Background information

Seto Kaiba has finally beaten Yugi and has won Yugi's precious Egyptian God Cards. Instead of feeling overjoyed about this long-awaited victory, Seto felt more disgusted than anything else. He couldn't decide whether or not it had something to do with one of Yugi's "pathetic" speeches about friendships or heart of the cards "nonsense".

Yugi Mutou and his possessed spirit Yami as one felt like they were a balloon recently popped. It wasn't because of Seto's recent victory, far from it. In fact, the pair couldn't be more proud of Seto's accomplishment. There was a disturbing aura in the air, and the two felt like the Gods had betrayed them due to this recent event.

Rex "Raptor" Goodwin had watched Seto's recent battle and felt like he could take advantage of this situation. He felt like he could finally take over the world because he felt that Seto was in-capable of controlling such powerful cards. So, with the help of Pegasus and his good friend Weevil the insect Underwood, the three of them began their plot.

The general idea of this RP

1. Will Seto pull himself together by the time this new threat surfaces?
2. Is Yugi right in thinking that the Gods put their trust in the wrong man?
3. How will Rex, Weevil, and Pegasus put their plan into action?

Things that must happen at some point in the RP

1. Seto must fall in love with Empress Dee for her determination in helping him get over his depression and end up marrying her.

2. Yugi meets up with Yusei and Jaden without the usage of time travel and together the three main heroes of the Yu-gi-Oh series try to put a stop to Rex's plan, but because of their failure, Satellite is formed.

3. The plots of the actual show for GX and 5ds revealed as their true openings. This means that when Yugi meets Yusei, Yusei is not in Satellite and when Yugi meets with Jaden, Jaden is not in the island school yet.

How to be a character

As is tradition with my role-plays, you must call dibs on a character and then make your first post. I will edit my "Who is taken" section in this post so there is no confusion.

Faqs answered

1. Are original characters (OCs) allowed?

Only if your last name is of one of the duel monsters in the game and you must specify what monster you are going to be in your dibs calling.

2. Is there an activity level requirement?

Only when the RP has officially begun and there is more than 2 characters started. The requirement is once a week on exception of holidays and sickness. If you are inactive for more than one month after this RP has started, then your character becomes available and the RP comes to a halt.

3. Does this RP have an actual ending or is it like your other RP with no definite ending?

This RP does have an ending, but only when the 3 scenes have been played out. Please note the title of the RP, which means, in the end, it will be Seto Kaiba becoming the hero.

4. What if we don't want to play anymore due to whatever reason?

Have your character die permanently or PM me with the title of Seto Kaiba's Kingdom in the Role-playing guild as subject.

This way, if you do PM me and let me know, then I can put your character available without having to stop the RP altogether.

If you are a cannon character, you MUST PM me if you want to quit before the RP is supposed to end.

5. How do the duels work?

By random number generator 1-10. The lower number is the defeated monster.

If no guild member is said monster in a duel, then it becomes the "summoned" temporary character.

6. When do we start again, I missed it?

We start as soon as we have more than 2 cannons already in play.

Taken characters

Empress Dee Blue Eyes White Dragon - the only female Blue eyes white dragon in existance and is capable of increasing the Blue eyes white dragon population making the Ultra rare card a powerful common. She has three brothers who are currently being treated as Seto kaiba's pets.

Dee was bored as she took flight over the mountains. She no longer saw the beauty of the wintry peaks, nor did she feel the thrill of the storming clouds as she sailed across the regions of the planet where duel monsters are both cards and live creatures. She was also a tad upset that her brothers Azrael, Dibril, and Ibris have been captured by a human known as Seto Kaiba.
