The New Magistrate The New Magistrate is a minor guild formed from elites of the Asmodius Corps and the Injustira Syndicate, in the hopes of creating a body that would act as a police force for the cities of Occulas that were a part of the Guildeam. Forged in 1879, it has had many years to perfect and spread across the Lands of Occulas. The New Magistrate is now comfortably stationed in each major city within Occulas, acting as the body of security and law enforcement until higher powers are needed, such as the guild's themselves or the Guardian's in the event of a threat.

Non-magic Earth Embassy (NEE for short) & The Occult Allowing anyone from Magic Earth to live in the non-magic counter-part is tricky, so the NEE focuses on assessing anyone hoping to move and live with the mundane people of Non-magic Earth so that no outside threats can break out and jeopardise the existence of the magic world. It is a highly authoritative organisation based in Neutral City with the power to restrict or allow access from the crossing to Non-Magic Earth. The dragons of the Crossing, although more powerful, allow the NEE to pass judgement on individuals. It has been known for the dragons however, to act on their own minds and sometimes making a better choice. Originally, anyone crossing the worlds answered to the Occult, who protect Non-Magic Earth, however since the New Magistrate was formed in 1879 the embassy was also forged to control from this side of the crossing, leaving the Occult to control who comes in, and keep an eye on those that pass through.
To begin, everything started with the Great Voyage in AD 1. When King Asmodius II moved all Magic Folk to Magic Earth, three of the few remaining Eternal stayed behind with a large group of people dedicated to keeping Magic Earth out. This group became known as the Occult. Absóluté is the Occult's capital city in a secret region called Umbra (secret to Non-Magic Earth atleast) which is located on the coast of Florido within the Bermuda Triangle, and is where its most important tasks ad responsibilities are carried out. Ever since it was formed, the Occult has been a mysterious group that kept Magic Earth a secret, and over the coarse of many centuries they found themselves protecting the world more than they originally thought. With less magical power flowing free from the Magic Folk, Non-Magic Earth became a land of 'pockets' that allowed demons to slip through occasionally. For this, the Occult became known as demon hunters. Their protection spread across the world and eventually bases known as Cults where rooted down all over the world, each connected to Absóluté via portal. Once the NEE was formed a weight was lifted from the Occult, specifically after the rise in demon attacks, as well as the notorious amount of magic crime among the Magic Folk with the growing populations in Non-magic Earth.
"Over two millennia ago the Occult was born with the alliance of three Eternal. The Occult was born under the rule of Asmodius Leonhart the second under decree to keep the world of Magic Earth hidden from non-magic folk until the end of time itself. Though, after two millennia our purpose has expanded, our laws remain the same." - Consul Charlotte Highland, Autumn 2016, addressing the Occult at the Autumn Ball (the beginning of the Valiant Festival) to celebrate the beginning of the Occult.
From the three Eternal that remained stem the groups that more specifically make up the Occult of which work behind the scenes. The Valiant are trained and blessed by the Sisters of Light, and are equipped by the Servants of the Pentacle, who create weapons and armour. The Valiant can be divided into Demon Hunters and Enforcers, those that hunt and kill stray demons and monsters, and Valiant that focus more on Magic-folk crime in the Non-magic world. Now, the Sisters of Light operate mostly during the day in their glass spires on the northern tip of the Bermuda Triangle. There they work on harnessing the Sun's pure light to protect and heal the Nephernal (the collective term to describe anyone in the Occult after bearing the Eternal Crown, including Servants, Sisters and Valiant). Meanwhile on the southern corner the Servants of the Pentacle forge weapons and armour in the depths beneath Puerto Rico. The first Servant of the Pentacle was known as Arch Druid Mysal, and found that through evocation intense energy could be summoned by his ancestors. You will find anything made by the servants to bear a pentacle engraved or stamped onto it. In a similar way the Sisters of Light were began by Helia, a woman who, through her powers of the Occulanium like the other Eternal, could summon the opposite of physical and spiritual strength. She believed in purity and magical power drawn from the light and air. Whereas these two groups played a bigger role in the past, now they are overshadowed by the more dominant, larger portion of the Occult that was first to be converted by the Eternal Crown. Before the Sisters and the Servants were ascended by the Eternal crown (to be explained next), Abel Kerberos agreed to begin the Occult and when he eventually died he left his immortal knowledge in the Eternal Crown. Several centuries later two other Eternal; Mysal and Helia were recruited. Having known Abel well before the Great Voyage, these two made sure to give what they could to the Occult when demonic forces seemed to grow in Non-magic Earth.
The Eternal Crown is an artefact left behind by Abel Kerberos, the first Valiant. It was blessed by his wisdom and some of his blood, ensuring that the Occult would survive. In Non-magic Earth, magical powers are not as strong as in Magic Earth, causing there battles to be perilous. However, after adorning the Eternal Crown during a ritual, their blood is enhanced and their mind is renewed, as though taking on some traits from Abel, turning who were once humans into Valiant, a new race.
The Occult is now an almost entirely separate organisation acting as the authoritative figure for all Magic-folk in Non-magic Earth. It is divided into two major halves; the demon hunters and enforcers - though their roles may overlap on numerous occasions. The Occult operates on a heavy organised system and in charge of all this is the three Aspects who listen directly to the Senate. The three Aspects are made of a single figure from the Sisters of Light, the Servants of the Pentacle and of the Senate. Singularly they are the Matriarch, the Patriarch and Consul. The Sisters all look up to their Matriarch equally, as do the Servants do their Patriarch. But beneath the Consul of the Valiant are two Senate Praetors, who assist the Consul in any way they can and often converse with the Senate much more when the Consul is too busy. Each Cult across Non-magic Earth also has a leader called a Tribune, who runs the Cult politically and represents the entirety of the Cult when meeting in Absolute with the Senate (all Valiant that are adults and are present in the city at the time). The Tribune also runs the Cult's tactical assaults of Demon Hunters and gives orders to the Enforcers to assure no crime is left un-judged by the Eternal Crown. Tribunes are elected by the Consul and the Praetors, whilst new Praetors are chosen by the Consul, and the Consul is often chosen by the previous Consul. If the Senate disagrees so much however, nominees can be voted in and the Consul and Praetors decide who would benefit the Occult more as the new Consul. Matriarchs and Patriarchs are assigned only when the previous dies, which is not often, as they often live for much longer than Valiant do. The Valiant also have little say in this matter.
