He's got a lot of grace and dignity to him, but he does have his bad habits. While he can sing well and could catch anything, he's a picky singer and a picky eater. Hey, every Olympic athlete has his flaws, right? His just happen to be his eating habits and his singing habits. Drives everyone else up the wall, but at least he'll graciously apologize, and he will make some attempt to be polite and socialize...even if he seems standoffish most of the time.

Personality: Awendelah is a friendly and kind soul, but aside from her friendliness, her defining characteristic is being surprising. Rather like the moon, she doesn't tell those around her absolutely everything, since she's rather fond of surprises. This can be problematic for those around her, but she's fine with that. Her friendly nature tends to nix how unpleasant her surprises can be.

Tiva doesn't like to let dark days get her down, and works hard to earn others' good opinions. She's one black Light who has no intent on letting her dark coat get her down.

Kasa, however, has more of an earthy sense of humor and enjoyment of hot springs when she can find them, whereas Awendelah is a bit quieter and fonder of cooler bodies of water.

Personality: Pachu'a, like his sister Keezh, is fairly fiery in personality. He wants to be a strong, respectable leader someday, and is frustrated by the idea that black Light B'alam are considered so unlucky, even though light Lights are preferred, but other colors are not strongly discriminated against. He's not sure he wants Keezh's overprotective kindness, as he's concerned that it may stunt his growth into being the leader he wants to be. That said, he does want a shot at leadership that he'd get alongside Keezh, and if Keezh pads it out too much, he figures he can always look for a bit of trouble and try to sort things through peacefully without getting hot and bothered about it.

Personality: Hototo was born an old, blind grumpy-butt. But he loves his stories, telling them, and isn't that crazy about cubs. Being blind does put rather of a damper on his being able to hunt and live alone, as he prefers, and to that end, he's drifting around, looking for another accommodating storyteller to live with. Ending up with someone who has an eye to cubs is not in his purview of life, and if he has any, it will be out of duty, and with a tacit understanding that he will voluntarily remove himself from the lives of his unfortunate mate and cubs.
