point of the formula, which is why I chose to require more of that than all of the other ingredients. This formula, and all other formulas of this nature that I make will be identical for human and animal versions except the animal version will have [Animal] in the formula name and resulting item.
Rosewater:
1. (Work in Progress) mist777 (0) Level: 1 Cost: 1,000 Ingredients: 1. Rosewater x2 2. Empty Bottle x1 3. Mineral Water x1 4. Imported Lake Water x1 5. Bag of Petals x1 Pose notes: Along with the typical poses for holding the item, perhaps there could be a pose for having the bottle attached to the waist. This one I'm willing to ask others for advice on what sorts of poses there could be. Misc. notes: Wanted to make this simple and cheap, hence avoiding the need for crafting components or requiring rare caches like Gold or Platinum and the low level. Was originally going to make it 10 Rosewater and 5 of the other ingredients, but realized that it might take a toll on some users and I wanted this to be a nice item that could easily be made by alchemists that are just entering the trade. Just like my Enchanted Water formula idea, this formula, and all other formulas of this nature that I make will be identical for human and animal versions except the animal version will have [Animal] in the formula name and resulting item.
Screaming Mushroom:
1. Akiko-infinity (0) Level: 1 Cost: 50,000g Ingredients: Screaming Mushroom x10 Growth Formula x5 Mountain Air x5 Unicorn Poop x2 Imported Lake Water x10 Pose notes: It should have poses like most of the animals or plushies on the site, for example, the Angel/Devil Imp Plushies, including an "I AM" pose. Also, the face should be a pose. Misc. notes: Figured to base this at level one because it doesn't require a whole lot; really if you're patient you can fish most of the caches needed out of the dumpster.
This is a great idea! Plus it'll add formulas to the alchemy system, which is in desperate need of good formulas. I'll come up with some too!
Edit: Here's a start, the guild's own alchemy mascot as an equippable item!

Thanks. I wish I knew who mentioned it in the introduction thread though. That user IS the one who originally came up with the idea. I'm simply acting on it to try and get more solid ideas going.

I wish I knew too. Hopefully the person who thought it up will see this thread and come forward once the idea gets more attention. Also, came up with one; check my original post. ^_^ We totally need an equippable screaming mushroom companion. XD

I think celestial glow might make for an interesting item, or at least a pretty looking one.

Guess the question now is what sort of formula should be used with it? My guess would be level 6 or 7 depending on how much Celestial Glow is to be used with it.

right it would be a bit of a high level formula since the material its self is high level

One thought I had was the idea that maybe there could be level variants for some of these where the higher level you can make, the more pose options are available, but the lower level versions would be required ingredients for the higher level ones (at least one of the previous level). I don't know how to balance it out so that the components that naturally are at a higher level will not seem like it's less worth it compared to those that naturally are at a lower level, unless the ones that are at a higher level have more poses right off the bat.
