Loved it, square did a great job with it, despite it being low budget. The story made me think, and the bosses were just awesome. That sound track, was amazing and fit in so well.

PunkyHeart_Vampire Ahh I played this game quite a while ago~ I remember buying it for not much at all at le gamestop... I also remember the soundtrack && graphics being beautiful ;~; I should play it again before I go back to college! It was such a good game! The setting was so creative! And I totally agree with you on the music! It was so gorgeous! And while it did have it's extreme cheesy moments, the depressing highlights in the plot really counteract them. Almost to the point that I really think it needed those silly cheesy moments. Not to mention, I dunno if you know this, but after you beat the game and play it a second time (and a third) you get to see more sides of the story that you didn't see before! I really loved it. And the characters were so much fun! <3

Extreme Cuddler Loved it, square did a great job with it, despite it being low budget. The story made me think, and the bosses were just awesome. That sound track, was amazing and fit in so well. Agreed! I think my favorite part of it was the setting. I had never seen something that was quite like that. Sure Final Fantasy was a 1000 years into the future but in Nier, no one remembered the modern days. And I LOVED how there were ruins of the old modern buildings.

I liked the setup, like the "tutorial" and how that character ended actually being a part of the story. I also played drakengard 3 which was suppose to be like Nier, since its also square enix but, I have to say there was a lot of disappointment in that one.

And since then I've never picked it back up. Honestly I'd have to find the game again. *_* But I've heard it's really good!

The one where you get all the weapons. :/

I am thinking of going back to college though and leaving my day job.
