Tonight, Megrez decided to patrol the rooftops as opposed to the ground. It wasn't something she did often, though she really should have considered doing it more (especially since the first General to attack her made her initial strike from above). It just seemed like more happened on the ground, but hey, hopping from roof to roof was actually quite fun. There was omething about the way the wind felt around her when she jumped and sailed through the air that she found herself loving. After a while, Megrez sort of danced across the rooftops, humming to herself and enjoying her little outing. Suddenly, a prickling feeling caused her to stop mid-lazy pirouette. Yes, she knew this feeling quite well: a Chaos aura. Not a particularly strong one, either, which Megrez took as a good sign. It always made her feel good when her patrols actually bore fruit (and fruit she could handle herself, at that). She took a peek over the rooftop and spotted what appeared to be the source of the aura. A lady Nega, huh? This could be interesting. Megrez was feeling particularly mischievous tonight. She felt quite certain that she wanted to mess with this lieutenant. There was something she always wanted to try: dropping an egg on someone from high up. However, her eggs were precious, and she only had three of them. She would save them for a bit. Getting a guaranteed hit would be better than just randomly testing out her little joke. So instead, she picked up a small stone from the rooftop and tossed it down near the lieutenant. She didn't intend to hit her with this stone; only to spook her with the sound. Graceangel Here we go! Let me know if you want anything changed.

This was actually one of Pie's first ventures out and about in town. Up till now, she had spent most of her time with the negaverse exploring and learning about what that was. She was trying to be acquainted with the people she was working with. Sure, it was more like joining an army than it was getting a new job; but she didn't quite realize that just yet. She sometimes while roaming the rift would hear pairs of agents talk about their patrols and energy collecting missions.
She had been wondering if doing any of that was particularly hard. Could she do it on her own? She had plenty of confidence in herself as that was usually a non issue. She had slipped out at night. She had brought a black cloak with her. She wasn't sure if she would need to shield herself from unfriendly eyes, but you just never knew. She brought it just to be prepared.
She was pulling it up over her head to slip out of an alley. Just before she had it on her head, she saw a stone fall next to her. It only just barely missed her. She gave that stone a suspicious eye. Isn't that weird for that to .... Well, s**t. She bet that didn't just fall out of nowhere. She pulled up her cloak over her head. With it up and pulled around her, she might look suspiciously like a sith lord.
She dashed behind a dumpster while looking around the parameter. She kept looking and didn't see. She tried to look up towards the rooftops, but that was just too high for her to see well at night. She reached into the little satchel on her hip. She unfastened it and pulled out her straw. Probably big help this would be, but it couldn't hurt to at least get something ready. She slipped some little balls of the paper that came off of the straw in her mouth rolling them around. Putting the straw to her lips, she pushed one in the end she'd fire it from. She tucked the others up in the gums between her upper lip and her teeth.
She then peeked her head out from around the dumpster looking.

Megrez had to shove her fist partly in her mouth to keep from laughing. Bingo! She'd gotten the Negaverse agent on high alert. However, Pie's mistake was focusing her attention on the ground and the nearby area. Megrez followed the aura, and when it stopped moving, she peeked over a rooftop edge. It was a bit hard to tell now that her target was cloaked, but she was pretty sure she knew where her target was. Cupping one hand, she materialized an egg... and dropped it straight down off the edge of the building. Hopefully it would hit and Megrez could have herself a laugh before she went down to brawl.

Well, objects dropped from high buildings usually pick up weight and impact on their way down. This is a known thing for those who ever threw water balloons. Even a quarter dropped from up high could have some weight when it hits the ground. Thus, when the egg hit the top of her cloak that covered her head. She had two thoughts. Her first was OUCH! Mother.... bleeping.... Piece of.... Her other was dang it. It is coming from above! She reached a hand up to touch whatever it was. She felt egg shells and runny egg whites.
She brought her hand back to her face to sniff it carefully. Oh gross!!! She wished somehow she had an ability to shoot cannons worth of pie filling at whoever was doing this. Sadly, she couldn't. All she could do was use her straw, but there was no way her straw would reach. Gravity would prevent anything she shot from even getting that high.
She remained hunkered down as she tried to figure out what to do. She then looked at a fire escape ladders up the side of the alley. She then ran over, grabbing the bottom of it. She hoisted herself up. She quickly started sprinting up the stairs. Too bad she didn't have one of those things you could shoot and hook onto the end of a ledge. She couldn't think of what it was called, but she knew it would be invaluable at the moment. Another set of hands would also be great.
Yet, here she was. She had to make do with what she had.

