It had been... God... He wasn't good at keeping track of time right now. It had been a while since he had seen, or talked to Camelot, and he wasn't talking about the brief time they had spent at Olympus Mons listening to the Codex. He'd been surprised then to see, and feel, the changes in the other knight, and still had little at best idea what that meant, and no answers to the questions that came with it. On the plus side, he had to figure that Camelots new power signature would make him stand out in a patrol, and it was that unique Order signature he was hunting for tonight. Camelot had not been able to be there for his purification, and as a result he wasn't even sure if the older knight would even know who he was, but he was prepared to reintroduce himself if necessary. Damn stupid Glamor and it's weirdness. The other power signature he was keeping a wary eye out for was the dark signature of a Negaverse General. Especially Painite. She had had an absolutely maniac gleam in her eyes when she'd last put him through his paces, and even now he wasn't... entirely... sure how he felt about taking her on toe to toe. They were on a level now for strength, and while he was pretty sure that net versus spear was a thing in Gladiatorial Combat... Zia would murder him if he bled on the furniture. Lithiasaur Pick whoever decides they want to play <3

Ryuthulhu maybe Camelot for now but Painite can always make an appearance Camelot was at the library, as he always was, standing on the roof and looking out over the city before he began his patrol. He found it always helped him pick a direction to start in, whether he ran far out before dropping to the ground, or hitting the streets close to the library itself to make sure that area remained well protected.
He often focused on auras, and which ones he could feel near or far from him. Right now, he felt a few lower level Negaverse soldiers, likely out and about collecting energy, and he was tempted to head toward them when he felt a much stronger one nearby. He turned his head but the aura vanished. Teleported or powered down, maybe, but it felt like a General, and that was something worth investigating. Generals worried him, because they were much more exposed to Chaos, and thus much more dangerous.
He leaped from the library roof to one nearby, landing with sure footing. Continuing on, he only stopped when he felt another strong aura nearby, though this one vividly belonged to a knight. He could no longer sense the Chaos aura, and took that as a good enough sign. He decided to go and see who the Knight was, changing his path.
Leaping down from the roof, he made sure to land a few streets from the aura he was following, so he didn't seem like he was stalking. Was it that different, walking up on equal ground or falling down near on top of them? In his mind, at least, it seemed like a nice gesture, so he strolled toward the source of the aura and nodded his head at the knight he found there.
"Good evening!"

"Tin Man!" The uniform might not have been familiar to Camelot, save for Kairatos's outburst at the Codex, (which alone might have been sufficient clue as to the identity of the Knight of Mars), but if those weren't... the nick name probably was. Kairatos beamed enthusiastically, spreading his arms wide in indication of everything he had become since their last meeting. "Check me out! You missed the whole show down on New Years!" It was entirely possible that Kairatos hadn't entirely gotten his head around the idea that, not having seen the transformation, it was just as difficult for his new allies to recognize who he had once been as it was for his foes. "Right, sorry. It's Realgar. Well... Kairatos." He added, clearly as an after thought, in case this were not, now, clear.

Camelot's expression lifted at the moniker, though his confusion was not completely alleviated until Kairatos introduced himself directly, and told him that he was Realgar once. It seemed obvious immediately, and Camelot's face split into a wide grin as it settled, but that was the power of the glamour that kept them all protected. It was a very useful magic, but sometimes it got in the way of happier things than just hiding.
"Well, look at you," he said with a nod of approval at the knight, shaking his head. "Kairatos! I must say, I think I like that name a lot more. And you look happy! How have things been? Are you adjusting well? No trouble from the Negaverse, I hope?"
He knew that same glamour that prevented him from recognizing Realgar would keep the negaverse at bay, but rumors often got around, and even if they could not know his civilian identity, it was not impossible for them to learn that one of their own had switched sides again. The last thing he wanted was to see Kairatos dragged back to Chaos, though now that Camelot was aware of him, the knight would have another powerful protector on his side.

