Delrialto Delri: *fluffs his wings and coughs* Guinevere Adelaide Guin: *raises a brow at the stallion* Delrialto Delri: *smiles* Good evening. Delrialto Delri: Hi. *chuckles, relieved she didn't try to bite him like the last female he crossed paths with* I'm sorry but... Is it just me or are two-leggers terrifying and nosy? Guinevere Adelaide Guin: *furrows her brow* Well... I guess it depends on the two-legger? I mean... I have one who brushes me and makes sure my coat stays clean. So they can be useful. Delrialto Delri: I agree... I like one, but there's another that shows up every once in awhile and then turns the world upside down. *shakes his head, but glances at her* Your human does a good job, you are lovely. Guinevere Adelaide Guin: *blinks, taken back a bit* I... Uh.. Thanks? Delrialto Delri: *flicks a wing, smiling faintly* You're welcome. Guinevere Adelaide Guin: *just stares awkwardly in disbelief*

Delrialto Delri: *blinks at her, cranes his head around to make sure there's not a gremlin behind him, and then looks back* Are you, alright, miss? Guinevere Adelaide Guin: Uh, yeah. Yeah, I'm good. Delrialto Delri: Are you sure? *smiles and teases* You'd say something if a Skinwalker was sneaking up and gonna eat me, right? Guinevere Adelaide Well in the spirit of self preservation, I can't exactly say I'm sure. Delrialto Delri: *cants his head, sighs and slumps his wings in mock dejection* Can't blame you... Run fast, and I'll try and hold 'em off... Tell my mother and sister I died a hero, even if they laugh at you ok? Guinevere Adelaide Guin: *giggles a little* Well really, you could just fly off. Delrialto Delri: *perks again, wings folded back in order, though his glowing markings glimmered until they were hidden again by feathers* True enough, if they don't catch a wing first... But then they can surely catch you, and how could I call myself a gentleman? Guinevere Adelaide Guin: Well at least nobody would know? Delrialto Delri: I would know. *tsks* It is not the way of the men in my family... There are at least three generations within this land that would frown on me departing from our beliefs. Besides, I would be most ashamed. The death of a lovely lady on my conscience? I think not. Guinevere Adelaide Guin: I don't think I've ever met anyone like that... Delrialto Delri: Like what? *tilts his head* My great grandfather came here on a great moving craft they call a ship, with many settlers.. He has raised us in the way he was raised, as a gentleman and a knight, of sorts.. So his son my grandfather, and his son my father, are both strict followers of a code of honor... Wherein gentlemen defend and assist and honor ladies. I would not desert that to save my own feathers, it is not done. *stamps a hoof definitively, then looks bashful* But then, neither is being rude? Forgive me, Miss, I'm Delrialto, by the way... Delri is just fine, if you like. Guinevere Adelaide *practically in shock* I... I see. My name is Guinevere Adelaide. You can shorten that however you'd like Delrialto Delri: *grins and fluffs his feathers a bit* Guinevere Adelaide. A most lovely name for a most lovely lady, and it is my honor to meet you. *bows his head for a moment, then straightens* So then, Guinevere... Were you simply enjoying the day? If I have interrupted, I do apologize. Guinevere Adelaide Guin: *blinks at the bow* Oh, no. I was just out to look for some flowers. I found some, but not quite what I was looking for.

Delrialto Delri: *tilts his head* Flowers? *looks curious* what kind? Did you need them for something? Guinevere Adelaide Guin: There are these violets that grow wild around the forests. And quite honestly, they're delicious. Delrialto Delri: *hums and tilts his head, considering* I thought I saw some recently. The one human I like that I mentioned earlier? She's an herb woman, a shaman and a bit of a healer.. So we've all gotten in a habit of keeping an eye out for stuff that's useful... there was a glade a bit back down the path.. *points with his wing* That might have had some? Would you like to walk and check? Guinevere Adelaide Guin: *looks embarrassed at the thought of having to eat in front of him, but nods* Sure, that'd be nice. Delrialto Delri: *smiles and spins about so they can walk side by side* Do you wander in this area often, or only in the pursuit of especially delicious flowers? Guinevere Adelaide Guin: Well generally, my father's bear will scout ahead of me and won't let me cross when there are others around. *sighs* Delrialto Delri: *flicks an ear, looking intrigued* A bear, hmm? My grandsire has a fox, she followed us around when we were foals.. Made sure we stayed out of trouble. Is he just trying to keep you safe? I'm sure he means well, but it sounds lonely... Guinevere Adelaide Guin: *grins a little* Well, he tries to keep me out of trouble, at least. It does get pretty lonely. Delrialto Delri: *laughs* So then, it is quite a job? I like that. *drifts enough to gently shoulder her* Well.. We've met now, and I'm happy to be your friend... I can be that very annoying friend that makes sure you never feel lonely again. *blinks and feigns consideration* I -am- already that friend for another... So I'll have to schedule you and he opposite, or get you both in the same place so I can be "that annoying friend" to both of you at the same time. What sounds better for you? *winks and laughs* Guinevere Adelaide Guin: *blinks* Uh... Well, I guess I'm not really in much of a position to say no, am I? Delrialto Delri: *chuckles and shakes his head* Nevermind, Guin, it's fine. Loosen up a bit, hmm? I won't be a total pain, I promise. But I would like it, if we were friends I mean... I promise not to do the annoying bit, ok? No hostage situation. Just friends walking in search of reportedly delicious flowers... Guinevere Adelaide Guin: *smiles* Okay, deal. But if you get annoying I get to poke you with my horn Delrialto Delri: *considers this then nods* Square deal, sounds fair to me. *grins, then peers around some of the trees* Hmmm... Now to find those flowers for my very lovely new friend... Guinevere Adelaide Pumpkin: Guin: Well I shouldn't be lonely now if I have a friend, right? Delrialto Delri: I would hope not. I would then be a terrible friend, and that's the last thing I want... That's worse than the annoying friend! Guinevere Adelaide Pumpkin: Guin: I should think so! I'd have to send my father's bear after you, and she doesn't hold back! *giggles* Delrialto Delri: Not the bear! *cowers for a moment* Have mercy, oh glorious Guinevere! Mercy, mysterious lady of the forest! Guinevere Adelaide Guin: *grins* That's right! Oh, Alo would be all over that! She'd come after your friend, too, so he'd better watch out! Delrialto Delri: Ack! Not the friend too!? *straightens and shakes his head* In all honesty, if a bear went after Raik and it was my fault? I'd be in trouble. Please show mercy, I will behave, I promise! *grins and nudges her again, then stops* Hey! There's your flowers! Guinevere Adelaide Guin: *giggles* Oh all right. *stops abruptly before rushing to examine the flowers* Delrialto Delri: Good. *fluffs his feathers and waits for her determination* SO... Are those right? Guinevere Adelaide Guin: *sniffs at one of the flowers before gently plucking one from its stem* Hmm... *nips off another one* I think.. *nabs another one* They might be... Delrialto Delri: *skitters on his hooves hoping* Weeell? *fluffs his wings* Guin, come on, you're -killing- me here! Guinevere Adelaide Guin: *grins* Okay, okay! It's them! Delrialto Delri: Yes! *rears and splays his wings and seems genuinely thrilled* Good. Now I know what to look out for next time!