Bingo again! The egg had hit its mark, and this time Megrez didn't bother holding back her laughter. She had always wanted to do that! This couldn't have been more perfect if she had set the scene up entirely herself. However, she was certain now that her target was on the move, and she thought she heard the sound of something coming up the stairs. There wouldn't be much room for a tussle on the stairs, so Megrez was going to wait for the lieutenant to come to her. Did Negaverse lieutenants have jumping powers like senshi did? That would make things a bit faster (and perhaps solve a few problems if one of them fell off the roof).

The people in negaverse did so in fact jump like senshi, but Lt. Piemontite failed to find her way to any appropriate training areas or instructors. She was hitting the ground running and discovering things for herself. That was fine enough. Once she had gotten up on the fire escape, she had felt the move up there different. She braced her body, and she leaped up to see how far she could get up. It was only a few stories, but she was very close to the roof. She wished she knew how to do that stuff where people could run and jump on rooftops and use things in their environment to maneuver around with.
One more leap, and she was crouched on the ledge of the rooftop. In an almost frog like pose, she quickly started to work up some ammo in her mouth. Touching her straw to her lips, she loaded it up. Gross was most deserving of gross, so she felt no shame or guilt in blowing this at that senshi. Since she had never done this before, she really wasn't sure if she was even close enough to land a hit. She might need to move in.

Finally, Megrez's target had arrived. Grinning, she (foolishly?) came a bit closer to the lieutenant. "Those jumping powers are neat, aren't they? Very handy." When she noticed just what Piemontite was getting ready to do, she stopped walking. "What's that you've got there? It looks like a straw." She realized that she was being a little too lax about this situation; even if the weapon looked like a straw, who knew what it was loaded with? Granted, the woman in front of her seemed to be only a lieutenant, so it couldn't have been anything too powerful. Not willing to take any chances, Megrez rushed Piemontite, hoping to be able to grab her or tackle her or at least give her a punch to start things off.

Wow, so aggressive. Then, she reminded herself that some of the most fun she had ever fun usually came with excessive amounts of aggression. Still, when she saw that girl make her move. Pie's narrowed. She knew she had to move and quick. s**t. She wasn't used to playing hopscotch with rooftops. One thing was for sure, she had to move inward and away from the ledge; lest she get knocked backwards off of it. Fall back down to have more eggs rained on her? Nope. Not even.
She then moved to the side and darted forward. As she moved, she went to slide a foot out to catch the ankle of the other girl. Man. Maybe she needed to take up some kind of martial arts class to develop a better awareness of how to move her body in a situation like this. If this was between the sheets, it'd be easy and no question what to do. For now though, she was stuck in a situation that was brand new.
All she could do was watch the movements of the other and make her best guess as to what to do. Touching the tip of her straw to her mouth, she loaded it up, and she blew on that straw. Hopefully, she was close enough it'd hit her. With any luck, she'd get a headshot.

Megrez felt something ping off her forehead. Foolishly (for sure foolishly this time), she stopped and reached up to touch where it had landed. Okay, so whatever had hit her, it wasn't sharp. She noticed a tiny wad of something (paper?) by her left boot, and then it occurred to her just what had hit her. "Spitballs? Really? Even if they're magic spitballs, do you really think that's gonna do anything?" In a moment of discretion, she refrained from adding that the lieutenant's fists would be a better weapon than her stupid spitballs. No point in giving advice to the enemy, right? Even though Megrez had stopped charging for the time being, she was still on the defense, ready to dodge or counter if Piemontite made a move closer.
