Past the outer district, Karanese, is an open field. Humanity is at a disadvantage here against the Titans since 3DMG is practically (almost useless) since there is hardly anything for the hooks to grab. There are random trees here and there but they do not stand too tall. Sometimes, you'll see a small wooden cabin, abandoned during the fall of Wall Maria.

A couple other soldiers and a supply cart or two follow after here adding on more sound to them. Not a Titan is seen creating suspense in Yumi's heart causing it to pound in her chest. Her hands grip the reigns even tighter waiting for anything to happen.

Maemi rides into thee fields following up behind a supply cart. She kicks her horse in the side signalling him to run faster and soon she was up in front near another black haired soldier. This mission.....this mission is her chance to prove to her great great grandmother that the family she created is not full of complete cowards. He who dares...Jason's horse caught up with Yumi's after several moments. He leaned over and checked both his tanks one final time to make sure they were full. Getting eaten by a Titan was probably the worst way to die that he could think of, though he certainly tried not to think about it. He looked around at the soldiers as they continued through the field. How many of them would die today? He had seen people killed before. He had.... Jason shook the next thought from his mind. Point was that he'd never seen anyone eaten by a Titan before and he imagined it was worse than any other way he'd seen people's lives end. "Wonder what they expect us to find out here except more titans?" He asked aloud as he rode, putting one hand on the holster that held his flare gun. If an officer died, he was ready to shoot off flares himself. WINS

A few moments later Jason rids up near her and everything feels alright. Yumi glances over at him hearing his question and mumbles an answer that is automatically deleted by the loud sounds of the horses as well as the sound from the supply carts. "I don't know but I'm guessing information about the Titans," yells Maemi hearing Jason's question. "Either way, I can't wait to get to Shiganshina. That's where my great great grandparents came from and I remember my mom telling me stories about some basement or something. I don't know but I'd like to see what that Outer District looks like." Looking ahead a few birds in the distant retreat from a groups of tall trees. Maemi sees this and places one hand near the flare gun in case she needs to shoot.

He who dares...Jason looked over at Maemi as he heard her explain. "Information? They're giant, ugly and they're trying to eat us. We know how to kill them. What more do we need to know? I mean, maybe if there was a way to kill them without getting within arms reach. That would be nice..." He wondered what kind of information about Titans could be sitting in a basement in one of the closest territories to the outside world? That was a dumb place to keep it. "Well, minus the hungry killer giants I'm sure it's quite a nice view. Plenty of wildlife now that all the humans there are gone." He definitely seemed bitter about the whole thing. He thought for a moment as the rest of Maemi's comment registered. "Your mom used to live out there?" He asked curiously. WINS

╔════════════════════════════Blizard hightailed it past most of the scouts she was determined to get to her assigned place near the front even if it was a terrible place to be. Luna watched as she neared the supply cart planning on passing it quickly as possable. He knew Blizard wouldn't get tired any time soon, he was allways was a faithful horse so it pushed forward with all the speed it could muster. They would pass the cart soon and be nearing her assigned position. ════════════════════════════╝

 Out of the trees runs a 15 meter class Titan. Judging how fast it's running shows that it's an abnormal. It runs quickly towards the groups of soldiers causing the ground to vibrate underneath them the closer it gets.

With the rate of speed they're travelling and the speed the Titan is running they are soon to clash together sooner or later. Of course it's an aberrant Titan. Once can tell by its speed of which it runs. Average Titans can't move that fast. Maemi's eyes widen seeing her very first Titan but she quickly attempts to rid her fear from her and does her best to change it to determination. Out of the corner of the two girl's eyes they see a red smoke flare from the other group signalling that they have spotted a Titan. They don't see a green smoke signal so they might have to encounter it. "C'mon guys we need to get rid of this," she says pulling out her blades. "Can someone fire a black flare?" she asks a bit nervously.

