Baatar was wandering again. Always wandering, always searching, weeks upon a time flew by some times. Usually for a clue or to help someone. He'd been partaking in several such events and mysterious over the past few months. Tim and Baatar still hadn't found Hanja, but it had definitely been a mission worth remembering. Tim was even more of a serious fellow than himself, and he was a little sad to part ways with him. The grey figure was coming to an area of land that seemed significantly more golden than other areas. It was dry and grassy, and in the distance he could see a large sort of rock formation. In the distance he could see many many shapes, probably bodies. He looked a little closer and saw they were dotted around. Was he coming to the borders of a pride? He should remain careful, he remembered meeting that pale lion on the borders of the pride he passed a few weeks ago. Would this pride have a guard? He knew they were all different, though.

Mati was kind of... lost. It happened more often than she liked, but she assumed she was still within the borders of the lands. At least, no one directed her back to the inlands yet, so that was something. She didnt know where anything was, except perhaps, a vague memory of where the edges of the lands were.
Perhaps someone could tell her, once she found someone else!

Baatar could see someone up ahead, and upon further inspection she didn't seem to have a menacing expression on her face. He thought perhaps if he approached slowly, he would be able to establish what was further beyond, and perhaps would be able to avoid any unecessary confrontation. He walked up to her slowly, calling out politely. "Excuse me miss." He bobbed his head and kept a safe distance from the female. You could never know what their view on outsiders was, after all. "Am I about to enter a pride, or? Shall I go the other way?" He was a little confused, but then again, she looked confused too. How strange. Maybe she was also lost.

Oh! Someone she could ask? A lion, at that. Perhaps he knew? But then, the question came and - perhaps he didn't! Well, that was fair - she didn't quite know herself. "Well! Perhaps you are, but maybe you're not. There is a pride in that direction though, and a large one!" She gave him a kind smile. "I'm afraid I don't quite know the exacts, myself. Not sure if I'm still inside, you see?" She gave a small huff, somewhat cross at herself that she couldn't remember.
But she could never remember things that well, but she would still never get over it.

"Oh!" So the lioness wasn't too sure on her surroundings either - they were in the same boat! That came as a slight relief to Baatar but then posed the possibility that they could both be in danger, until, a thought. "Are you a member of the pride?" He gave her a smile. She was a very pretty female, brown with stripes all over and a few spots dotting her pelt. If she needed help, he would certainly help her, that was kind of his thing, now.

Mati gave a small hum in response, glancing back. "I am, actually," She responded. "Though I'm newer, I think. I get lost pretty often." She didn't want to admit that she had no memory of the layout of the land today. Maybe she would remember tomorrow? She would probably have to wander around a lot again.
"It's a very nice place, honestly, but I'm not quite familiar with the borders, since it's really large..."
Zohwhee
She thought? This lioness seemed very confused, very confused indeed, and Baatar then made it his mission to ensure she found safety in whatever pride she was in. It wasn't great to be disorientated. It had happened to him once when he had a head injury after taking on the Greenwood monster, it was most disconcerting. A really large pride? Baatar was ready to assume they weren't hostile. They didn't have many creatures on patrol after all, and this lioness was part of the pride, and seemed equal parts friendly and confused. "Miss, what happened, do you need some help?" He looked at her with concern. "My name is Baatar"

Mati smiled kindly at the other. "I would, if you don't mind. One of my friends is a scout, so all of them kind of know me for wandering," she gave a small giggle. It sometimes confused her - had she met them before? More often than not, she didn't, but work could spread quickly about a disoriented lioness who didn't know where she was it happened!
"I would appreciate some help if you don't mind," she said uncertainly. "My name is Mati. It's nice to meet you, Baatar."
Zohwhee
"Mati, it's nice to meet you" He said politely. He wasn't entirely sure what was the matter with this female, maybe she had had a bump on the head, or maybe she was just the easily confused type. "Before we go, is it safe for me to escort you a little further?" He looked at the golden plains warily for a few moments. "And may I ask, what happened for you to be so confused?" He looked over the brown striped lioness with a sort of fondness for a few seconds. Helping others out made him feel good, especially when they were as kind and sweet as Mati appeared
Baatar gave her a big smile. it was an endearing trait, really. The fact that she said "a little" forgetful reassured the male that perhaps she was not as vunerable as he first imagined. He supposed she did not get walked all over and that in fact she could probably stick up for herself. He figured his best bet was to head towards the rocky formation in the distance. There seemed to be lots of creatures over that way. If Mati was in the pride then she was bound to see someone she knew, that was, if a scout didn't recognise her first. He bounced along gentle by her side. "Right, let's go and find someone you know!"
