Hello good people.
Now, I know I'm new to the guild, veeeerrryy new. I may not have the right to really say anything, but, it seems the RP is very fragmented, and it's hard to jump in because there are a lot of little subplots going on. I am guessing that maybe that's how it's supposed to be, which could be true, but maybe figuring a way to bring a lot of those subplots together, something that would impact the academy as a whole, wouldn't be a bad idea. A lot of people would be involved, people would get excited, I believe posting activity would increase.
Of course, this is pure speculation. Though it would be fun.
Now, I'm not sure what this thing could be. A meeting of different races to discuss power balances and the headmaster is witness or something, political wrong doings with the other kingdoms or nobles, stuff like that. Maybe someone is trying to shut the school down for some reason. Or maybe even like a big festival, unless that already happened, idunno.
Anyway, that's all I got, sorry if I'm speaking out of turn, but these are my observations so far. I'm having fun, don't get me wrong, I just saw this and...yeah...did thing.

Some of the things that you've said are some of the things I've
been trying to work on, but alas IRL gets in the way and then
everything gets lost or postponed.

It might be nice to have a monthly contest for active members. It would inspire people to be more active and reward those that already are. My friend Moeru Ryubi is constantly running contest and awesome games in our other guild... She might be willing to donate goodies for a contest.

You're very welcome. I just think pulling people from all over wouldn't be a bad idea. Implementing it would be the problem, and maybe some people don't want to take part. Who knows.

I am a Minnion It might be nice to have a monthly contest for active members. It would inspire people to be more active and reward those that already are. My friend Moeru Ryubi is constantly running contest and awesome games in our other guild... She might be willing to donate goodies for a contest.
Granted as stated it would be for prizes...
Though implementing such an event would
require must more effort on the crews behalf...
I shall attempt to this at a later date....

It might be good to have a sticky in the dorm area with an actual list of dorm rooms taken and whose in them. It will make it easier to find an empty dorm or find your friends if you want some more one-on-one rp-ing.

so far the only storyline i have official is the Katsu Sekken vs Duel Rose Academy, but making it a little bigger and adding some more might help to bring more people into it
