It had been any other night in Lilith's world; sex, sin, and sex. She had grown disinterested with the same old procedures of her day. Wake up, run her businesses, possibly pleasure one or three people. She hadn't gone on a misison since the last one with Amias, and Lilith was craving an adventure. So when some stranger asked for her aid in dungeon diving her compliance wasn't far off. Lilith was told to meet the traveler in the crypts, which wasn't her most unusual request by far. As she descended into the realm of the dead and gone Lilith fondly recalled her time of creation. Here she had brought to life two minions, two children of her own to fight for her. But those days of dabbling in dark arts were long since past, at least for now. Lilith took the twists and turns that were described to her and shortly arrived at the meeting point. She was decked out in her general garb of leather and more leather, with her hair free flowing. This time she had an accessory of sorts; a wicked looking whip coiled at her side. "I hope you're ready to cough up some more details. I'm all up for finding hidden treasures but I'd like to keep my head where it is." Liltih said, referring to these caves and dungeons having a habit of being trapped. With her knowledge she would be highly prepared for anything. Being able to sense emotion, Lilith would know when someone was near. Having an innate ability to detect magic would alert her to energy based assaults from any front. Vibration sensory would tip her off to any shifting in the earth or walls around them. In other words, Lilith was hella ready for anything that came down the road.

The man waited deep within the crypts for her to arrive as the darkness was beginning to become unsettling. Once she arrived, he had calmed down considerably before he walked towards the gates. He turned as she wanted to know more about the quest as he nodded. "Well, the catacombs are one of the few areas less investigated here in Luimira... not many kings go down here. So it is very likely the place is trapped to the last grain of sand. The treasure is suppose to be a single use item for a wish... it supposedly belongs to one of the long lost flame djinns." He told her, giving her details of the catacomb's expected parts but a high valued reward.

Lilith crossed her arms over her chest and slowly nodded her head as he spoke. It seemed pretty straight forward, though as an added precaution the succubus snapped her fingers and conjured drew upon her energy. A raspy growl went off as a cougar made out of Lilith's magic spawned before her. She knelt down and scratched it under the chin, directing it forward. "My little kitty here will lead the way. Cannon fodder, you know?" Lilith said, waving a hand and sending the creature forward. The succubus gestured for the man to walk with her as she sauntered forward, following in the footsteps of her conjured beast. "So a wish, huh? What are you looking for that can't be found somewhere else? Money? Fame? Power? I know a girl who can bend like you've never seen, if that's what you're into." Lilith already had two of three of those. The last would come in time. She was a surprisingly patient being. There would come a day when the masses would kneel in terror and joy. But for now she'd grind missions and travel with strangers in hunt of fabled items.

She had summoned a large magic set cougar as he watched it move onward. "Cannon Fodder? Huh... new term." He responded as the cat moved on ahead as he walked with her to the gates and opened them up wide. He noticed her sauntering and it made him blush but he shook his head a bit. "I am more on the family set. I do not care for any of those things... but it is said that this wish could grant someone love as well... love for a night." He told her as he walked with her into catacombs themselves.

Lilith couldn't really see the traveler's face, but she could tell how he was feeling. It seemed she had a prude on her hands, and that meant she was going to ******** with him. Maybe even literally. At his admittance to wanting to waste a wish on love, only for a night at that, Lilith practically snorted. But because that would be an unattractive noise she instead scoffed and shook her head. "Love for a night? I could give you that for free, honey. No traps and the stench of dead people, either. And what the hell is love anyway? Some warm and fuzzy feeling you get inside of you? Meh." Lilith said sardonically, wondering why it was that people sought something as fickle and fake as love. In all of her years Lilith had been in and around the business of pleasuring. Many people who came to her for gratification and cheap thrills did so with another thing in mind. Those poor saps hoping to find love in a hopeless place, to have the undying appreciation of another or that one person to hold when it was cold out. Lilith did not need a single one of these things. He told her as they continued to walk through the catacombs the air becoming thick and slowly becoming dust. Only three passageways stood before them as he looked to her as she continued to talk. "I do not feel the need to have love... I only told you that it can grant utter desire and love for only a night... no wishes can last forever. But I despise the instances of love." He told her as he was trying to decide which way to go. "Which way should we go?" He asked Lilith as he stepped aside for her to take the lead.

