Talent: As long as he has energy nekrikos has a technique that absorbs either the inertia of a physical attack OR the energy of a magical attack from an opponent nullifying the damage for that one attack-- attacks that use both energies are not affected. For example, an enchanted weapon cannot be affected and still does normal damage. However while energy is absorbed he can't use this talent again until five posts after energy is released from gauntlet in a skill. The rank of the attack that can be absorbed depends on Nekrikos' current rank. Rank to Level of Attack Absorbed: Novice - D-rank energy for C and Below Adept - C-rank energy for B and Below Expert - B-rank energy for A and Below Master - A-rank energy for S and Below Sage - S-rank energy for SS and Below After absorbing the energy he can use the stored up energy in his gauntlet in various custom "Nyx" skills at the cost of the Nyx skill becoming the rank of skill absorbed. If he ever absorbs an attack higher than his rank allows he can do it once at the cost of his life as the power overtakes the gauntlet. Absorption takes place upon contact with his gauntlets.
Personality: Nekrikos is a fairly laid back individual. He holds life in high regard and always tries to save it when he can. He detests bloodthirsty people and fighting in general, he’s a pacifist by nature but if push comes to shove he’s a skilled warrior and has skills meant for destroying his opponents as fast as possible. There is one part of his personality even he doesn’t like. When angered to a certain point, his pacifist nature disappears and an age old terror rises from the depths of his soul to reap his enemies and send their souls to the depths of hell. xxxxx Nekrikos Caelum’s story is a long one. Nekrikos was born long before the flood that consumed Axiom happened. He was raised in a small community filled with his kind. He was taught the ideals of his people and embraced them wholly, becoming a pacifist in the process. For centuries he wandered the world helping others where he could and slaying those who upset the balance more than was acceptable. Then in his roughly 1200th year of life it happened. The flood. He was in what is now Nocturne when it happened. Being what he was, and how much he valued life, the loss of life struck him hard. He mourned for years afterwards as he continued wandering amongst the now much smaller landmasses of Axiom. He watched as life found a way and rebuilt, a silent specter beholding the miracles of nature and science. He remained anonymous throughout history after that, only showing up as a cloaked man that had saved some random person or village. Now he finds himself in the country of Yuran where he feels he will meet destiny in an epic clash of wills.
