Seeing as most hippies' belief system fall somewhere between atheism and paganism, we're pretty relaxed on the whole subject of religion, which, in my opinion, is the way it should be, because everyone discovers their spiritual selves in their own personal way. But it would be very interesting to hear everyone's opinion on the subject! Yay, discussion!

I think that each person finds "God" or what ever they will call it in an individual way. My belifes are primarly Occult based, Best way to describe me religiously is an Alchemist/Occultist/Cathar with some influenses of Astaru.(SP?)

Currently my spiritual beliefs are a partial meshing of ancient Celtic paganism and Buddhism. I love religions that help you to achieve inner enlightenment and connect you with nature. It's just so comforting. Also, the theory of reincarnation is very important to me, because even knowing all of the Earth's evils and less savory aspects, I do love it, and living my life here only to reach some other world, whether good or bad, wouldn't be the same - actually, it'd be so bland, without all of life's trials, tribulations, and glorious joys.

I'm a Witch with a Catholic boyfriend... Luckily, he's a very understanding and open-minded Catholic...
He doesn't like... chase me around with a lighter yelling: "Thou Shalt Not Suffer A Witch To Live!!!!!"

I don't really have a religion, nor am I an "aitheist" I feel every religion has mainly the same basic stuff with little twists and turns. Like be nice to other humans, do to other humans how you would like them to do to you, basicly your everyday morals and values rolled up into many, many, different tortias that certain people like the taste of certain flavors. xd

Im a mothra worshipper.... You know, from the godzilla movies. Okay, I just say that because my beliefs fit in with theirs. Quote: It is my belief that all gods and goddesses are, inherently, fictional, as they are intepretations of the energy which is life and which can be used towards different means with one's willpower. Humans choose to interpret this power as beings: gods and goddesses. Therefore, no one deity is more real than another, and the Christian god, the Triple goddess, Bastet, Athena, Mothra, and all the others, are only as real as we choose to make them. From the mothra worshipping webpage. No, i don't actually pray to mothra but I like to say Im a Mothra worshipper so I can see the looks on people's faces when I say "I worship mothra." (the religion does have my full support and I am a member officially of the group. Also, what mothra represents is good divinity anyway) The religion actually I thought up the same thing, but never attached Mothra to it....

I don't really have one set religion. My own personal beliefs are derived from dozens of religions. I carry with me bits and peices of Christianity, Wicca, Hinduism, Paganism, Druidism and many, many more. There is too much out there to learn and understand to allow myself to be restricted to just one belief. With that said, I don't suppose there is much else to say...

I used to say that was my religion, but then I thought. "is religion really that importaint?"
