Noemi thrust her trident at the little dummy she had set up. It looked pathetic but not as pathetic as she felt for just hitting something that was...standing there.
But here she was, practicing her moves with her weapon and attempting to get some practice in.
Mel's voice was a cool presence, reminding Noemi that she was not alone in her thoughts.
"I want to spar with others I just...am afraid to ask."

Chel was revving for a fight. She'd been in the infirmary way too long and needed to get back into the swing of things. Not only for her own sake, but for the sake of others around her. In the infirmary she'd been texting and tweeting so much that she was pretty sure all of her friends had her set to silent now.
< Are you sticking to the hay bales again today? > Tenebrae mused.
Nah. Let's find a pretty little thing to play with.
Lo and behold, there was Noemi just waiting for her. Chel slid in between Noemi and the dummy, holding up Tenebrae to hault one of her strikes. "Heyyy there cutie. How's it hangin'?"

Noemi was so focused on hitting the dummy with all her strength, that she didn't see or hear Chelsea slid in until her trident made a clang against the pink haired huntress's weapon.
Her eyes widened, rose to meet Chelsea's as her mouth made a small 'o' and she stared.
"I...I'M SORRY PINK RANGER!" She waved her hand, "I...I mean Chelsea! I mean...I didn't...." She just stared before hurriedly pulled Mel away from Chel's weapon. "I...I was practicing...cause I am not...good at hitting." She said in a tiny voice.

Chel laughed, endlessly amused by Noemi's flighty nature. Oh how she'd love to play with her a little-
But alas, she was Milo's. "Aw, that's not true. You were doin' fine." She rolled her shoulders a bit, stretching to prepare herself for the oncoming wrestling.
"How'd you like to wrastle with me, little lady? Just me and you?" It occurred to her that with her normal ferocity, she might actually break Noemi. Maybe she'd go easy on the girl.

"R...Really?" Noemi looked down at the ground, maybe giving a shy smile up at Chelsea. "I'll b...I'll be better soon, an..and maybe actually not be...be so scared in battle." She struggled to get out.
"W...wrestling?" Noemi looked down at her weapon, "Wi...without weapons? I...I wouldn't mind! Th...That doesn't seem as scary?"
She waited a beat...
"O...Or do you mean fighting with weapons?"

"With weapons," Chel said calmly, patience actually very applicable for this kind of thing. She was content to chew her cud (so to speak) as Noemi finished.
She reached for Noemi's darling little chin and said, "Chin up, twinkles! Gotta look proud to act proud." She grinned and let go of the girl's chin, standing where the dummy had been placed moments ago. "Alright, come at me twinkletoes!"

She did raise her chin a bit, just because Miss Chelsea said so before nodding.
"If..If you're okay with me attacking first then!" And the girl rushed a bit forward, swiping at the older hunter with her weapon, just barely grazing against Chelsea's shield..
"S...So Milo call...Calls you Pink Ranger...?" Noemi looked at the woman, "H...He calls me Magiblue. It's good to be part of...of the team."

"Ah- is that what that means? Pink ranger? He's always callin' me ZyuPink. Never really knew what it was, but it had pink in the name so I was chill with it," Chel explained, casually deflecting all of Noemi's advances, and occasionally giving her own slash of the blade.
Chel laughed at the mention of a team. "Team? Hardly call us a team. Milo's just a little loopy I think." That was okay too. Chel liked loopy.
Noemi was definitely giving her all, but Chel felt that she was holding back a bit with her strikes. "C'mon Noemi. Got a fear shield n' a head made of steel. Don't be shy with your attacks now!"

"Yes! He says um....Sentai rangers and..Kamen riders? I am still learning about them! Oh that's right! You are ZyuPink! I am MagiBlue!" she tugged at her blue scarf as to show that was the reason that she was indeed a Magiblue ranger!
"O...Oh...So..." She looked sadly at Chelsea, "You don't think...we are a power ranger team?" Noemi would've liked to think that, but maybe...
"I...I'm not good at attacking." She laughed nervously even as she swung the trident and smacking the woman with it.

"We can be a team if you want?" Chel said casually. She wasn't opposed to being on a team after all. "Why not?" It just seemed a little odd to be on a team where she only knew ... maybe two people?
But Noemi was adorable and there was no reason not to. God knew Chel needed more friends. "Nah cutie, you're doin' fine!" she assured Noemi. "Try aiming more towards my vitals. Gotta go for that killshot."

Chel nodded, parrying the trident and using it to balance herself as she slashed Noemi's side with her own blade.
"Yup, great. But see how i used it against you? Next time, try twisting it after you land a hit. That makes it do more damage AND people can't grab it." It was kind of fun getting to teach someone how to fight. She was still learning herself, but it was nice to be in a position of power for once. Normally she was on the lower end of the ladder.

Noemi flinched as Chelsea did some kind of fancy nifty turn of her body and hitting her.
"C..Can you touch other people's weapons?" without getting hurt in some way?

Chel shrugged. "Yeah, you can touch 'em. I just touched yours. Just can't wield em. And I don't think they liked being touched." The shrugging continued. "It's not considered good etiquette, but I a'int no lady."
She grinned and held up Tenebrae defensively. "Alright, one more time!"

Noemi drifted for a moment in their spar, conversing with Mel about how the trident felt about other hunters touching her.
Mel chuckled.
"Of course you are a lady Miss Chelsea!" Noemi stated, zoning back in. She mimicked Chelsea's move from earlier, sliding her trident against the girl and twisting it away from the sun huntress before she could grab it.
