Are we not able to start out with the rare crystals? We have to find them along the way? Like If I was to make a character based off of it

*raises hand* another question! So my character is going to be a Shadow Mage, does the crystals consist of ALL their powers? Because I was wondering if she could have powers, but the crystal she has allows her to summon certain Shadow Monsters. Such as on her own she could meld into the shadows and disappear (kinda like teleportation) and make things move, make the area darker, shadow manipulation (like making a whip or something), but the crystal allows her to summon her creature. So then on that note, I was going to give her a Shadow Form, making part of her story (and weakness) that the more she uses her powers the larger the threat it is for her shadow form to consume her and she will cease to exist, is that alright to be, again, aside from the crystal?

There is no magic in this world. Magic is dead and gone. All that remains of magic are potions. If you want powers then there are 3 ways to do it 1. Grab a gem or crystal. Be creative with the powers and side effects. 2. Technology. Cybernetics can mimic some things. 3. Last use potions. But potions are very limited. I hope this answers everything. I'm at work and on my phone so sorry for any weird auto corrects that might pop up

Wait so then the crystals have to be specific, like I would have to have two different ones for shadow form and shadow hound, or can I roll them all into one? My abilities were going to feed off of one another, one limiting the other and so forth

But if you want to heal, then you will need a crystal for that.

Ok I get it, different crystals for magic types, otherwise those crystals have the specific ability sets to them. Like have fire or water type, since they are different categories you need separate crystals for them.

Quote: what the potions and crystals are there? There is what ever type of potion you want. Describe what effects it has. If it sounds reasonable then you can have it. Same with crystals. Just remember crystals also have to have a side effect of using them.
