Gaia Game Exchanges

Here posted below are the details for all of the different Exchange Lists and supplemental materials as posted by various people.

First Here I will post the details for the Exchange Lists as posted by Yuzi_k edited by us.

~~~~~~~~~~
How-to Make
This part is easy. Just haul all of your bugs that youve collected in towns (or bought) to Moira's store in Durem. There should be a link /within/ her store that will take you to the Bug Exchange. The inks are used to dye the wrapping paper on regular and deluxe flower bouquets.
You will need 50 of a certain color bug to make 1 ink pot (fireflies and cicadas= black ink, crickets= brown). (THIS EXCLUDES THE RARE BUGS) This means that if you have 50 grashoppers, you are able to make 1 green ink pot. When you have enough bugs to make a certain color ink, Moira will display that ink in her 'exchange offers' section. Clicking on the color of ink that is possible will take you to the exchange screen.
On the exchange screen, there are two areas. Direct trades are when you have enough bugs to make the ink without having to choose which bugs to deduct. This area also displays when mixing inks to make others is possible. Multiple Item Trades are when you want to use one type of bug over another or want to combine bugs to make a certain color ink. Some inks not available through mixing, or require tons of the other inks to mix.
Rare Bug/Ink Mixing Info:
Gold Ink: Yellow Ink x1 + White Ink x1 = Gold Ink x1
Purple Ink: Blue Ink x5 + Red Ink x5 = Purple Ink x1
Orange Ink: Red Ink x5 + Yellow Ink x5 = Orange Ink x1
White Ink: Red Ink x5 + Blue Ink x5 + Green Ink x5 = White Ink x1
Pink Ink: Red Ink x5 + White Ink x1 = Pink Ink x1
Green Ink: Yellow Ink x1 + Blue Ink x1 = Green Ink x1 -or- Yellow Ink x5 = Green Ink x1
Brown Ink: Red Ink x1 + Green Ink x1 = Brown Ink x1 -or- Green Ink x5 = Brown Ink x1
1 Golden Legs: 1 gold ink, 1 yellow ink, 1 green ink.
1 Great Monarch: 1 orange ink, 1 white ink, 1 black ink.
1 Whistler: 1 yellow ink, 1 black ink.
1 Demonfly: 1 black ink, 1 red ink.
There are, to our knowledge, only 22 hats.
The trash exchange is located in the Gambino hat rack.
Peyo is in charge of the exchange. The gist is the same as
exchanging bugs. Once you have enough papers to make a hat,
the type of hat will appear in the exchange offers section.
The area below will be divided into types of paper.
How To Make
Just like the bugs and trash, the number of flowers determines the type of item you receive. The Flower Exchange is located at the Barton Flowershoppe. Rina is in charge of it. There are 3 types of bouquets available -- single, regular, and deluxe. The ribbon option is only available in the regular and deluxe bouquets. You may dye the paper to wrap the flower, or you can leave the wrapping plain. Same with the ribbons :3 Finally, a use for those inks!
When you have enough flowers, Rina will display which flowers are able to be made into bouquets. Clicking on the type of flower you want to make into a bouquet takes you to the exchange offers screen for that flower. This is where you will choose which type of bouquet to make.
When you choose to make a bouquet, the flowers and gold will be deducted from your account, along with any inks you use to dye the paper and ribbons. Inks are one time use only.
Single Bouquet Cost: 100 gold ~ Flowers: 1
Regular Bouquet Cost: 1000 gold ~ Flowers: 10
The F.A.Q.
What/Where is the Fish Exchange?
Well, the Fish Exchange is a room in Logan's shop on Bass'ken Lake. (You get can either get there by clicking the "Exchange Fish" sign on the wall, or clicking the "Exchange" button on the chart up there.) In there he keeps a vast trove of hats for those who would like a wearable symbol of their fishing achievements, as well as larger fish for those who have way too much of the small fry.
How do I get a hat?
You go to the Fish Exchange with the right amount of fish (or junk) in your inventory.
What's the right amount of fish? How many do I need?
See the chart up there? You need to have that number of that kind of fish (or junk) in your inventory in order to get the item on the right. (For example, you need 100 Red Guppies in your inventory to get a Red Guppy Cap from Logan.)
Where do I sell my fish?
One of two places: [1] The Fishing Store. That's where you buy the bait and stuff. (It's not the Fishing Exchange!) Just click on the fish at the bottom of the screen. [2] The marketplace on the Isle de Gambino. For more information, check the Fishing Ubersticky at the top of the Fishing Forum.
So what happens if I catch 100 fish but I sell them all? Do I get a hat then?
Nope. You need them all in your inventory at the same time before you walk into the Fish Exchange.
What happens if I don't catch all the fish in my inventory?
Logan doesn't care, as long as you've got the right amount.
Do I get to keep my fish after I get a hat?
Sorry, but this is an exchange. You exchange your fish (or junk) for the item.
What do I do once I've got my nifty item?
You can either wear it, or sell it.
I don't like my item! Can I have my fish back?
Not from Logan. He's rather possessive of the fish he gets for some odd reason.
Can I preview my hat before getting it?
Unfortunately not. Fortunately, we've got models for you, so you can see what the hats look like before you exchange for a hat you don't like.
Enough about hats. What's this about Direct Trading?
Well, for those of you out there that can't reel in a large fish to save your lives, Logan's decided to be a little bit more generous. If you bring in 10 of a smaller class of fish, he'll trade you for one of a larger variety.
Do I get to pick which variety I trade for?
Nope. Look at the second chart, and what you see is what you get.
Can I trade 1 larger fish for 10 smaller ones?
Logan won't do that, but another Gaian might. Try the Fish Market section of the Gaia Exchange forum.
Does this mean that if I have a whole bunch of large fish, I can get a rare fish?
No, Logan isn't going to hand out punfish, fishinos, or gemback lions. Sorry.
Previews of the above Hats can be foundHere.
LAST PR!CE UPDATE: no more pricing. too hard to be accurate.
Do not ask if i know where or when to catch the rare bugs, if i knew, i'd post it. I have not caught a rare bug! so I don't know!
These bugs are in no particular order, but those marked with a " User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show. " are the rare bugs. <3
Sometimes I wonder why they call the dragonfly a DRAGONfly... it doesn't have scales, no claws, no massive mouth of teeth and doesn't breathe fire. Some people just have TOO much imagination.
The blue butterfly always gets asked the question 'Why are you always so sad?' Little do his friends know, that by asking that question they only make him feel worse. Because he's just being moody and just wants to be left alone and he doesn't need someone to point out the obvious, which he has no power to change. Geez.
Wonder what you can do with these bugs now that you've caught them? Well, the answer is inks. :3 The following is the list of colors of possible inks, but note that some you need bugs to make, but others you need mix inks to create them.
