Chel was getting mildly bored at this pointed. She'd been doing a LOT of talking today, and was getting a little worn out. She just kept telling herself how valuable the information was and how much it was relieving her conscious (though some more than others).
"Next!" she called from the table. Only a little bit more. Just a bit.nyxtsuki moon just to provide some ic context; Astra has been asked to perform an interview for a local newspaper, for whatever reason. The interview is taking place at Amityville High School. the room is bare, it has one table, two chairs and some small windows. chel is a 6' male avarice (envy) demon. he has pale white skin, dark black hair, two giant horns. he has a business suit with green/pink accents.

Amphi bounced into the room, looking around.
"Hi! Someone said there was flowers to be delivered here?" She looked at the male demon before dropping a box on the table. "Are you Missus...Pumpkingrove, I hope you enjoy your flowers!" The box had the usual logo of her line of work, Bloody roses with a black rose and dew drops of blood neatly printed in the middle.
"Another successful delivery!"

Chel looked at the flowers, then up to the girl. "Tragically, I am not Miss Pumpkingrove. However, you must be Amphi," Chel said knowingly. She wasn't a stalker, really. Her information card said she was working at a flower shop.
Though those flowers were ... not what Chel would consider pleasant. "Do give my condolences to Miss Pumpkingrove."

"Oh."
Amphi looked sadly down at the bouquet in the box and sighed.
"Oh Ruth will be upset but I guess I will pay for these ones myself. You can keep them!" She looked around, "So what's this place for? How come you're just sitting here?"

Chel tilted her head, confused by this little one. Her eyes went downwards ... well maybe not little everyhwere.
s**t! Wait she was supposed to be professional crap.
"Did you, Amphi, not fill out this interview form," she said, casually holding up the piece of paper with her handwriting on it. "It's perfectly fine if you didn't, but I'm afraid I can't interview you unless your name is on this paper."

Amphi moved over to the form, bending down a bit to look at it. She squinted at it a bit.
Well that looked like her handwriting.
"WAIT!" She looked back up at Chel/golem/demon man, "That wasn't a paper to be added to the lucky drawing down at the market? The one for all the blossilia and tea deer giveaways!!?!?!" Amphi clapped her hands on her cheeks. "Oh no! Ruth is going to KILL ME."
She started to circle around the room in worry, first delivered flowers to the wrong person and now she couldn't even win free stock for their shop. AHHHH.
She turned her head to the male demon. "Wh..What is the interview about?I filled out the form so I guess I have too...." and maybe she could pretend to tell Ruth that she had taken long because she was really interviewing with someone.

Chel let out a laugh. This girl was definitely a few screws short of a lightbulb. That was okay though- Chel wasn't that bright herself and she always appreciated folks that made her feel smarter.
"I could ... put in a good word for the uh- article yeah. The article. Do a little bit of free advertising for Miss- Ruth was it? Would that help?" Chel felt bad flat out lying to the girl, but she didn't want another Astra incident. Calm and collected was nice. Especially since Amphi was already circling the room. Definitely wanted to calm that situation.
She realized she hadn't even given the poor girl an explanation. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry. Let me back up yo. My name's Trevor Spooky. I'm writing a piece on some more ... sensitive subjects. I came to this school to interview you guys just to see what's up in Halloween."

"...REALLY!?!?!" Amphi looked at the boil, a dopey smile returning. "That would help so much! Maybe Ruth won't get upset again! I can tell her the good news after!" She bounced over to the seat, like she didn't have a moment of horror and smiled at the boil.
"It's nice to meet you Trevor. I am Amphi! A mermaid from the sea!" She nodded, "Ohhhhhh Sensitive?" Something changed a bit, guarded just a little. It's not that she didn't trust her own kind, but sometimes....
"Oh, well I can tell you as much as I can! I actually graduated recently so...I don't know If I'll be any help!"

Chel chuckled, perhaps a little sadly. Her chipperness reminded her a bit of Nevada- which was odd considering she'd always been taught that Halloween was filled with savage beasts. Yet this little one was so relatable? So odd.
"Absolutely, it's no problem lil chicky," she cooed, pretending to write the details down. "Ah, yes sensitive. Well you see, it's about the hunters."
She then paused, waiting to see Amphi's reaction to the word. Today things had been ... very reactive so she had learned to wait a little bit first.

Amphi smile froze a bit at the word hunters, and her hand came up to reflexively clutch around the area where they had injected her core with the tracer.
"I see." Amphi's tilted her head, "Do you mean the bounty hunters? We've been having a lot of problems with these guys coming to Ruth's house and claiming she owes them some money or something! But I think Ruth handles it well..."
Amphi was dumb, but after experiencing so much at hunters, she knew when and how to play her cards.
"Are they making trouble around Amityville?"

"No ... though I'm very sorry that's happening to your lovely store. That sucks man. Tell Ruth I'm sorry," she said with an honestly apologetic tone. The idea that someone was stealing money from a flower shop was just downright thuggish.
Chel wrote something down and said, "Unfortunately though, I'm talking about the ones in the white coats." She pantomimed her own coat, long and flowing. "Have you heard about the recent events in the desert? Do you have anything to comment on them?"

Her smile fell as it was confirmed that it was not bounty hunters but in fact the hunters. And while she didn't dislike them, she was also aware that not a lot of them liked her.
"I have not." Amphi sat straighter in her chair, "Besides what my boilfriend has told me. The horseman-" She hissed, "are up to their usual it would seem." It was a bit scary when Amphi got a little more serious. She hated this feeling.
"If you are asking about hunter, I would advise you to be careful who you ask." Amphi looked over her shoulder, "They are always watching. Hunters and Halloween." She sat back, "I don't mind hunters. They have a nice man, his name is Wash. Like Washing bubbles." She closed her eyes.

Chel laughed in her head at Amphi warning her about hunters watching. She was definitely warning the wrong person.
"You've met them then?" Chel asked, curious about her relationship with this "Wash" fellow. "What did you think of them then? Good? Bad?"
She perhaps seemed a bit too curious, so she leaned back in her chair and said, "I've uh ... never seen a hunter before, to be honest. I was assigned this uh ... article, and I don't know the first thing about 'em beyond the stories for chil-"

"yes, many times." She looked at Chelsea. "Some are good, some are bad." Amphi laced her hands together gently.
"I think hunters are misguided and angry and scared. But some are not....Some are not angry or scared and don't mind students.
"Hunters are..." She frowned. "Hunters are trying to fight in a fight they don't believe they will win. It makes them desperate, and it makes them do things irrationally."

Chel tried to keep an incredibly judgmental look off of her face. She clearly hadn't talk to THAT many hunters if she thought they were cornered and scared. Evan? Evan wasn't scared. Rep? Rep was out for blood. There was an incredibly long laundry list of people that weren't irrational, nor believing they were "losing."
All she did was lean awkwardly on the chair's armrest and put her chin in her hand. "So you think hunters are ... weak?" Chel asked. "You say losing- could you elaborate on that?"
