Personality: Damien is a reserved fellow who prefers to go straight to the topic at hand rather than beating around the bush and distracting himself. He prefers to not waste any time in trivial manners. This resulting in his inability to be close to others since he always believes others will always be slower than in in everything. He is strategic and clever. Never doubting his ability towards perfection. Although he can be a perfectionist, it leads to his utter downfall due to the fact that he can be harsh towards himself; resulting in him being a very critical individual behind a cold exterior. Being highly intelligent as he is, he can come off as c**k and snobby when truly, he only wishes for people to know his ability as a genius. To calm his nerves from time to time after being upset or disappointed, Damien likes to keep himself secluded from the others and just take the time to have a good smoke...

Background information: Damien grew up on the streets of the United Kingdom. His parents had died due to alcohol consumption when he was at the tender age of four. His father died and a few months later, soon did his mother. He was never born with the ability to connect to the other world and use its power for his own strength. He was granted these abilities out of a tiny wager...
After the death of his parents and living alone for a short while, Damien was snuffed out by the authorities and taken to an orphanage where he would wow the young children with his natural genius at a young age. He was a logical child that rather than playing with toys, would read every book in the orphanage library. He read so many books, that he cleared out the entire library. Much to the dismay of the owner of the orphanage.
A few books caught Damien's fancy: Necromancy, witchcraft, spell binding; they all seemed so interesting so him. So in the after hours when everyone was asleep, Damien would attempt to complete the spells in the books. He would make his own charms and he would partake in his own rituals. No one discovered of this secret until he left the orphanage at the age of 17.
After he was kicked-out of the orphanage for being too old, Damien lived in the local library for a year until the librarian finally saw him sleeping, surrounded by a variety of books. Rather than punishing him, the librarian gave him a job to teach lectures for the multiple college students. He was later discovered by a talent scout months after and offered.
Damien was then recruited to become a professor here in Paladin for his high intelligence. Due to his practice to become what he is today, he places his success as an individual and a necromancer on himself and his brilliance.
