Eyphah was in the most grand of moods at the moment as he flew through the air at a rather rapid pace, wings flapping hard. He had learned something that was beyond glorious, the fact that there were more then just the normal three Mara out there in the world. He had seen three new types, had battled with them, had gathered amazing treasures from them along with the heads that he had wanted to begin with. It was why he was in such a hurry now, he had a taste of the new types but now he wanted more. He wanted to find more of them, kill more of them, get their treasures, get their heads, add them to his growing collection and just revel in the fact that he was so enjoying himself of late. He knew that after becoming a Khehorian that he had grown a little complacent, he hadn't battled as much, just rested on his laurels and enjoyed all the power that came alongw ith what he had accomplished. He hadn't done much more then that though save for a few scuffles here and there. The appearance of the Mara had chance all of that though.

He knew that he shouldn't be pleased with their arrival, they were a threat to his people, to himself, and they were trying to take captives. Being around them wasn't something that he should be excited about yet... he was. He enjoyed them being around, enjoyed hunting them down, fighting them, killing them, collecting their heads as trophies. He was reveling in the glory of battle again... and he felt a touch guilty for it. Once the Mara were taken care of though he couldn't let himself get lazy again, he had to return to hunting for real, maybe dragons again? He rather enjoyed the fights with them even if they were a little more run of the mill in comparison the invasion of the Mara. It was still something that he could be doing to increase his power, his fortune, his horde, and his prowess in battle. Something he could do but for the time being he wasn't even worried about that. He had his targest after all, but good to know that they were a motivator of sorts. He couldn't spend all day cooking after all, if he did that he would end up fat and then where would he be? He refused to be the one Khehora in the world that was too fat to fly.

Giving a great flap of his wings he took himself higher into the sky, looking around the area when he finally spotted what it was that he was looking for. The Mara, a good sized group of them in fact, and he couldn't help but to give a bit of a chuckle as he watched them marching along, two by two, three different types of them. Two Crafter Mara in the front leading the way, following behind them were two Dark Mage Mara, and finally, bringing up the rear, were the glittering Diamond Mara. The fact that the most powerful of the Mara were letting some of their weaker brethren lead was interesting to him. He couldn't help but to wonder where they might be headed since, at the moment, they didn't seem to be going where he least wanted them. His family was safe from this particular group though it wasn't as though he was going to just let them do what they wanted or march on to wherever they felt like going.

No, he would stop them as he had stopped all of the others before them, and not just because he wanted their heads. No, when it came to these ones there was much more to get from them, the Diamond ones especially who carried such nice, sparkling treasures with them. All he had to do was figure out his plan of attack for this particular group. The best way to go about dealing with them The Diamond Mara, there were really only one way to deal with them, that being to beat the two of them to deal with one another, since their bodies were so tough. From the way it seemed nothing else was able to was able to even scratch them. So at least he had a plan for dealing with them. He felt that it would also be best for him to save them for last given how up close and personal he had to be with not one but two of them at once. Should he then take the Crafter Mara first since they were the weakest in the group? Or should he go for the Dark Mage Mara because he didn't want to deal with their magic for any longer then he had to. Too long exposed to their magic put him at risk and he didn't want any more magically created injuries. Not when he was a bit too far off from where Tallulah was located at the moment.

Once he beat this group he should circle around to hunt the Mara closer to home he decided. He didn't want to get too far out after all, not when there were a lot of Mara around that may put his clan at risk. Alright, so he had his plan to a degree. He'd take the Dark Mage Mara first, then the Crafter Mara, and wrap the battle up by smashing the Diamond Mara together. Once all of that was done he'd collect the heads and treasure and head for home! Alright, and here he went! Closing his wings to his side the Diabi went into a dive bomb, aiming himself toward the pair of Dark Mage Mara that were located in the middle of the group. Attacking them would be the least expected thing he thought to himself in an amused manner. Who would see him coming when he went into things in a way that made no sense when it came to normal strategy. Eyphah was far from normal though, wasn't he?

The Mara were caught off guard as he appeared suddenly from the sky, grabbing hold of one of the two Dark Mage Mara, slammed it into the other hard enough to crack them both, before heading up into the sky one more to finish off the one in his grasp with a few well placed strikes of his tail scythe. When that was done, and he'd let all of it but its head fall, he dove back down again. Dodging out of the way of a barrage of spells he hit the second Dark Mage Mara a second time, knocking its head clean off its shoulders with a well placed strike. Good, two down, four to go, time to take on the weakest type out of this group he thought to himself as he whirled around, using the scythe on the end of his tail to knock the head of one of the Crafter Mara off. The head flew a short distance, bouncing off the chest of the other Crafter Mara, and given that it seemed to distract it fairly well he lunged for it, grabbing it in his fore feet, and dragged it up into the air with him. The creature attempted to flail at him only to lose first one arm, then the other, followed quickly by its head which was tossed to land with the other Crafter Mara head.

The Diamond Mara attacked then and he was just barely able to turn in time, using the Crafter Mara's body as a shield against the spell though it still threw him back a short distance regardless. His body hit the sand and he rolled a couple times before he was able to get back to his feet. The Diabi shook off and spat out some sand before racing to one side, doing his best to keep ahead of the spells that the Diamond Mara started to sling his way. They really were a dangerous pair, weren't they? He found himself wondering exactly how he would deal with them were he to find them alone. He supposed that he might end up finding out one day but thus far he'd been lucky enough. Maybe using multiple other Mara to smash them? It would be the first thing that he would attempt were he to find a single Diamond Mara amidst a group of other types. Something he hoped he wouldn't have to deal with though.

When the wave of magical attacks ceased, giving him an opening, he slid to a halt and lunged for them. They were a sharp bunch, covered with dangerous edges, but he didn't mind dealing with that, not when it meant having a way to better defeat the Diamond Mara. Once he was able to get hold of them what came next was... well, a bit of a messy scene as he set to work using one of them as a weapon to beat the other one. The both of them were thrown off guard, then staggered, covered in many spider webs of cracks, and finally, after what felt like a while of beating them together, they shattered into a big, glittering pile of Diamond Mara bits. Their souls fled in the same manner that the Mara always did.

Turning he watched as the pair rushed off before he turned to looked over at the bodies once more. He had made quite the mess out of this group, hadn't he? It was something that had him chuckling a bit before he set to worked fishing the heads out of the mess, tossing them into a pile, then gathered up what treasures were sticking out to him. He wasn't sure what he would do with all of these random fiddly bits but he would figure it out at some point. For the time being he was gathering them because he wasn't about to leave them behind something that he had earned. Even if he didn't need the treasures they were still his, he wasn't gonna leave them for someone else to take after he'd done all the work. When everything he wanted was gathered he grabbed it up and headed for home. He had enough now that he would need to drop stuff off so that he could be on his way back into the battlefield. There were still more Mara to be fought with, meaning more heads and treasures to be had, so he wasn't going to slow down for even a moment!

Once in the air the Diabi couldn't help but to purr in a delighted manner, so happy with all that he had gathered thus far today. The sun was still up too, meaning that there was no reason for him to stop either. More battles could be had the moment he dropped off what he currently had in his grasp. Then and only then would be able to return to the battle field once again to begin the battling and gathering anew.