I went out back, and I got my
gun...  Blaize hurried to catch up with the others, thankful that the horse he chose was fast and had good stamina. As he pulled up, he caught some of the conversation. The ones from Sangrishina? She couldn't mean....he put the thoughts out of his head. It was interestnig, but hardly worth butting into at the moment. Right now, he had to keep his head on a swivel, and his hand on the flare gun. Sure enough, he sees birds take flight, and not long after that, a Titan, running abnormally fast, advancing on him. He stiffens, his mind almost going back to the day he saw his first Titan, how it ripped apart and ate the only people he ever considered his friends. No, he thought, strengthening his resolve. He would not lose it now. Too much on the line. Not after finally making it to the Scouting Corps. Looking to the others, he waited to see if the officer in charge would fire the flare, and tell them what to do. He'd go after the Titan himself, only....they were exposed out here...nowhere to hook their 3DMG at all, save for a few pitiful trees. If only they had a cannon or something....He sighed, finding himself overthinking again. Though it did give him an idea for later. He'd exploit the next lull in action to write it down in his sketchbook. For the moment, though, he waited eagerly for a chance to strike...

╔════════════════════════════ Luna waves at her friend as she passes, and to her horror spots the titan in front of her. Hearing the voices behind her she pulls out her flare gun and screams "BLACK FLARE!" as it fires into the sky. Changing course she glares at the titan a plan forming in her mind. "Follow me! Ill distract that titan, you guess get behind it and kill it!" against her fear her voice was steady and brave as she charged toward the titan faster then the rest attempting to encourage it into turning away from the rest of the scouts. She didn't care if she was out of her rank or not, if she could help it no one would get hurt or eaten by the titans. ════════════════════════════╝

Trisha heard about the scouts going into the fields, she was tired of never having anything to do in the Military police. Her dream of trying to change it was slim to none, as in it would never happen. Riding horse back she came to a groups of scouts who were clearly fighting a titan. A grin swept across her face It's definitely been a while.. chills ran into her body with adrenaline. The Horse sped up to one of the scouts "Tell me, whats going on here..do you guys have a plan?" she spoke loud and clear for the dark haired girl to hear. She kept her eyes on the Titan who seemed to have its attention on one soul person.

Yumi and Maemi change courses to follow behind the Titan as it quickly starts to catch up to Luna. Next the sight of a green unicorn catches Maemi's eyes. "Luna is distracting the adnormal but as you can see it's quickly catching up. If we don't want to lose someone we better kill it," replies Maemi quickly trying to get her horse to go as fast as possible. "We better h-hurry," says Yumi a bit shyly as she stands up on her horse doing her best to stay balanced. She pulls out her swords and aims the 3DMG hooks at the Titan. A moment later she abandons her horse as she heads straight for the back of the Titan. As she closes in on it the abnormal turns around and quickly snatches Yumi. Its run comes to a stop seeing that it has a human in its possession and looks at her with blank eyes. Yumi struggles to break herself free with no prevail. Her eyes water as it slowly brings her closer to its mouth. "I'm not ready to die yet, she thinks to herself as she opens her mouth to scream. Maemi narrows her eyes and grits her teeth. "We have to weaken it before we kill it! I'll go for it's Archilles heel someone save that soldier and then someone kill it!" shouts Maemi determined not to lose anyone. How could she please her great great grandmother or even be compared to her greatness if she let's a soldier die. Though it is out of her hands she can't stand by and let it happen. Maemi stands on her horse trying to attempt what Yumi had done only to lose balance and fall onto the ground with a roll. She grunts as she gets up a bit disoriented from the fall. Hearing Yumi's screams of terror bring her back to Earth and allows her body to respond normally. The sound of shooting wires head into the wind as the hooks shoot and hook onto the Titan's lower leg. Maemi goes flying towards the Titan swords drawn as she prepares to hit her target.  In this world turned to ashes.... .....I certainly dream we weren't so finite.

gun... Blaize pulled up behind the Titan with the others, noting the arrival of another member, and also noting it was Military Police. Unlike the other two he met earlier though, this one seemed to be willing to help at least. He was about to speak, when one of the girls tried to attack...and got caught. Blaize scowled, and fired his 3DMG, hooking onto the TItan's arm. "Oh no you don't!" he said, racing towards the Titan and pulling his swords. Instead of aiming for the neck, though, he adjusted, and aimed for the TItan's arm, slicing deeply into the wrist as he passed and taking out a sizable chunk. Hopefully it would be enough to make the Titan drop the girl. He was not going to watch another comrade get eaten today.