"Ha, yeah thought you might enjoy it more." Kairatos chuckled. "Things aren't bad. Crashing with Zia for right now, but I don't think that can last forever. And no trouble from the Negas. It's almost disapointing. All that bluster and boast about how they'll destroy traitors and blah blah... and nothing." He gave an exhasperated shrug as he added. "Seriously I was looking forward to kicking the trash to the curb. How about yourself? I see I'm not the only one who got a flashy upgrade since we last chatted?" He pointed accusingly at Camelot. "Seriously we gotta get whisked to Mars before I find out about this? Also i can't say I was super stoked to find out that Order could do that."

"Well, they like to scare their members, but honestly, there is little anyone can do once someone else changes side. Still, it's best to be careful, and not let them know, either way. They can still corrupt without consent, so..."
Also kill. He knew a few Negaverse soldiers who delighted in killing. He imagined a Nega that turned on them was just perfect as far as a target for their murderous games went.
"Ah.. no, not Mars, I hope. I didn't think that place was very pleasant, either. And generally, when we get dragged places, it's not really for anything good, so at least we got out of that unscathed." He laughed, shaking his head. It was sad, when he thought about it, how many times he got dragged into space or into alternate dimensions and had to fight his way out. He'd even been to another Camelot, long before he powered up, though that was like the faded memory of a half remembered dream by now.

"They could corrupt and kill me even if they don't know." Kairatos pointed out, folding his arms in a sudden flash of stubborn. "There are others on that side who are also discontent. I heard it. I saw it. It'll mean more to them if I make it clear who I used to be than if I pretend to never have been part of the Negaverse. I'm not Lina, and someone needs to show them that you can ditch and not come back. Right now it kinda looks like I'm the only one that can do that. Are you going to tell me that's not worth it?" He challenged with a raised eyebrow, although he was pretty sure that the answer was no. If Camelot himself had gone out of his way to talk with agents like himself, surely he couldn't argue against someone else wanting to do the same.

Camelot's expression fell and he glanced away, and for a long moment he did not speak. He took a slow breath, gathering his thoughts and trying not to get too distracted from the moment at hand by other worries and memories. He nodded his head and smiled.
"Well, we all must do what we think is right. I just don't want you getting hurt for the sake of it, that's all. I'm not trying to argue a point with you."
He smiled gently and shook his head.
"There's a line between making a stand and believing in something, and just putting yourself in harms way. If there are those that are willing to listen, then it will always be worth it. If I were in your shoes, I would think much the same way as you. I would want them to see what can happen, if they chose to leave the Negaverse, and that the option is there for you. But I am not in that position. I am on the outside, looking at a friend who has made a difficult decision, and is doing something dangerous, that few would be brave enough to do. From here, I do not wish to see that friend hunted down, and made an example of. Or another example, as the case may be. Just know that if you do need allies in this campaign of yours, I will stand beside you."

"I do appreciate that." Kairatos admitted, letting this fact take some of the fuel away from the fire of his blazing moment of noble pride. "I'm honestly not sure they are coming. At least not with the expedience i would have expected." He crinkled his nose with an expression that indicated he was maybe even a little disappointed. He had been hoping a little bit that, much as he had come to despise the man, Zinkenite or even absent Howlite might have realized that loosing him was a mistake. A notable loss, and at least come to make promises, even if he had no intent to accept them. "Apparently, I'm not even of enough value to them to have noticed my absence from the roll call." Maybe more than a little bitterness slipped in to his voice at this, and he attempted to banish it with a wave of his hand. No sense being angry. What was the point? He could possibly chase down Zinkenite's favorite pets and take out his frustrations on them, but that would do no one any good... least of all him personally. What good did it do to break your toes kicking a lump of rock because someone had mistaken it for a precious diamond. "I think it's worth the risk. We have you, we have Iris, we have others... we shout loud enough and others start jumping ship... it's going to start making an impression. ESPECIALLY if General King Fun Size keeps pretending everything's fine. The whole damn negaverse has got to be like a goddamn Jenga tower, and no one notices because they all have their eyes on high, waiting to be blessed with a moment of favor. If they start loosing pieces though... God we could shake them bad." He insisted this eagerly, holding out his hands as though he could almost -grasp- the very fabric of chaos in his hands and shake it like a dusty Curtain. "How can we NOT take that risk?"
