Lanthiron stood under the tree and watched the ninja mare. She was beautiful and spunky and he did not understand her one little bit. But he supposed that was normal, females were rather cryptic after all and there were even males who were hard to understand at times. He was rambling...he never rambled. He snorted and glanced at the partly cloudy sky, a sky where it could go stormy or not with the flick of an eyelash. His companions bonded had disapeared after he had saved her from the mess of hyenas. He was more comfortable this way, which was to say not very much better with a mare he could not piece together in his head. He was a warrior...not a thinker.

Tekashi strolled along, her dark knight with his mud/blood coat beside her. He was so handsome and dangerous it made her want to shiver in delight. Her most precious being. It helped that he was night indistructable too. She trilled happily, "What a fine day out my love, so happy to get away from all the stuffy azrein, I like it more out here, alone, with you."

"How do you know she didn't just go off to the library or something, can't you talk to her over distances?"

He shook his head, all this over a simple human, what were they to him? Something to be saved so his friend would not mourn was about it.

A mingled scent came to him on the wind. "Do you...do you uh smell that?" He tilted his large head into the wind and sniffed. He was a littler taller then average and well muscled from years upon years of fighting. His hide was scarred with a multitude of war wounds. And through all this he had survived showing he was no pushover in a fight, and that was what he smelt on the wind. A potential fight heading their way.

Atlas didn't see the Azrein hurtling towards them, but he heard her. He casually slid over to Tekashi's other side, just in time to be slammed into by the purple bullet. He snorted and glared at the mare who had nearly trucked his precious Tekashi. His gaze flicked to his princess, wordlessly waiting for her instructions in the matter. If she wanted him to crush the mare at his feet, he would. If not, he would ignore her and travel on with Tekashi without a second thought.

Atlas listened to Tekashi, ears perking to attention at the sound of her saying his name. Although that was all she had said, he knew his princess well enough to know the command embedded in that tone of hers. Destroy. He gave a slight nod and turned to face the fallen mare. He reared up, planning to slam his front hooves into the Azrein and crush her like he used to crush rocks in training. He didn't personally care if the mare had crashed into him (it wasn't like she could actually hurt him like that), but that didn't matter. He would obey his princess's wishes.

Lanthiron looked around. Where had she gone to now? Honestly the attention span and speed of a sparrow. He looked up at the three. Oh...no. Sweat broke out on his face and he started moving, running, flying urging himself to greater speed to slide between Atlas the notorious merciless fighter and the crazy ninja pony.

Hooves cracked over his hide and his gasped snarled and shoved the brown male back. Panting, lungs heaving with every breath he planted his sturdy black legs between the male and Amber.

"You know who I am." His eyes burned into Atlas's.

Atlas saw the interference coming, but couldn't stop his strike from hitting, not while he was already crashing downward with all of his weight. He was mildly surprised to find himself pushed back, quickly finding his footing as he sized up the black and red stallion in front of him. He definitely had experience, judging by the scars rattling his body. And when Tekashi mentioned the name Lanthiron, some recognition came into his eyes. He'd heard of Lanthiron; never met him personally (or at least, he didn't remember doing so) but the stallion had a reputation. He continued to study the other male until Tekashi called him. In a flash, he was by his princess's, purple eyes gentle with his adoration for her. His gaze went back to its uncaring state as he looked over at Lanthiron and the mare he'd saved from his--well, Tekashi's--wrath. He listened to the exchange, but didn't really care about it. He would remain where he was, with Tekashi peeking out from under his jaw, until she ordered otherwise.

Lan's eyes tried to pop out of his head as the tiny flower stepped IN FRONT OF HIM so that there was nothing but blessed AIR between her and the big ochre bruiser and watched dumbfounded, panic building as she spat insults at the white mare's face. That white mare being Tekashi the only one who could get Atlas to listen to her. So if she was mad too, then Lan was the only thing that could have a hope in stopping them and he was behind Amber..inexplicably.

He growled in her ear. "Get behind me, or you will be just as pincushiony as I am....crazist."

He tried to hold Atlas's eyes but he knew deep in his bones, that Atlas wasn't the problem her...well he was but well okay Atlas could act on his own if Tekashi was insulted so he had to factor that in. Why were these two the ones she HAD to run into. He was going to get a gray coat!
