Looking at the van and then at the fact it was utterly empty, Marcus sighed. He’d wrapped up the job- deploy some gear, make sure t was secure, and..that was it. That was the whole ‘mission’. It was up to the life techs to get it all set up and ready for whatever it was they were doing. Now he had to just drive the van back to the island and lock it up. For now anyway. Getting into the car and turning it on, yet another commercial for cheap ribs for BBQs blared out.

Along with another commercial for specialty fireworks.
Pausing his thoughts to listen he had never recalled a ban on them on the island. Heck, he was moon, he could read and obey safety instructions. Debating it, he realized he’d never really gotten into fireworks before. He would need someone who probably knew what ones were better, and what just went into a real fireworks show.
He called the most knowledgeable person he knew, (sort of), (who he guessed would know more than he did given her name and background).



It would be kind of neat to surprise everyone with a show over on the beach- providing no monsters showed.