And they had come full circle. Maybe the traveler was looking to bring a lost love back from the dead. If that was the case Lilith could direct him to a few decent necromancers. Of course they wouldn't be the same, but that's not a very big deal. At least to the succubus. She lapsed into silence for awhile until they came to the split in the way. The traveler left the decision up to Lilith which led her to believe this guy really had no idea where he was going. A silent exasperated sigh left her mouth, but the stranger wouldn't know because she had stepped past him. These crypts went on for miles underneath Luimira. They could be at this for days. Shouldn't lost treasures come with a complimentary map in the least? At random, Lilith chose a direction. "Left, it seems like the place to go." She had no way of knowing, of course. With a wave of her hand the succubus sent her cougar forward, padding along the packed dirt. A part of the she-devil was seriously yearning for something to happen. The traveler didn't seem to be much for conversation and Lilith wasn't exactly crazy enough to start talking to herself. She wanted to keep her mind on the mission in the event that some random and sudden trap triggered.

It was very ironic that her thoughts were sent into traps, for as the cougar was going by, it had triggered a wire. From literally the opposite passageway, a storm of darts were sent flying at the two. The traveler was not in the same range as the Succubus, but he was fast enough to turn and spin his sword before him horizontally. The speed it went created a small wind barrier to deflect the darts coming at him.

Trigger wires and darts? Had Lilith stepped into a treasure hunter movie? Once the wire snapped the cougar instantly tensed and stood up, taking the darts for the succubus who had not bothered to move from her spot. She knew it would take more than that to finish off her creation. The woman turned her head to the traveler who had managed to deflect the projectiles with a twirl of his sword. There were plenty of other ways Lilith could have defended herself. A gust of wind generated from her energy, lifting up a rock, jumping behind the stranger and using him as a meat shield; these were all valid methods. Of course she could have taken out her whip but frankly the energy would have been a waste. Lilith gestured to her cougar who continued forward. "See? Cannon fodder." It was very evident that this particular character had no qualms with using other beings and sacrificing them if it got her ahead. Without having to say anything else the cougar started forward yet again. There was a very slight change in Lilith though. A faint smile decorated her face and she seemed eager. Traps weren't set up to protect nothing. Maybe they'd find something interesting in this dank and dirty crypt after all.

"Looks like Left is a bad idea since it already sprung a trap... unless you want to head down there still." He told her as he moved his cape around to cover his arms once more. "We need to get moving though... I can hear something... reloading."

There was a creeping feeling encroaching in Lilith's brain. She had the strong notion that no matter where they went bad news was to follow. Lilith turned back and chose to go through the middle route. But instead of taking the cougar with her she directed it to continue down the left passage. If indeed something was to happen down this path but the cougar made it down the other she would know. "I do hope this isn't one of those 'third time is the charm' scenarios." Lilith said as she proceeded down the hall with confidence. The first step to losing was to doubt ones ability. It wasn't to say that the succubus didn't know her own limits. The very fact that she did left her secure in knowing what she could react and handle to. Traps definitely fell into that category.

The man nodded and began to walk with her down the center route while the cougar went it's way. No sooner did they enter the center passageway did another trap spring, but thankfully the trap only activated in the left corridor, and it was a falling ceiling, crushing the cougar. "It seems as though we'll be alright... for now." He said as they continued onward towards what appeared to be a large door ahead.

The feeling of the cougar fading from existence made Lilith almost laugh.She cracked a smirk and shook her head. Better that mass of energy than her. As they continued on in silence and met with a door. Lilith clapped her hands together and as she opened them the staff of her scythe grew out of nothingness. Once it fully formed she twirled it once and put the butt of handle on the door and pushed. Lilith was a good 6 feet away from the door in case they opened it and something else decided to spring out and try to destroy her.

The door opened, but no trap was active as the traveler entered the chamber with her, although it seemed as expansive as there was no light to aid in lighting the way. Once they were inside, the doors closed behind them both as he looked around, the entire room was dark, but something was a bit new as he took a step. In both of their eyes, three rings flowed out from underneath them outwards into the darkness, it went out for a little while before fading away 30 feet away from them. "An echolocation room."
