Combat tutorial

I have no freaking idea how to write a combat tutorial. Nor do I have a good way to explain how combat works on Gaia. Does anyone in the crew or member for that matter, has a good idea of what to post here, and I would be happy and thankful and grateful for your suggestions

Basics

Fighting in a RP can be used in many different ways, some guilds use dice roll and high up stats, while other guilds do not explain fighting allowing for the person and opponent to duel each other and fight until someone has to step in and say that this is to much or the winner is----.

Example Chad flipped foot aiming for Tai's chin, if the hit connected It would send Tai into the air. Chad would proceed to jump, knee going to slam into Tai's back as he lifted his fist and would go to slam his closed fist into Tai's chest at the same time.

Response: Tai felt the kick to the chin as he flung up into the air, Shaking it off he twisted his hips dodging Chad's knee and fist and landed on his feet in which he proceeded to charge swinging his swords to slide Chad. If hit could cause serious damage, if he knicked him it could cause some minor bruises/wound's. ETC...


A lot of times during these fights Over Powering tends to be the cause, that's where the mods come in. By observing and watching these battles we can help determine what becomes over powered. Some cases the two fighters may have to contact each other and discuss a winner.
